I contacted the rental through whatsapp, and reserved a van for 8. We were met by Siti Aishah at the cruise terminal in Langkawi and right away we had good vibes. She had excellent command of English and gave us insight of Langkawi as she drove us around. She was very flexible with our schedule and gave good recommendations of what to buy and where to eat. The van was spacious and very clean. I highly recommend her services.

Everything went well and smooth since the early discussions via WhatsApp. They are very quick responsive. We rented a car for 7days, the car was nice, clean and delivered at the airport. When giving back the car a new scratch was present at the back probably due to someone hitting the car when it was parked. I did not noticed it I checked in the picture indeed it was not there, Aisha immediately send a picture to the car repair, he replied immediately it will cost 150RM for the painting. I totally recommend they are professional

Given the recent development and commercialisation of Langkawi Island, there are no shortage of car rental service providers. Some reputable & noteworthy, some shady & questionable. In general, here are 12 tips for those who wish to rent a vehicle in Langkawi.

1. Respect the vehicle as if it was your own. Take good care of the vehicle & it will take good care of you in return
2. Best not to park the vehicle below trees to avoid damage from falling branches or tree sap
3. Do not drive the vehicle to places that you won't with your own vehicle (ie. Onto the beach, up a curb, speed excessively, drive under the influence etc)
4. Park the vehicle properly to avoid door dings & tyre side wall scrapes
5. Be considerate and do not smoke in the vehicle. The island is beautiful. Stop your vehicle safely, satisfy your cigarette cravings while soaking in the beauty and then continue your journey
6. Return the vehicle on the last day with similar level (or more if you feel generous) of petrol in the tank as when you collected it. A little extra goes a long way
7. Observe the island's speed limit & driving regulations to avoid being billed for traffic summons (Generally 80km/h and below)
8. Bring your own phone holder especially when you are unsure and are navigating Langkawi for the first time, so you can get around with certainty using Waze or Google Maps
9. Avoid Pantai Cenang on Saturdays unless you do not mind being stuck in a traffic crawl
10. Take the necessary photos and videos on collecting the vehicle, to document any dings, scratches, scrapes, bumps & damages already present, including all 4 wheels, windscreens & windows
11. Download the Flexi Parking app & load up with some credits before making your way to the island, as this app is usable for all council parking on the island
12. Observe the local parking hours and operation days as it may differ from what you are familiar with

Service baik. Encik Khairul deliver and collect car at Airport Terminal on time. Car in very good condition, mileage only 6000+ KM only. Almost brand new. Clean & Nice smell. Rates is fair for the excellence car condition and good service. You can find cheaper alternative, but quality not as good. Highly recommended for couple & family & business too👍

Aishah was very efficient and clear/honest in her communication. We requested a car and they delivered it the same day to our hotel. The car was clean and in good order. She met us at the airport at the front door and task the car for us. All at a very reasonable price. I recommend.

Car rented is relatively new and clean too. The daily rental charged is reasonable and cheaper than the major rental companies.

Great service! We got a free upgrade from an axia to a Honda city. The car was brand new and in excellent condition. We were met at the airport by Aishah who was efficient and kind. We got the car quickly and smoothly with no waiting time. We would highly recommend this service and I will be using again when I next go to Langkawi.
