Date Night Review:
Awesome food! Ordered the crab gyoza (my boyfriend’s favourite), truffle copellini, tiger prawn sando (my favourite) and the Wagyu cheek. Old fashioned whiskey was tasty with added spice grounded from scratch.

It was a very personable introduction by supervisor James to their unique array of tapas and dishes. Rarely do I hear food and drink knowledge of this calibre at a restaurant befitting a 5 Star hotel in Europe. Very enjoyable dinner especially with a Complimentary dessert when I was way too stuffed by too many orders ! Too tempting to resist. A MUST Visit when you’re in Georgetown Penang

Ordered the chef's menu for date night and the food and presentation was excellent! Good value for money with seafood and wagyu beef and thumbs up for the great service as well. Highly recommended!

food is amazing! The portion is just nice for 2 pax (especially if you are looking for something light and innovative). The small bites - paprika cauliflower is packed with flavour and the truffle ham croquette too!!! Bursting with umami. Lamb was good. Arrabiatta and capellini 👍🏻

Surprisingly they allow us to choose wine bottles from the wine shop ☺ we were accompanied by the waiter at chin chin to the wine shop to pick the wine of our choice with kind recommendations by the chin chin waiter.

The crème brûlée is the best. Not too creamy and chilled nicely. The negroni is 😊

Chin Chin Gastropub in Penang is known for its excellent and good food. One of the highlights of this place is Chef KK, a phenomenal young chef who showcases his talent through his fusion dishes. The boneless chicken served at this gastropub is simply divine, as it melts in your mouth with every bite. The flavors are so delicious that each mouthful is a delightful experience. Moreover, the staff, led by Alex, goes above and beyond to ensure that every diner has the best dining experience possible.

Pleasant meals. Love the caramelized beef coupled with onsen egg and the cold capellini. There are lots more interesting dishes on the menu. can’t wait to be back to try more!

We were the first and only customers tonight. It is a very nice ambience restaurant. We ordered karaage squid, butterfly fish, scallops, clams and grape cocktail. Clams were a little bit sweet and bigger portion on the fish. Food overall were great! Great service!

I've visited this place a few times already. Love the flavours of their food. U can also enjoy seeing the chefs preparing the food if u sit at the bar counters. Price is on the higher side, but it's worth giving it a go.

Went there a few months ago with my wife. Amazing food. And the bartender was amazing. Made us some free sangria of his own concoction! Great people all round!

Be prepared to pay for the food though, but I think is worth the price.

Very recommended! Tasting menu, small portion but great taste. Very fast serving, friendly and helpful staffs. Chef Su is friendly, recommended food and explain the menu. Reservation is required especially weekend. Cozy ambience. Try some cocktails and wine there. Again, Food is awesome

SURPRISE ME! Usually this is what i tell the chef when dining omakase. Of course such dining is for a special occasion, or with someone special. I got this whole place by myself and leave the menu aside, while enjoying the occasion with the special one. This is a 6 course dinner, and you can specify what you dont eat or preferred to the chef one day before.

Food here is not bad. Presentation and taste of each dish is very unique. Fine dining dishes (small portion) with a reasonable price.

Amazing food served by a team of hardworking and dedicated people bringing our dining experience to the next level! Fantastic! Price is at high side for Penang standard on restaurant food but the quality is not short changed. Make sure to call for reservation prior as I can see it's packed with people.

Amazing fooooood! Thanks to my brother who ordered everything for us, I'm not sure what half of these are. (Lighting is very bad for my photos though). Definitely worth a visit!
