Good food and great atmosphere. Char Kuey Teow was not bad, and the Dry Wonton Noodles were thin and flavourful (Not so much for the Soup Wonton). The Blue Nasi Lemak was also appetising. Roti Bakar & Egg was nothing too special, tastes pretty ordinary but it's not bad :-)

Loved the White Coffee here. It isn't as sweet or as thick like you would find in KL. Overall a great experience.

I often visit Bee Hooi Cafe and love their iced milk tea. The staff are friendly and welcoming.

They have a wide variety of local Penang dishes, and most of them are tasty. Today, I had the Petai sambal rice, and it was delicious. I also enjoy their oyster omelette, Hokkien mee, and Loh Bak.

Bee Hooi Cafe is a great spot to enjoy good local food in a friendly atmosphere. Highly recommended!

Still the best kopitiam for food in the evening. The prawn noodle ( Hokkien mee) 👍prawny broth , so is the Orh Chien ( oyster omelette) . Oh lobak stall is good. I like their sauce . The lobak above average but the prawn fritters even better. Popiah is ordinary
Oh the char kway Teow is the best . Very authentic old taste

1st time here. Nice CKT with huge prawn(maybe that's why it costs me rm12) however CKT portion is not much even when I ordered big size. Oyster omelet is one of the best I've tasted with many oysters in it. It has lots of egg in it unlike many others with just starch more than egg. Pasembor was also good but on the mild side & ingredient(cracker) a bit soggy. Will try other food on my next visit.

Came here for dinner and I must say that I really enjoyed the food here. It looks like a simple restaurant but it’s an amazing experience. It can be crowded but just need to wait to get a seat. I order the CKT with duck egg and the prawn is bigger that what you can get in KL. I also order the prawn mee(hokkien mee) and it like wow!!! I also order the Kuey Teow tn’g with extra fishball. It comes with two type of fishball. Enjoyed it. Having said that, I can see a lot of ppl order the Sar Hor Fun and it looks really good. Need to try it the next time i come here.

Bee Hooi Coffee Shop is one of my favorite dinner option when visiting Penang.
Already know this place for years, and glad to be back in July 2023, seeing most of the stall owner are well and survive after all the lockdown periods.

During my stay in Penang I come here every night and tried many kind of food, and it always delicious.
But my top choices always Fried Oyster and Char Hor Fun.
Fried Oyster owner is a very friendly couple, they are genuinely happy every time we meet. Especially this is my first visit after 3 years of pandemic. Very happy to see familiar friendly faces and having a chance tasting my favorite foods and also to know the quality of food is still as good as I remembered👍👍

My second choices will be Char Kweetiau and Kweetiau Soup or Prawn Mee.
If you have time you can also taste different kind of food until you find your favorite one. They have also Po Piah, Lor Mee, Satay, Thai Food etc. All food is delicious and affordable, every stall has it customers so that makes this place very crowded every night.
You should try also their ice coffee and ice tea with lemon, its really good and cheap.
Happy tummy happy me 😁😁

Best Penang White Curry Mee for breakfast.... 8am is a good time to come.... Very flavorful, fragrant, not too spicy, friendly cook with a sweet smile... Came here twice in a row.... Choices of meat : prawns, blood cubes or pork sausage..

Ordered hokkien mee, char koay teow and fried oyster. Perfect location for the ones that wouldn’t want to visit different places for local delicacies! “One stop solution” for local foood YUM. Personally think the char koay teow is slightly overpriced because I can get similar taste of this from Ipoh / KL bur cheaper price. They’re charging RM9 for small and RM10 for a big plate here (Also expect slow service/self service since it’s being run by an old couples). Recommended for a try but not for revisiting. Fried oyster was yum tho! RM16 with fresh oyster and quick service. Hokkien Mee small bowl but fresh prawn broth deserved to be featured

Fried koay Teow really good. Full of wok hei and everything was perfect. Two pieces of XL prawn with chinese sausage and cockles only RM9. Value for money. Taste wise WOW. 5 stars

Popiah was delicious. Adequate ingredients and all well managed. Thumbs up. 4 stars

Fried horfun was delicious. Full of wok hei. Just the broth was too diluted. 3 stars

Prawn mee was nice. Authentic taste. Slight above average. 3 stars

Fried oyster was below average. Not the style I liked. Too oily. 2 stars

Chicken rice and chicken porridgewhich a lot of local recommended. For me, taste wise just so so only. 3 stars

Wantan mee RM5 also good. QQ noodle and delicious sauce. 3 stars

Grilled chicken red wine sauce RM12 also quite delicious. Well done. 4 stars

Ban mee noodle was QQ and delicious. Unfortunately the soup was poorly done because added with pork lard and Fried onion. If the soup was clear then would be better. 2 stars

Soup of bitter gourd just so so. Below par. 2 stars

My favorite restaurant. Must eat here every time I come to Penang. My favorite dishes are: char koay teow, oysters egg, char hor fun, koay teow soup. The coffees, tea, ambula juice are must try here.

The char hor fun is the best in town, with fresh and good quality ingredients and good portion. It’s so delicious! Only RM5 per portion.

The oysters eggs is also the best in town, it’s so tasty, sweet, sour, hot, perfect!

Unfortunately when I came 2 weeks ago, the uncle vendor of char koay teow was not existing anymore, so did the auntie pasembur vendor.

I love this place, I love the food

It’s been a while since I have eaten Mee Sup KB ( Kota Belud) - Sabah

Verdict: the clear broth is very simple yet flavourful plus oil less. I recommend to those soup based lover.

There are few choices food available here but the main highlight is the Mee sup KB

Location :
This tiny lot named Mali Mee Sup KB- Sabah is located inside Bee Hooi Restaurant. If you wish to or carving for Sabah Mee Sup ( to sabahan especially ) you can come over here.

Business time :
It’s open from Sunday - Friday ( 8am- 12pm )

Would love to come here again !!

One of the better ones in Penang!

Food wise, generally taste above average and do consider to order muah chee and loh bak aside of the Oyster Omelette dish (possibly the best in Penang)

Worth noting is attentive service and the hawker were generally friendly/ warmth!

For the famous CKT at this place, the stall would only starts to operate around 6pm so do adjust your time accordingly if you plan to make a visit~

Definitely not the first and last visit to the place and Highly Recommended!

One of the best oyster omelettes in town! The lor bak was fantastic as well and surely worth a revisit. The noodles stall whips out a simple and value for money fare rich with wok hei.

There are other varieties of food here including ban mee, western food, popiah, etc.

Well worth a visit if you are in this area.
