Deens Maju Nasi Kandar

My first time trying Nasi Kandar. Memang surrrrrrrr!

Got to queue for 15 mins but got shelter. Don't worry about seat, there have lots of seats inside.

Price for rice, chicken and 2 lady fingers (Bendi) was RM8.50.

Really like the kuah, whatever kuah given, it was flavourful. 👍

Great for local food. They have set menu if you don’t know how to order. Good taste. Yummy. Staffs are kind. Recommended!!!

I think this is one of the best nasi kandar in Penang…. There is a queue but it is moving fast, so issue there…

There is so many choice of dishes to choose from… the favourite is ayam bawang, nasi dalcha, telur ikan and telur sotong… and dont forget to request the sambal kelapa

Seating is ok as there is a fast turn around of customers… place is clean and comfy… the inly downside it is quite hot if you are seating outside but there is also inside seating available…

Met the owner as well who is very friendly… will recommend this place if you want aunthentic nasi kandar in penang…

Definitely worth a try despite the hype. Tasty curries, omelette bawang delicious, fried rice and curry mixture definitely flavourful. Go early to secure a place or be patient and line up.

I went there 25 minutes too early, the gate was still closed, and there was no queue. The food was awesome! I had fried chicken, sotong, ocra, potatoes, and the sotong egg in a small container. The fried chicken was crispy on the outside and tender inside (no blood clot inside the chicken drumstick flesh, 5 stars for this). The sotong is succulent and flavorful. I saw one of the patrons took the small container filled with something cooked in curry, i had no idea what it was, but it must be good, so I followed him lol.. Apparently, it was sotong eggs. I needed more gravy and the staff gave me additional mixed curry gravy FOC. I spent Rm29+ with a drink. I wouldn't say it's cheap, but the taste and food quality are good. I will definitely return for another plate of nasi kandar!

Having came back after almost 6 years, I yearned that the nasi Kandar could live up to it's previous glamour and my oh my, you will not be disappointed for sure.

Easily by far the best nasi kandar in Penang, the various curry sauces will leave you in a puddle after you're done but trust me that's one puddle you wouldn't mind being in.

1. Fried ayam is just amazing, can't imagine how one can eat nasi kandar without fried chicken
2. Sotong when it lies within the whole mess of curry sauces finds. Way to just stand out and amaze everyone

It was a long queue due to Holiday season but the queue moved quite fast. The food was really good and worth the waiting. Price also quite reasonable for a Nasi Kandar.

Like to mention their food is too good to be true & super spicy but apa boleh buat , mmg gitu rasanya unless you exclude your food from the kuah 🤤 and make sure u prepared an umbrella 🌂

What a food. Im so full after eating a plate of kandar rice with mutton and egg. Fast serving. Not a cozy but quite comfy. Its slightly different spices, compare to padang or kapau rice. Quite huge portion also

The famous nasi kandar of Penang. Long queue but the wait is not that long. Around 15 mins to order and enjoy your meal. Seating inside is abundant.

So far the best nasi kandar in Penang. No regrets, worth the price. Came twice, and still satisfied. If you wanna avoid the que, come on weekdays. Parking available just opposite the shop and behind there’s a private parking with touch and go entry.

The Q was veeeery long. But don't let it discourage you. Its quite fast and there are plenty for seats inside. This is the real concept of FASTFOOD. Q, order, pay, eat and leave. But the food taste amazing and price is very affordable. The only problem I had was parking. Everything else was perfect.

Great meal. When you come, they have a dish with only plain rice then ask you what food you want to add on. So you point and choose yourself food you like. We 7people had a good experience here. Their beverages are also nice. Milk tea is my favorite

Food has always been good here. If you came in during weekend or PH, expect 30min of queue to get the food on the plate. Normal days you wont need to queue up. Their ayam goreng berempah & telur ikan is always my get go here. Pair it with bendi & telur masin too! 🤤 (telur sotong is a bit flavourless for me). For the parking just don’t be lazy to find, ada je space don’t worry. Baca je doa makan inshaAllah dapat 😝

Even though you see long que but the system is very efficient you will get to order and pay fast, and their kuah combination sedappp gilerss🤩 Can pay with cards, QR code and cash. The staff is friendly and all smiles greeting you. It's one of the nasi kandar here in penang where i highly recommend to my family n friends 😁

The queue was not bad due to it was Ramadan month. Took us around 15min to order our food. The staff who served us was was friendly and respectful. The ordering and payment was very systematic and fast. The food was great especially the fried chicken. The squid was also very soft and tasty. Price was cheap compared to other N.K restaurants in Penang. The only set back was the weather was very hot so the seating area was extremely hot.

The nasi kandar here is quite good. The pictures tell a better story than I can.

Opens at 12 noon, and there is usually a queue already, but the line moves pretty fast as they are quite systematic and efficient

Prices are midrange, and every item price is listed. But price wise, it's one of the more reasonable restaurants
Mutton and seafood will definitely be more expensive.

Parking is a challenge, but you can get easier parking closer to the market.
