Ranis Lodge

This place is just superb and we are so pleased we found it and they could accommodate us for four nights - wish we could have stayed longer. The setting is so quiet and beautiful, the amenities are fab and the accommodation is modern, clean and has everything you might need. You ideally need your own transport - we booked directly and arranged a scooter through the owner at the same time and enjoyed exploring the island on out two wheels - but we also used Grab for rides in the evening to visit local restaurants and for food delivery. If they have availability then don’t hesitate just book! It’s really one of the best places we have stayed :-)

We fell in love with this place at first sight - it is a heaven for introverts as you will live with the view on the jungle, reach the pool by the splendid trail in the forest and there will always be veeery few people by the pool. The villa is perfectly equipped, the kitchen has everything you can need even more. You will definitely need a scooter for rent as the nearest decent supermarket is quite at a distance. But if you love both solitude and adventure it definitely worth it. We are personally very grateful to Alif as he helped us seamlessly rent a scooter

We visited the villa (booked via AirBnB) with 3 couples and we loved it. So calm and beautiful! We could have stayed longer and were sad to leave after 5 comfy nights. Nice bathrooms, all clean, terasse and pool area is great! Flexible cleaning, super friendly and helpful staff (propz to Alif), washing machine, easy scooter parking included. Owner brought us to airport for free in the send. Free water refill in the own kitchen. We recommend 100%!

The stay at Rani's Lodge was really great. The accommodation is very well maintained and of a very high standard. We felt at home right from the start. The apartments consist of a bedroom, a living/dining room with kitchen, a bathroom and a terrace. The bathroom has two showers. One in the villa and one outside. We were accommodated in the Rimba Lodges. The grounds are also very well maintained and feature a small forest path and a beautiful pool with a view. There is also a small relaxation area with a drinks fridge. The accommodation is located in the jungle, so there are also monkeys on the grounds, but they are shy. They are not the macaques that can be found on the rest of the island and annoy people. Finally, the hotel manager Alif is always available and has valuable tips to hand. All in all, I can say that this accommodation was definitely the best on our entire trip to Asia. However, a car or scooter is required. Alternatively, you can of course take a Grab. Alif and the owner of the lodge are happy to help you rent a vehicle.

Exceptional Homestay Experience with a Friendly and Communicative Manager Aliff.

We recently had the pleasure of staying here managed by an outstanding host for four days and three nights. From the moment we arrived, the Alif's warm and friendly demeanor set the tone for an unforgettable experience.

Communication with the him was impeccable. He not only greeted us with a genuine smile but also took the time to ensure we felt comfortable and welcomed.Whether providing recommendations for local attractions or offering assistance with any concerns we had, the Alif consistently exhibited a high level of professionalism and hospitality.

Our accommodations were spotless, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed.

Unbelievable. One of the best stays I think we’ve ever had.

Tranquil, beautiful setting on the hillside, with spectacular views across the island, and centrally located so you can easily get anywhere.

Reinhold is an outstanding host, and all of the staff are warm, friendly and very welcoming.

The facilities are superb; a beautiful infinity pool to refresh after a hot day exploring the island, delicious breakfasts, complementary water station which works seamlessly, great reading and rest area with hammocks….honestly the list could go on and on.

The little lodge we stayed in was spotlessly clean, private, very modern and well maintained, and a stunning veranda area to sit and watch the wildlife and enjoy a drink.

Thank you so much for making our week long stay such a special one, from the moment we arrived to the moment we sadly departed. We will be back!!

Langkawi's Hidden Gem: Ranis Lodge Exceeds All

Ranis Lodge proved to be a tranquil oasis, a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of Langkawi Island. It went beyond my anticipations, providing an almost surreal experience during my stay. The facilities and amenities were impeccably kept and spotlessly clean. The villa had all the essentials I required for my three-night stay. The staff members were exceptionally hospitable, and I want to express my gratitude to our host, Alif, who was a remarkable and genuinely welcoming individual. Without a doubt, my next visit to Langkawi will involve booking with them once again.

We loved it! Reinhold is very kind and helpful. He waited for us at the gate on arrival, even though we were later than expected. There was a welcome gift to celebrate our honeymoon. Also a scooter was ready when we arrived. The villa is amazing, high standard and well designed. The pool on the hill is very refreshing after a long day. We will definitely come back one day.

We loved our stay at the Ranis Lodge.
The location was simply stunning.

The owner of the property kept us in contact before our arrival and advised us to rent a car which we did at the Airport in Langkawi.

