Frandy Beach Bar & Restaurant

The ambiance was great and during the time we visited, it was breezy as well. The food was good, the service was excellent and overall, the deco of this place is amazing! They have bean bags as well so you can chill by the beach. Moreover, there’s live band too. During weekends, they offer fire show from 9-9:30 PM. Though we missed the sunset, we got to watch the fire show. It was terrific!

Cozy spot beside the beach, reasonably priced and food was tasty. Waiters were alert to all customers even tho tables were spaced out. Food came really fast too. Lovely place to hang out beside the beach while listening to their live band. Would definitely visit again.

Walked there from our hotel. Nice decoration for CNY. Nice sitting area. A great variety of Western and Oriental food featured in the menu. Our food came within 15 minutes. Highly recommended the fried mee and beef rendang. And for drinks the fresh coconut. We had a nice view of the sea and beach. Took great photos.

We ordered Western food and the quality food is not bad, but won't amaze you I guess. The atmosphere is really great as there will be live bands performing. The view from the bar is also really nice as it is just by the beach. Worth giving a try.

It’s truly a hidden gem! The entrance to the place it’s a little rough and bumpy. But once you step in to this little jewel, it’s truly mesmerizing and relaxing!! The sunset view is the best in town! The ambience, service and food are impeccable! Big portion with reasonable price! Highly recommended and definitely will be back!!

You come here for the view ! Watch sunset with good music is a best time to spend the night .
They even have live music (she is good).
The food and service were ok but it is definitely worth the view and experience .

My friends and I went to Frandy Beach Bar every day during our three night stay at Batu Feringghi. The food was excellent! Prices were reasonable and portions generous - just the kind of thing you hope for on holiday. Everything we tasted was good. It’s hard to find fault with anything - but if there’s one thing I’d change, it is the plastic chairs they use on the Sandy beach. Makes for really uncomfortable seating as the chairs often sink into the sand. Otherwise, it was excellent!

Great atmosphere. Reasonable price according the portions size mostly L/XL and the beachside situation. Fast service even a Sunday night with 💯+ customers.

Took their Valentine package and like the setup at the beach. Well decorated for the evening. Food wise OK.

I was staying near this beach bar and visiting during the day, the staff were great and the food looked fab so I returned on the evening for dinner. It’s such a quiet and beautiful spot to watch the sunset. I went solo and the staff were really friendly and gave me some great recommendations for the local area.

This is a great Asian beach bar. Bizarrely these are rare in Penang. Good music, good food and cold drinks. Sunsets are amazing here.

A late post. Found out Frandy is just right behind the resort (Bayview) I was staying, love it! Bf and I went here for drinks and some food during our two nights stay. Good cocktails priced around rm30, which tbh is cheaper than what other bars around would sell. Their food especially their pari/ikan bakar, superrrr good! Definitely would come back.

My 2nd visit here and they have upgraded the decorations which is beautiful. Food is great and big portion. Iced blended coconut is nice. Unfortunately some food items I enjoyed from the first visit are no longer in the menu / changed recipe such as the clams with lime, nachos. But still a great place. Could improve with mosquito repellent at the parking lots and at outdoor seats. Grateful that they allowed me to bring my 2 dogs too.

Came just after lunch time for a late lunch. Place to ourselves. Great staff, delicious drinks and pizza. We had vegetarian pizza and French fries with Strawberry Daiquiri and frozen lemon drink. All amazing. Thanks for a great afternoon.

I felt in love with the atmosphere and ambience here. Food was good, especially the fish and chips. They served very big piece of fish. It was value of money . The restaurant is facing the beach. There is a parking lot. You need to pay rm 2 to park there.

Good food good drink good service. Big portion. Coconut flavorful. Taste great meet the value. Just bad thing many fly, but waiter is helpful light up candle.
