Villa Paddy

Our family of 4 stayed a night at Villa Studio and really enjoyed our time there. I loved the design of the studio with the kitchen and bathroom downstairs and the TV room and bedroom upstairs. The quasi-open bathroom concept was refreshing and other furnishing were tastefully curated. The TV room couch opens to a queen size bed, and was perfect for the kids. The TV room also opened to a nice long balcony where you can appreciate the breeze and the expansive view of the paddy fields and the nearby "mountain."

The staff were helpful and friendly. The owner who lives just next door to the property was seen at breakfast and was very hands on. We chatted and he was very kind and humble. If you're considering a unique place to stay in Langkawi away from the "action," look no further. You'll love this place!

This place blew my socks off. My partner and I were staying in Langkawi for a few months, and decided to have a night here for a change of scenery.
We got the cheapest room and it was incredible - the attention to detail was amazing. Top quality finishings (mugs etc), Netflix, the comfiest bed I've had for a long time, even the toiletries, tea and coffee. You can just tell how much pride and love has gone into making this place what it is.
Immaculate landscaping and the breakfast was to die for. You get to order the night before, and you not only get your cooked breakfast, but small snacks, sweets, cereal, fruit, tea n coffee and the list goes on.

There are 4 cheaper rooms, who all share a pool. Then the next level up rooms share a pool, and villas have their own pool. Really cool idea and means the pools are very quiet and relaxing.

I've stayed at a lot of hotels all over the world, and was so surprised with how much love is poured into this place. Couldn't recommend more!

This is such a gem in Langkawi.

We stayed in Villa Studio, suitable for 3-4 pax, overlooking a paddy field. We love everything inside the villa, from the design of the room, its cleanliness, the friendly staff, and the very hands on boss, who is around every breakfast meal.

Despite it not being located at the major tourist attractions, however, its location right in the middle of Langkawi provides easy access to all parts of Langkawi, mostly within 15-30 min car ride.

We were offered a tour by the boss to some of the villas, and we were impressed by how every types of family and group size will be able to fit into this hotel with ease, ranging from:
- couple
- family of 3-5
- small groups of 3 pax (4 families) can share a dip pool
- bigger families (catering to 10-12 members) in a 3 bedroom suite

There is a lawn where guests can arrange for barbeque or small group catering. The hotel is flexible, and can arrange for the food (with separate cost of course).

In my view, this hotel is also good for small company retreat as it will allow easy interaction between the staff as the villas are all within a small compound.

I looked through some of the 1 to 3 star rating by some of the guests. I think they were probably comparing this boutique hotel to the big hotel chains expecting a lot more facilities. For its size, I think it was being unfairly compared.

The security is good as the hotel is always closed gated. However, each villa is provided with a remote control to open the gate, so it is very convenient.

Guests can also make direct booking with the hotel, as it would help them save some expense from the platform fee. Being a small business, every savings is good. However, the hotel does not stinge on providing a comfortable stay for their guests.

We stayed in Villa Huma over the Deepavali long weekend and it was fantastic. The room is true to pictures, with sofa bed and extra mattress already set up for the kids. We checked in early at 12ish and they were doing final touch up.
The room is good size with everything you need, and the highlight is obviously the pool. It’s one of the most affordable private pool Villa you can find in Langkawi, and probably Malaysia too.
The location while appear to be far from everything, is actually great if you have a car as any parts of the island is usually 15-20mins away. Being away from the touristy area also meant that food is more affordable, and just across the road there’s a pretty decent nasi lemak and down the road there’s a few good eateries.
The breakfast is semi buffet + option of a main course, I find the local dishes better than the western ones and the Kuih served are pretty good.
I’d certainly come back

This is a wonderful piece of heaven. The owner puts a lot of love and thought into the details of everything. He is friendly and polite, and is always seen around the villa, self clearing tables at breakfast or doing maintenance of small things around the villa. The landscaping is gorgeous, it's plants and flowers everywhere. Every guest gets a remote control for the main electronic gate. I was upgraded to a villa with direct access to the pool, open the sliding door and the pool is at my feet. Room has unique layout design, quality thick towels and quality bottled water, not cheap brandless ones. Location is in between Kuah and Pantai Cenang, away from both crowds and noises. You can order food from Foodpanda and take a Grab car to anywhere. I highly recommend this wonderful villa to everyone. Support honest, local entrepreneurs and their businesses!

