We arrived early, 8 am had no problem getting tickets and no waiting time for the train. The train is a great experience!!!
The hill walk is beautiful. The care taken to maintain the walks and gardens is amazing.
The Habitat is a must. we did the walk backwards by accident. However, we found that we missed any crowds.
Set aside at least 4 hours if you intend on walking and taking in the beautiful scenery and wildlife. Highly recommend 👌

It's such a wonderful place to visit. Quite refreshing as its full of nature with dense forest, very well maintained and fully facilitated.
Anyone visiting Malaysia, this place needs to be top of the list.
Longest Canopy bridge, over the tree walk, everything is so good.

We came around 5pm and there were not so many people buying tickets. So I just waited around 5-10 minutes for my husband to buy the ticket cause only 1 person will buy the ticket if you come with groups. The exciting part for my kids was riding the train to the top of Penang hill👍🏻 it was their 1st experience. The view from the top is breath taking🤩 You can see beautiful City of Penang from there. The night view is even spectacular🤩 It took around 3-4 hours to explore the place. We even had our dinner at the food court named Cliff Cafe, the food there quite decent. After that we continued walking around the park. It's a great place to take a lot of photographs. Don't forget to bring an umbrella and check on the weather. We forgot to bring ours, so we have to walk through the rain. Luckily it was only light rain at that time. Definitely will recommend this place👍🏻

It attracts many people in the evening to enjoy the night panorama of the city, and it seems that a lot of attractions are closed earlier. Probably a good place to spend a day

Maybe due to weekdays visit, we don't have to wait longer for the tickets. There are 2 choices for the tickets, Fast Lane & Normal Lane. We bought Normal Lane ticket price RM12 (return) for adult. We, the normal lane ticket person will enter the funicular later after fast Lane ticket person, I guess. So no seat for us today..😁😁 but no worries because based on my estimation, it is only 4 minutes to arrived at the hill and we also can see the view from the train while it's moving

Visiting Stesen Bukit Bendera was an absolute delight! The journey via the funicular train was exhilarating, offering stunning views of Penang's lush landscapes. Once atop, the panoramic vistas of George Town and the surrounding areas were simply breathtaking. The cool mountain air was refreshing, making it a perfect escape from the city's hustle and bustle. The facilities were well-maintained, and the staff were friendly and helpful. A must-visit destination for anyone exploring Penang!

No so crowded, which is nice. A breezy walk up top. Quite misty probably due to rain early morning.

4 min to go up and down, very efficient funicular. Excellent spots to cool off from the city heat. Best time to go up would be around 5>6pm so you may enjoy both sight of the city day & night.

We had a very pleasant trip with funicular (train) from the station to the top of Penang Hill. It was crowded during Public Holidays and waiting time to take the train is about 2 hours while you can just wait at the restaurant around the ticket counter and check on the tv for your turn to take the train.
Suggest to be there in the morning to cover the areas to walk around at the hill top.

An amazing place, one with nature. Relaxing. Please go early by 8am if you want to avoid queues and have to buy ticket online 1 day before

Wow, this place is amazing! The view is breathtaking and there are so many fun things to do here. It's perfect for children and even for those who love taking OOTD pictures! The best part is that it's super kid-friendly, so everyone can have a great time. I'm so excited to explore all the cool stuff this place has to offer!

Efficient and clean station. Can be crowded at times. Each cabin can take about 15 ppl and it's a small cabin. May be claustrophobic for some. Ventilation can be improve inside the cabin. Ride is comfortable and quite fast. About 15 min

Well worth a visit to to tropical rainforest in The Habitat. Even got a free ride back at the end to funicular top station in a golf cart! Went to Penang Hill on a Sunday afternoon around 2pm, no queues but that might have been because storms were due later that day and it was the end of Ramadan so maybe people had stayed home that afternoon. Anyway, great trip

Penang Hill is an amazing attraction located in Penang, Malaysia. The hill is accessible via a funicular railway and offers stunning views of the city. Impressed from start to finished. If you are Malaysian, the tickets are pretty reasonable. I’m so glad we did it. The service is good, well organised, toilets are immaculately clean, people were friendly, restaurants are good and it’s probably the best thing we did in Penang I have to say.
Keep doing what you do guys. You rock!

Take the funicular train up around 5-6 pm to watch both day and night scenes. The ride up and down takes 4 mins each way. New trains are awesome.

Beautiful place, its only cost u Rm12 for return train ticket, and rm30 for buggy sights seing tour can seat 5 adult 2children, train moved every 15minit starting at 7am and last train at 930pm…
Suggest time catch train at 6pm enjoy sunsets view..

We went uphill on the morning sunrise trip. No queue, no crowd...everything was smooth. Nice view but few spots under renovation.. we plan to have our breakfast but the cafe open quite late. So decided went downhill and had our breakfast at the Sadon restaurant.

Overall the trip was nice..

Best Place. I'm Going Murugan Temple. N Take Buggy 1 Round 4 person. Buggy Rental only RM30. Then upside have Coffee Shop The Name Kopi Hutan.
