ROUTE 113 ANJUNG CAFE

Good, authentic western menu from this restaurant . First thought of it was like normal Malay style Western restaurants but it was totally different.
Run by ex Andaman Resort Chef, the food was totally a 5 star food.
Located just on a roadside, very hard to miss.

Ambience atmosphere with a gentle night breeze made my dinner feels so good. Had ordered Spaghetti bolognaise and chicken chop. The taste were so good, no kidding. I highly recommend to western lover especially langkawi visitor to come and enjoy the food here.

If Langkawi is the jewel of Kedah, then Route 113 Cafe is the jewel of Langkawi. The menu here, mostly Western, is outstanding. Our 9 family members ordered a range of items including the lamb, hamburger, pizza, Ceaser's Salad, mushroom soup, pasta and every item was top notch, 5 star-hotel level deliciousness. Items served close to each other and food presentation for each were lovely.

The drinks were supreme and the staff, efficient. Prices were reasonable and affordable, making the eating experience even more stupendous. A smallish venue with some outdoor seating and a welcoming ambiance. What a find.

I had the pleasure of trying the rib-eye Angus at Route 113 Anjung cafe, and let me tell you, it was the best I've ever had. I've tried rib-eye at several five-star hotel restaurants that charged triple the price, but none of them could compare to the taste of this cafe's version. From the moment I took my first bite, I knew this was exactly what I had been craving. Every bite was incredibly satisfying and left me wanting more. I will highly recommend it to others and I can't wait to go back and try the other options on their menu.

The best steak house in Langkawi! Perfectly grill beef served with two side dish. Everything was superb and very high quality food cooked perfectly by hotel chef but with a very reasonable price. Highly recommended for those who come to Langkawi you guys should give a try and I beat you will come again and again ! Thank you for a very good service and excellent environment. Toilet and prayer room also available. Will definitely come again soon!

This is the place to come if you are craving great Western food and perfectly cooked Steaks!! It's all hotel quality but with any nonsense and for a very reasonable price!! What a great experience... definitely next level for a roadside establishment. And the service was great!! We couldn't get a grab back to the hotel so the owner took us back himself with a smile. That's some service. Cool experience and we left impressed! The staff used to work at a resort before a fire. Explains the higher end hotel quality food.

Lots of flies but they did a great job trying to mitigate it with traps and candles. I also recommend them getting one of those spinning flags that shoo off flies.

The best dinner we had in Malaysia! Fresh products, lots of vegetables, amazing home made sauces. It’s a hidden gem in the island. The view to the mountains are very nice too. Good luck for you! Plan eating here after visiting Cable Car.

Fat outside yet so tender inside, the steak’s flavor, tenderness and juiciness blended well together in a combination equaled by no other meat.

Among the best and high quality steaks & juicy that you can have in langkawi.

Plus points: food was incredibly delicious and portions were fair. My preference would have been a bit more spaghetti but I was happy with what I got regardless! Prices are super reasonable for the beautiful presentation, amazing flavours, and quality ingredients.

Not so plus points: Waiting time was pretty long but there were lots of customers at the time and I understand they might need some time to work through the orders. Also the staff were lovely and apologetic, so we appreciate it!

Overall it was a wonderful experience and I would definitely return over and over again if I lived here. Highly recommended, I don't think you would be disappointed.

Just WOW!!! Hidden gem of Langkawi! In two weeks we tried lots of different places and meals, from night market street food to best rated restaurants in the island and this was HANDS DOWN - the best dinner we had. This is a must try, when visiting the island.
The place itself does not look very welcoming at first glance, we decided to try this of well reviews and location near to our resort. From the street you can see an average looking local diner, but don't judge the book by its cover. The food and the enviroment does not match, they should really consider investing, renovating and upgrading, because the food is A+ restaurant grade with really decent prices.
Cheers to the owner and the kitchen team, we're definately coming back!!!

Tried avocado blended and lamb shank kuzi, sumpah nasi dia sedap 🥹 the salad is superb! And the most lurve issssss lamb shank!!!!! So tender 🥲🤍 i will definitely go again!! Also thank you for the best service ever 🫵🏻🩷

Second time in Langkawi, last time I was here was in the early 90s 😂. Found this place via Google (open at 5pm I think) and have to say that the review on Google Map did not disappoint. The place looks like a traditional Malay wooden house, and is situated just beside the road. The food was good, we tried ribeye steak and spaghetti bolognese. Worth the trip driving here. Overall, a recommended place to have dinner.

A well run restaurant, staff used to work in a hotel - they are friendly and professional 👍🏼 The steak here is pretty good, the side dishes and mushroom soup were delicious with great presentation. Loved the iced lemon tea here too.

The best western food that my family ate in Langkawi. It is not oily and the quality of food is quite good. The service is fantastic. They brought ice creams for my daughters the following day. They dont have desserts. Highly recommend it!

About 10 mins driving distance from sky cable car station to this cafe. The fruit juice is served in a big cup and only RM6. Worth stopping by for it👍🏻 The food here are good too. Loving their burger, fish & chips and chicken chop❤

Food was amazing that I forgot to take pictures. If you don’t know what to eat in Langkawi, please give this cafe a try! I’ll give a hint: the owner was an ex-chef at the prestigious Andaman Resort - so you can expect hearty meals here. Just a note, the tables are quite limited so you might need to come early.

A bit off the regular routes of Langkawi, but absolutely worth the drive. Located in a classic malay house location, at the roadside.

We had the Mushroom Soup with Garlic Bread, Spaghetti Agio Olio (which is different then you may expect, but a nice and creamy variation) and the Salmon Teriyaki. All was really great, tasty and a good portion size (and actually surprisingly cheap considering taste and quality).

They also have a variation of deserts that changes, but for them we need to come back - as they were sold out when we finished the main course around 7:30pm. But that makes us looking forward for another nice meal here 😋.

Delicious food. Highly recommended. Reasonable price.
