Foo House Pandan Nasi Lemak ( Penang HQ )

I was around Sungai Ara area and asked my friend for recommendation and he told me to check out this nasi lemak. Wow, I am so glad I did. I was told that the fried chicken is good but I saw the curry siham (cockles) and I can't help but order that. For every authentic nasi lemak, you must have peanuts and anchovies and I asked for extra peanuts which the worker duly obliged and give me more. The sambal is pretty nice, well... to me sambal is the heartbeat of nasi lemak so if it taste bad, there goes the nasi lemak.

Price for food is okay but the milk tea at RM3 is high side imho. All in all, definitely recommended by me!

Fried chicken is soft and well marinated. Sambal is not spicy but flavourful. Chinese style nasi lemak. If you are looking for spicy sambal then this is not the place for you.

My favorite nasi lemak in town. Love it since their stall at the kopitiam nearby. Curry is very flavorful.

The place is nice, food is good, just if you come late for the food you need to queue.

Frequented the stall many many times before they started their own shop. Congratulations indeed. I must say it’s one of the best in town. The fried chicken thighs are a must for my family.

A long queue to try their Nasi Lemak. The Fried Turmeric Chicken and anchovies are so delicious! Ate lala curry, the gravy is thick and not so spicy.

The nasi lemak very delicious especially the curry prawn. The chilli fish can be improved . The queqe moving quite slow.

They specialise in nasi Lemak and there are varieties of dishes readily available from 9:am onwards.Come early to dine in as there are not many tables available but usually the line could be very long, denoting usually repeat orders from locals like us.

Best nasi pandan in town. They have the crispiest fried chicken I've ever eaten in Penang. After moved to new place they have better service and more choices of food as well as drink. The owner and her daughters are kind and very nice. I highly recommend this place to anyone that love nasi lemak.

Opens at 9am. 11.30am onwards will be crowded.

Nasi lemak nothing special with hardly any coconut taste. Full of artificial lime green colouring also.

This cost me RM10.50, two meat one vege, ok la reasonable. Came on 9am got small queue, the food is quite nice one. Credit to its juicy fried chicken. Btw as per last visit here still cannot dine, only tapao ya.

Its abit expensive. Depends what you choose. Rm30 for meal for 2 pax with 2 drinks.

Arrived 12pm and already packed. Come early to avoid the lunch crowd. Parking nearby is quite hard to find. Especially as road construction going on in the area.

Feel A little bit hot at noon time. But food is nice.

Reasonable price. Good quality food. Clean and nice environment.

The queue was a bit lengthy. However, I can confidently say that the wait was entirely justified by the fantastic food they serve.

Worth the long wait.
Once you are at the front of the queue, spoilt for choice because everything looks good (Chicken / Prawn / Sotong / Fish..etc)

Tasty nasi lemak with curry pork and fried chicken. Quite crowded at times.

Their famous fried chicken and sambal chili are nice. Pandan nasi is special and taste is good. Lunch time is packed and serving quite fast. 👍
