The Westin Desaru Coast Resort

We had a very pleasant stay at The Westin Desaru Coast. From the moment we reached all the way till the end of the stay, we were greeted by friendly staff and exceptional customer service. Every single staff member from the concierge to the cleaners were so friendly and helpful, making our experience a pleasant and enjoyable one.

The premises have direct access to the beach as well, and the beach is so clean and nice.

The breakfast buffet spread had lots of variety and the food was very good too.

Overall, I am truly positively impressed by the standards here at The Westin Desaru Coast and I truly recommend having an experience here. Thank you to all the staff for the warm hospitality 😊

Service was very good, room is clean and pretty . We love the view from our room, u can just rest with the sound of the ocean. Though the renovation sometimes sound hard and kacau the waves sound, but it wasnt that distinct.

Bathtub is big, breakfast spread is good . Have something for someone. Definitely will come back again. Value for money, check in and check out process is very smooth.

My friends and i booked 3 room for a surprise proposal. Check in was smooth and explained to Kai, the check in staff on duty about our plans and needs for the special arrangements to make the surprise a success.

Kai went out of her way to really understand and accommodate to the requirements making sure everything was in order before the surprise proposal.

Please give Kai a raise or a promotion :)

Everything and everyone was good at the hotel.

The rooms are really clean, spotless bathtub, really and i mean really comfy beds.

Every single staff including the towel guy, housekeeping staffs by the pool was really kind and nice, greeting us every time they sees us.

The breakfast buffet has a huge variety from different cuisines and they change some of their food everyday to make sure that you won’t be bored with yesterday’s selection.

11/10 would come back to stay at Westin Desaru again!

We enjoyed our stay so much! Super comfortable big bed, all the amenities in the room are amazing ( I'm someone who enjoys a good bath - big spacious bath) they provide bath salt too!!

Amazing selection for breakfast, We had a small incident at the restaurant near the beach, But the staff, waitress quickly took our plate away and gave me a new one and also gave me extra! ( Which I felt so bad as accidents happen! )

Love the kids club! Not only they played with my son, they will also remind him to drink water😅)

Please order their creme brulee and Pandan sago! It's so so so so good!! - as a pastry chef myself I really really really enjoyed it.

Stayed here for 2 nights, and I must say it was beautiful! Firstly, the room was spacious with a nice partial sea view (I booked partial), and the bed, bathroom, and amenities were good. It comes with a bathtub and balcony as well. Secondly, it is near to the beach, the facilities have gym, spa etc. Thirdly, the dinner was normal, the breakfast was great. It is right beside Hard Rock Hotel and the water adventure park. The price was quite expensive but expected as a 5 star resort. There were no malls or shops around the hotel so if you want to travel out, you will definitely need to book a car.

Relaxing stay at Westin Desaru. Nice room, with sea view. Can walk to beach and kites/balls provided over there.
Dinner at beach bar affordable. Satay recommended.
Only downside was the frequent power trips lasting few minutes each time (longest was around 20 min) which I believe is not something that happens usually

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Westin Hotel located at Desaru Beach, and it was an unforgettable experience. Desaru Beach itself is a very beautiful place, and the Westin complements it perfectly.

The hotel offers an exceptional escape with a lovely beach right at your doorstep. The golden sands and the sound of the waves provide a tranquil setting for relaxation. The scenery is breathtaking, with lush greenery and stunning ocean views.

The Westin Hotel itself exceeded my expectations. The rooms are modern, comfortable, and beautifully designed. The staff were incredibly attentive and made my stay even more enjoyable.

If you're looking for a serene beachfront getaway with great scenery, the Westin at Desaru Beach is the place to be. I can't wait to return and experience its beauty once again

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Westin Desaru. Very nice chill classy vibe around the hotel. I would like to compliment Eve from Heavenly spa, she is very professional and did one of the best massages I had. Madi who organized the yoga session is a lovely bloke as well, he is meticulous and impart his vast knowledge to us. Looking forward to my next trip to Westin Desaru.

We had a wonderful time at this resort. The location was perfect, with easy access to the beach and other attractions. The facilities were top-notch and well maintained even tho there’s on-going construction during our stay. The staff were friendly and helpful, always willing to assist us with any requests. The cleanliness of the property was impressive, it comes with special decorations for our honeymoon staycation as well. Highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

The decision to have our staycation here was a good one. We had a really good rest and felt rejuvenated at the end of it.
Apart from its location which is by the beach, there are two things that make us keep on coming back: the staff and the food.
At the time we arrived until the time we left, we felt special. The staff just warmed our hearts. The treatment given was beyond heavenly gestures.
As for the food, we just yearned for more.
True, staying here has made a big hole in our pockets. But it was worth every single cent.

The best resort and the best customer service, you will feel like a Queen! Everything is perfect here and worth 10000 your money! 4 days and 3 nights in here, everything is delicious, breakfast, dinner at prego too! I will rate 10/10

Nice beach, many restaurants to choose from and staff are very helpful, I left behind my sun glasses & the team was prompt in finding them and arranged for it to be sent back to me.

Conveniently located at Desaru coast. Very welcoming lobby area and clean rooms. Staff were attentive and patient. My children kind of flooded the bathroom and I got their help to dry the area and they came back with extra mats to help prevent a recurrence! The room is beautiful and cosy too. Highly recommended!

The room is clean and well maintained, our room comes with a yard, we enjoyed sitting there and embrace the scenery. Their buffet is superb , all the foods are very yummy . Location is very convenient and their provide free shuttle to the water park too.

Great, spacious room with great view on the beach. Staff were friendly and helpful. They are currently renovating so some spots are blocked off and you see things going on. I would come back after everything is completed

We had a fantastic time at the Westin Desaru. The hotel staff were courteous , professional and so helpful all around.

Given we were celebrating my wife’s birthday, the team at Prego (Italian restaurant) and the room staff set up a few really good surprises :-) along the way which made for some very delightful moments.

The suite upgrade was nice touch with stunning expansive views of the Sea and the beach.

Not to mention the convenient shuttle services you’ve setup with the Hard Rock Cafe making for easy access to the adventure water park.

Great experience overall - we’ll be back again to Westin Desaru soon.

Staffs were very accommodating and friendly.
Breakfast had wide choices and fnb staff were very friendly and helpful.

Seaview rooms are large and decent. Hotel staff were very friendly too. Most amenities are quite new but a new pool is still under construction so bear that in mind if you are travelling here anytime soon. There is however, still a functional pool. They also provide shuttle service around the area as well as to Hard Rock Hotel which is just across.

There is a Live band outside Prego in the nights or you can head over to Hard Rock Hotel for live band.

There is a small private beach section but waves are quite aggressive especially during the monsoon season. Take extra precaution if going to the beach during this time.

As a beach resort, they could do better by having a lifeguard around...

One of the best stretch of beach we have been in Malaysia, clean sands, swallow seabed with clear water. My family with little kid enjoy a lot with our stay in Westin and playing by the beach. Will definitely come back for another visit.

Overall experience is the best! room, breakfast, environment all superb! near to the beach but, we need to use stairs, as i am pregnant, its a bit hard for me to climb up to the lift lobby. but, its okay can treat as exercise. buffet breakfast is varieties. during checkout time, because of heavy movement, they give free ice cream for us which is a very good strategy.
