Old School Bakery.

I found this place on google map and the reviews looked good.

So I went down to pick up a few buns and a loaf of bread.

The bread and pastries were surprisingly fresh and good and very reasonable.

I loved the curry puff, chicken pie and Egg Tarts.

I bought a loaf of Sliced Multi-Grain Bread. It was fresh and soft even after 3 days.

My only regret was not buy more stuff !!!

All-time favorite bakery with gorgeous wholesome breads, buns, pastries and cakes. Their Mexican bun and cinnamon rolls are my favorites. The seaweed buns are also great if you like a savory bread. Their banana bread is well made too and isn’t sweet at all. The breads freeze well too so you binge buy and freeze the rest for other days.

I've been coming here for nearly 20 years . The servers are friendly
They have very nice pies, curry puffs, buns, and different types of bread.
I only wish they would resume making those lovely sandwiches. Also ..bring back dining in.

Tried the blueberry apple pie, it was great in my opinion. The filling is not too sweet which I like it, and I can taste the apple and the blueberry. Also tried choco croissant, but it's just a so so, in my opinion

Went with the wild card and I'm so glad I did: The mushroom soup was phenomenal!! I didn't try any baked goods but they were selling tons of stuff as I tried to make up my mind. Seems like a very legit local spot.

Visited one of Penang's most famous Bakery, the Continental! We were there early and waited 15 minutes for the shop to open. As soon as the shuttle was open, the staff greeted us with their widest grin! 😍 There is
a small sitting area for us to enjoy their offerings. The cheesecake, chicken pie and bread pizzas were amazing! A must visit in Penang!

One of the oldest bakeries in Penang. A go to for soft fluffy buttery breads and pastries. Freshly baked and usually can keep for 3 days before expiry date. Turnover is high as most patrons do take away. Quality of bread has been consistently good through the years. Look out for the creamy cheesy varieties. And the multigrain breads and buns. Personally I do like their (curry) puffs that’s flaky and an absolute indulgence lol. Price here is expectedly higher.

There is a wide variety of bread being sold here. This shop also sells pizza, curry puffs and other pastries.

Healthy delicious tasting bread. I don't think you can find a better. Prove me wrong. Haha.

You definitely need to try their mushroom soup ita superb. Service is very good too the cashier will always give me a smile when serve us and the price is average for me, you can buy the food and dine in there too for a brunch or breakfast.

Ahhhhh.. how nostalgic.. back here after 5 years.. and we've known this shop for 15 years or maybe more.... we come here only for the Custard Puffs... but can be best assured the rest pastries, bread, cookies are as good or even better... 😝😝😝

Old school taste bakery, you the kaya like grandma taste like..bread is soft and taste great.

It's one of my favorite bakery stall. Bread is freshly made daily. You can get a variety types of bread e.g rye bread, soya bread, croissant, cup cakes, pies, homemade kaya etc...

The golden apricot bread is good, same goes for the normal milk loaf. I like the cheesecake best, and it is fast selling. I was disappointed a few times when it was all sold. The cheesecake is a normal, no frills, no pretty decorations, but the taste is authentic.