I wasn't expecting this place be THAT good with the price I'm paying. Definitely worth every penny. We got a very nice, clean and spacious queen room. The toilet is very clean and well equipped with shampoo, 2 types of body soap (gel & bar soap), toothpaste, toothbrush, cotton bud and they also give electric mosquito repellent. Apart from that they also give hair drier, iron board, iron and kettle.

My room got a swimming pool which we share with only 3 other room. The place is full with well maintained flowers and security is good with automatic gate which we need to open and close every time we go in and out, so no outsider inside the property. The reception lady is very nice, polite and friendly. I highly recommend this place.

Excellent villa that's conveniently located near the airport, impeccably clean & comfortable. Reception staff were also warm, friendly and helpful. Would definetely recommend this villa to everybody! It's a true sample of excellent hospitality. Perfect place to for our 4-day break in Langkawi.

This place is amazing! Very green territory, good view from windows, in the morning you can enjoy bird songs. Room is clean and there’s everything you may need, even iron and pool slippers, bed and pillows are perfectly clean and comfortable as a cloud.The breakfast was very delicious and nourishing. Friendly staff and the owner always ready to help, feels love and care in every detail.Definitely 5 stars and will come again!

This is the nicest place that fits my taste & soul. I live in the busiest city, when i have holiday, i judt want to enjoy the nature which is something i cannot obtain living in the city and this Villa Paddy really gives me what i need.

I stayed in Villa Studio. I can enjoy the view of hills, paddy fields, cows in the morning. It was really nice when you can enjoy that view in the morning.

The concept of this place really meet my expectations. I love the garden concept.

This hotel is fabulous and comfortable. I booked a studio room and it is spacious and well equipped with coway water purifier machine, microwave, refrigerator and Smart TV. It has a sofa bed and queen sized bed. And, this place even provides umbrella and this is handy during rainy season. And, the staff is friendly and helpful

First of all, the owner and all staff are very kind and friendly and helpful.
The room condition was very nice and clean.
Also, they provide fabulous breakfest, it's not like a buffet but you can choose local style or western styles for main dish and it's well prepared.
The hotel location is middle of Lankawi Island, and to Airport, it only takes around 15mins. And close to Khau town.
The hotel is highly recommendable.

Great place. The rooms were clean, the bed was very comfortable and the staff were very friendly and attentive. The breakfast was the best breakfast I have ever had in a hotel in Malaysia. We would come back anytime and can recommend the hotel to anyone.

Beautiful, very clean, fully equipped. We were so delighted with our pool suite. Location right in the middle of Langkawi, hence accessible to most places. Keep up the good work!

Awesome hotel - stayed here on a 3 day trip with my boyfriend and was very happy with the room, the staff and mostly the breakfast. The location is a bit out of the way but if you have a car or motorbike, it’s fine. Would highly recommend to stay here

We stayed here for a weekend. Well designed, modern, clean, awesome friendly staff, breakfast options was good for me as a westerner. Cant think of a more central place to stay - everywhere are reachable by scooter from here in a reasonable time. Next to paddies for running/cycling

It was a Fabulous Stay at Villa Paddy!
Owner seems to know what a guest require in a room and all amenities were found in this quaint budget Kampung style place. Thanks to 2 ladies who made our stay very welcome- Lin and Fadilah. Will definitely stay here again on my next visit. Brekkie was superb esp the Nasi Lemak.
