Tua Pui Curry Mee

Why this place doesn't have a constant line up is beyond me. The gravy is extra thick and pack full of flavours. This should be the number 1 spot for curry noodles in Penang.

I have not been here for some time because of the lock downs. It is still as good as ever. Added chicken and "sotong"(squid) to the curry mee. Yummy.

10 out of 10 for curry mee. Staff is also very nice.

Place is not exactly lavish so you're in and out for just the noodles.

Our 3rd patronage in as many times during our visit to Penang and their curry noodles never ever disappointed each time.
Could customise on what goes into your bowl and other add-on for a reasonable price.
The only drawback and challenge is the apparent lack of parking spot if you drive as the road is narrow too.

underrated. the curry really makes the dish. super curry with lots of depth. feels like it's cooked by your grandparent with lots of love.

They offer quite local taste of curry mee. Reasonable and low price, does not charge the "foreigner price". One interest thing is that they combine the serving place with their old-fashioned house. NICE👍

Curry mee speciality shop with many add-on to select.

A 3rd generation curry mee stall. Expecting the seller to be fat (tua pui) but was otherwise, he related that the founder was fat. Serving delicious curry mee with squids, cockles, tau pok and bean sprouts. The curry did not leave you thirsty. The current seller is also a herbalist, who is eager to share his herbal experience when he is free.

Didn't realize they have such a good curry mee. It's just a normal & single store selling curry mee with other add-ons. Shld taken some photos.

Best curry mee i had in Penang so far. Soup is thick and rich enough and there's enough of kick to the spiciness.

Flavourful curry noodle

I think it's one of the best in Penang. I don't know what some other people here are talking about when they say it's expensive. It's no more expensive than most when add-ons are involved, especially large prawns.

Very delicious especially with the added chicken curry and prawn curry. Like it since i was a kids...

The curry noddle is nice, and it taste much better if u ask the boss give u extra chilli paste
