Armenian Park

Armenian Park is a charming public park located in the heart of George Town, Penang, nestled between Acheen Street and Armenian Street, with the Penang Youth Centre bordering it on one side.

This serene park offers a refreshing green space amidst the bustling inner city of George Town, replacing the former Acheen Street Flea Market that once occupied the area. The historical roots of this location trace back to the mid-19th century when it was known as Kampung Che Long, a Malay village.

This is a garden in the busy town of Georgetown. It is UNESCO heritage site, most of the time it becomes the one of the venue for the Georgetown festival or events.

Tall trees provide good shade even during the afternoon. Nice landscaping. Lawn was well trimmed. Recently there are mid autumn festival decorations at the park.

Paid street parking available next to the park. It's walking distance to various Georgetown famous and iconic places of attraction like the khoo kongsi, mural arts and etc..

A beautiful spot in Georgetown! We were lucky that the park had been decorated for a festival and it was beautiful, colourful and absolutely stunning! Great place to get some shade or watch the locals play basketball on a court next door

Nice downtown park. Plenty of shade, benches to sit on. Enjoy your lunch, join a tai chi class. Sip a cup of famous Penang White coffee. We saw some folks doing yoga as well. Lots of locals enjoying a stroll around the park. Excellent people watching.
