The mosque is situated right in the middle of George town Unesco area. It is an old mosque with interesting architecture and very comfortable for anybody looking to perform their prayers

Walking along Jln Masjid Kapitan Keling, you will see it emerge at the end of the street, complemented by the streetlights in just the right position, resembling a lighthouse on land at night.
The mosque was built in 1808 and was located within a Muslim settlement. Visiting here at night is even more beautiful than during the daytime.

This mosque was very cozy, the woman wudhu' place was a bit small but clean. The "telekung" was provided here. You can "solat jemaah" here if you arrive early before prayer time. Its surrounded by interesting shop so you can walk around happily w/o worrying about the prayer place.

Manager of the masjid is very thoughtful and even let me in after I missed congregational isha prayer (he was closing up but put the lighting on again) 🙏

Nice place to rest and perform your prayer. Women's wudu area is a bit small and only 2 persons can take wudu every time. The women prayer area is fully equipped with telekung, prayer mats, and is covered by curtains. The toilet is at the other area but clean enough and can be used.

Calm, spiritual place, in the heart of George Town, parking can be a problem during prayer times, but this is normal in this area

An old but beautiful mosque situated in the centre of artistic street of Penang. Came across the mosque while we were venturing around the art streets admiring the murals. The weather was scorching hot but we enjoyed the afternoon very much.