Check in was smooth as possible.
The rooms are huge and we enjoyed the coffee and tea provided, also had the noodles on offer all FOC.

breakfast was stunning, they served quality breakfast everyday apart from Saturday.

House keeper and Ryan were always on hand to advise us on any queries and offered valuable tips.

Langkawi Island is easily accessible as we had a rental car and anywhere you want to go is within 30 min.

Langkawi airport is 10 min away by car.

Google KY laundry - 24 hour service which is 6 min away by car.

We didn't use the pool but it looked beautiful.

The only thing I would recommend is water pressure for the shower is a bit low, may not be for others but that didn't take away from the experience.

One of the highlight gems in Langkawi. The sunning landscape of this place is really beautiful. It really is a home away from home. Reinhold is so accommodating and is a cooking breakfast chef! Everyone is so helpful and makes sure your stay is a memorable one

The pool area and main lodge area really are comfy and relaxing after a long day of exploring the island.

We stayed for a week in the villa stays and really was so comfy and spacious for couples.

We were really sad to leave and hopefully we can come again in the future!

We stayed here a 6 days in last summer and fell in love with the place. The Rimba villa we stayed in was fantastic and just perfect for the two of us.
The villa was surrounded by shy monkeys and it was so nice to spy their life in the trees.

The whole area is well kept and lovely. Pool was perfect and it was nice to go relax in the hammocks.
Breakfast prepared by Reinhold was probably the best part of the stay and it was great way to start your day.

Excellent place, a bit aside Main Street but it’s a big plus because you come to Langkawi for a contact with nature and not city life.

Beautiful location and setting, lovely villa, very friendly and engaging host who makes a brilliant breakfast (different every day/free but donations go to local charities).
The location is central on the island which means it only took us 15 minutes travel to reach any destination. GRAB taxis easily bookable to and from here.
Everything was perfect.

Reinhold and his team has been the most helpful and responsive to queries! They also checked in to check if all’s good! The Airbnb was lovely and it comes with an outdoor shower, hammocks and a beautiful pool. We could see stars at night when the sky is clear!

I echo everyones view, this place is stunning and real gem! Beautifully designed and decorated, you can tell that real love, care and thought has gone into this place. We stayed here for 3 nights and had an amazing relaxed break, really enjoyed our daily visits from family pets! Reinhold was a great host and a great help, even dropped us off to our next hotel when we were unable to get a taxi - a big thank you for that :)

We stayed at Ranis Lodge for some days and even added some because we loved the place. It felt like home and everything we needed was directly provided by the people working there and Anis. Everyone was so nice and made us very comfortable. Amazing experience, surrounded by nature ! I recommend ! (Hanane and Gacem)

Completely in love with the Ranis Lodge! We loved that the estate incorporated the surrounding forested area and we spent 3 wonderful days in nature. The Rimba villa was spacious and comfortable, totally felt like home. Breakfasts prepared by Reinhold was also the highlight of our trip, they were probably the best meals we had in Langkawi! Thank you for the hospitality!

This eco-conscious resort brings you close to nature and is a delight to stay at. It was lovely to watch some farm animals like chickens, turkeys and more roam free right from our room balcony. I dare say it's one of the best resorts that I have stayed in, in Langkawi Island. Will definitely be back again to visit.

The breakfast cooked by Reinhold was absolutely delightful and tasty. He catered to different dietary needs (1 Vegan guest) and everything was amazing. The facilities provided were also top notch with a well equipped kitchen

We decided to go back to Langkawi after a 5 year wait, and so our obvious choice was Ranis lodges and again we were not disappointed. Reinhold greeted us with a warm welcome and made us feel at home immediately,we were amazed at the beautiful added lodges and the chill out area. Great to see all the shrubs and trees matured and gorgeous.we had the breakfast every morning made by Reinhold, fantastic although I believe it was stopped soon after we left but you can do your own in the large kitchen or just pop out and buy some.
We also had a look at their newly acquired villa Kelapa with a view to returning again.beautiful!! We stayed for 2 weeks and enjoyed every minute.

If you're looking for a place to stay in Langkawi, doubt no longer, this is the place to be. The complex lays a bit uphill, which gives you an amazing view. The property is very neat and taken good care of every day. The lodges are spacious and well-equipped (plenty of towels, coffee and tea, water already in the fridge ...). We even had an outdoor shower. Moreover, the staff is super friendly and very approachable for any question you might have. Can't find a better place to stay in Langkawi for sure.
