I had Nasi kandar kuah banjir and it taste really good and fried chicken is very tender. Also ordered a roti canai to try. It's a must try. Not oily at all and it was the nicest roti canai I ever had in Penang

One of the best Nasi Kandar in Penang, been coming here ever since. Loved the food and the taste. Nothing much to say if you're a nasi kandar lover , do drop by and taste by yourself. There's morning and evening sessions. Evening starts after 4pm. You have to find for parking spots yeah, because this shop located right below residential areas and quite packed. Bon appetit!

Don't miss the FISH HEAD CURRY. The gravy of fish head curry at Nasi Kandar Kampung Melayu is tastier than other gravy there. One big head for RM60 is cheap!

Tasty. Feel like eating healthy food since its a healthy version of nasi kandaq. Tastewise its superb & full of flavor. Recommended to tourist who wants to taste the real nasi kandaq!

Was my childhood kampung food. Went here after 15 years. The taste is amazing. Price and portion very good. Affordable! Bought 5 bungkus of Nasi Kandar Daging Telur Rebus and Papadom only for RM35. A go to place when you go to Penang.

Deifnately a place to go for Nasi Kandar's fan and a gem in Kampung Melayu. My parents had been eating since they were young and the taste remain the same. Eat it with your hand when it is still warm, you are in for a treat. Don't worry that you need to queue for about 30 minutes depending on the crowd but it's all worth it.

Queue up around 20mins on public holiday.
U only can get the seat after u get ur food. This is a good strategy! So even though lots of people, we still can get seat.
The kuah banjir is amazin and the strong curry taste. I like it.

I've sampled their nasi with gulai ayam and it was damn good. So went back here today just to tapau their gulai ayam for supper later on tonight. Can't wait.

Best Nasi Kandar in Penang! Look for no other place! This Nasi Kandar Kampung Melayu is the best in Penang, many choises & the price is Mesra Rakyat. Sufficient parking space, adequate tabe to sit. The staff are friendly too. Reccomended to all.

Although today is weekend, I just queued for 30 minutes to get my order taken. I had my usual plate of nasi kandar consisted of rice, squids, boiled eggs and lady fingers. The price was still reasonable as I bought 4 plates. Haven't been here over a year, still I love its taste.

Trust the locals when they said this is one of the best nasi kandar in Penang. Satisfied with their nasi kandar selection, must try squid, beef and ayam bawang. Long que but it’s moving, need to come early to avoid disappointment. During puasa said to open from 11.30pm - 5am, but their food finished at 2.30am. Holy Macramoni! Surrounding area not clean or hygenic, their restaurants are clean. Hard to find parking as it is around housing area.

What more can I say for this legendary Nasi Kandar spot... Definitely one of the best in Malaysia 👍🏼😊

If I had to make a list of my 10 best spot for NK, this will be in the list.

Meat curry is very nice and tender... I like to take their ayam bawang and mixed into "kuah campur". The fish head curry is also very good 😋

Terbaikkkk! 1st time try here delicious as you can see and based on the other reviews, bole repeat again but parking jela quite limited since shop in kawasan perumahan so kena selit2 sketla but worth it for taste and price 👍🏼

Food - My personal top 3 nasi kandar in Penang. Must go place when visiting Penang.
Beratur level - Avoid peak hour if want to avoid long que. Beratur period 10-15 mins.
Parking - limited parking.

Queue Was long, once at the counter service was fast. food was great, cleanliness so so. Under a high density public housing, trash bins nearby, area smells, parking difficult.
