bawal goreng is a popular dish in the mainland area especially at Juru and Sg Dua. There’s even a famous stall in the middle of an oil palm estate serving nothing but this dish alone. Looks like I have a lot of food exploration to do in Penang.

Anyway, one of the more convenient and hygienic eateries where you could easily get bawal goreng is at Sg Dua from a restaurant called Aziz Mee Pak Ngah.

They also serve Mee Udang, which to me is kind of an underrated food that deserves more attention.

Variety of mee udang, masakan panas. The portion is just enough, this one I chose udang laut so the price varies based on the weight. Park by the roadside at own risk, or you can park at the petrol station next to it and walk a bit to the restaurant. Nearby the exit to highway.

The main dish to try here is the Mee Udang. Worth it. Parking space is limited though. Overall, good place to get your tea-time fix.

Try their Mee Udang or Mee Rebus!! You will be impress by the taste. Other menu also quite good and nice. I love the Iced Milk Tea. Very delicious and suits my taste.

Not Mee Ida but Opposite at Mee Udang Aziz. Fast service. Service with smiles. Delicious. Lots of Prawns. Prawns quite Fresh. Good Satay also.
