Restoran Terapung Seafood Bujang Firefly

I hv decided to try out this restaurant! Mr Google definitely knows its stuff. Even though it might be a little off the main road, the peaceful ambiance by the river is totally worth it. And the food? Oh, it's absolutely delicious and the service is quick too. Just a heads up, the prices are reasonable, but not super cheap, especially if you're going for the seafood. Enjoy your meal!

The food is great, fresh seafood offered here. The view of the river and the mangrove forest is amazing. However, the road to get to the restaurant is quite dark and scary. 🤣 All and all a great experience and fabulous food.

We went here on weekdays just to avoid crowd on weekend. The food was so fresh! I totally in love with all the seafood. The price are also reasonable for all. Lokan bakar only RM10 per set. Which i really2 love. Keep it up!

Place is like Kampung Style. You can feed the fishes before heading in to dine.

The fish,clam is VERY FRESH as compared to Singapore.
It's very tasty, it's worth the price, affordable.

Would come again if there's chance,would like to go for the tour.

We came at night, the road in is very challenging. There is no light and need to drive very slow and safety.

The roti canai sardine for breakfast was super good, must repeat it soon. Roti canai sardin tebal and kuah sambal kari pedas. And atmosphere near the beach also nice for family and friend

Generally the food are delicious, right portion and affordable price.

Food are delish. Nicely cooked. Restaurant order flow is very well managed where you just need to order at the bridge first and bring the order list to the counter, just past it and you'll be given a table. According to my experience, it didn't took a long time for my order to arrive. Thumbs up to the team!

You can also enjoy fireflies sighting after food. But i don't know hows it, is there many fireflies to see, cause I haven't tried yet. Look forward to try one day 😊

Overall the place, food and price are okay and reasonable. We had a set of food for 5 people and everything was so good. large potion served. Order bihun sup and it was a lot! The place is a bit old but clean. We went for the firefly tour and it was good. Worth the money. Rm20/pax. Would definitely come again. Th place have package of eating in a moving boat with karaoke etc. Rm600 for 10 people and 2hours. It is including food.

If u first time to go to this restaurant, please don't be scared about the road to the restaurant. Yes, the road don't have light. It's the correct road and just follow your GPS. When u arrived, ull see plenty of cars and the restaurant itself. This restaurant literally floating and got partition where the boat already modified to be a food place.
You need to order at the small counter at the bridge before u enter the floating restaurant. After that, the worker inside the floating restaurant will assist to ur place.

The food. It's delicious. I got so big Kupang. I never eat that big before. The pricing is okay for the experience. Don’t expect 5 star dishes.

They also provide Fireflies tour. Price RM 20 per person

Side note: This restaurant has many customers. Please come early if u don’t want to wait for the Q. Please be mindful as the workers also a human.

very good food & good firefly cruise. Saw many many fireflies along the mangrove during the boat cruise.

Extremely rustic place with good food and a unique experience with the river cruise. Lots of fireflies, an interesting place to bring the kids. Except there is nothing else to do except have dinner and then wait for your turn on the cruise. Toilets are clean.

The ordering system is quite impressive. We came early at 12noon. The service is fast. Road towards restaurant is well paved. You will be served while viewing beautiful mangrove

Fresh lobster and crab with pretty view. Staff is friendly to reserved table with good view and called a cab for us to get back to Desaru with reasonable price. Definitely will recommend others to go.

It’s really nice experience at this place, the fireflies tour visit is fantastic as compared to the one at kota tinggi. Food taste is ok, but extremely reasonable with the portion given and it’s seafood!

We took the crab package and added ala cart butter chicken and sambal Lala…all was good!
Best part of the boat ride for the firefly which start at 8pm. My kids were amaze by the sparkle in the trees…
Advice: try to call them to book the boat ride ticket in advance so that you can secure the first slot at 8pm.

Eating here they offering you food menu depend how many person, expensive food but delicious , 4 person set food menu so many around 116rm up price

Great place to have big gathering with delicious food and quick service. Really recommended. The only down side is the road to this place is really dark with no street lights in the estate making it quite scary driving at night.

Food were great. When they get busy, they might forget your order. Do remind them so they will get it right for you. Avoid peak hours 6:30-7:30pm.

If you can wait or a late eater, consider to come after the 8pm departure for the first ferry for firefly sighting. It will be lesser crowds.

Firefly Ferry captain and his assistant were cool and steady. They made sure we get to see fireflies.

Ticket per pax is RM20 which I think it’s well spent for a city person.

Overall, I would say the food and the ferry are greatly recommended for a city dweller.

The place is secluded in urban palmoil tree area which the road is narrow. This restaurant offers quite a view of johor river as its a floating boat theme. Becareful going down the ramp as its very steep to enter the dining area. The food is superb and delicious. Fast service and very spacious setting. If you have family/friend with disability using a wheelchair, they can provide assistance to help u bring down the person.

At nightime u can view fireflies using a boat service. Tickets sold rm20 per adult min 4 pax. Spectacular view as the tokan will splash river water to activate the fireflies to kelip² as you view from side of boat. Dont worry the boat will not rock/sway a bit.

Not sure about the food coz didn't eat here, walk through all the way kampung road then arrive 😂 I would rate the firefly boat experience for a 4/5 ✨ rm20 per pax (adult) and there are quite many fireflies! But please aware that it is a night nature trip, gotta wear long pants or apply sth otherwise there are many mosquitoes waiting for you
