The setup is basic and simple - this isn’t a fancy restaurant. Evenings in the entire Island are pleasant, but carry a mosquito repellent just in case.

This place is a gem. A stone’s throw from the tourist area, but excellent authentic local food at very reasonable local-ish price. Ordered ikan lobang, sotong and kangkong, all were executed excellently. Friendly, attentive service. Best meal of this trip.

Ever since they closed in Pantai Cenang I thought I am not able to find them again, and here they are! Delicious food as usual but nicer environment. Spending a night here sitting in a cozy restaurant enjoying the BBQ fish is one of the best experience here.

Is my 2nd visit here. Last time their restaurant located nearby chenang beach which was before Covid-19, now they have shift to another place but still within driving distance of 6 mins from chenang beach. Their food tasty as usual and price is reasonable cheap! One big fresh fish cost us RM49 only which feed 4 of us. The boss is very friendly as well. Highly recommended for local ikan bakar.

Best Malay Food we had so far! We recommend the fresh fish. The restaurant is very clean, the owner and staff are very friendly and caring. The prices are very moderate. We will definitely come again before we leave.

The food is so good.
Our favourite was the stingray on the grill.
You can choose your fish and the way to be prepared. Every fish came with a different sauce and it was so tasty.

The only downside is the location. It's near an intersection.

The service was fast and with a smile on the face.

My family and I (there were 9 of us) had a really enjoyable dinner here. We came to the restaurant around 7pm after a very long day of touring around the island and received great service. The location is right by a traffic light junction, so if you're driving, I recommend for you to park at the Buraq Oil station right next to the restaurant. Just learnt that the restaurant was originally located closer to Chenang Beach but is now located at an intersection, close enough to the Chenang Beach area.

Seafood's fresh, service was prompt and friendly. We had lala masak cili, ikan bawal masak kicap, ikan talang bakar with sambal, sayur kailan halia and sotong goreng tepung. No fuss at all. Even when there were mosquitoes, they helped to put up a mosquito repellent without us asking for it so that we could enjoy our meal.

All in all, highly recommended and please support their business. :) We enjoyed our dinner tremendously. Hope the owner and his family continue to thrive. :)

Amazing fish and seafood! We had sting ray, calamari and some fish that I don't know how is called. All is fresh, you choose it, and they cook it in front of you.

The food is amazing , price is fair and considered cheaper than concrete decorated restaurants, I recommend it 1000% ,it is the best one in Langkawi in my opinion , service is nice and you can enjoy dinner there
