Geriamed Subacute Hospital Care

I am very happy to share my experience with you regarding my mother's stay at your place. With your care my mother is doing very well at her residence. The nurses or attendents were very good at providing best quality service with a smile round the clock, without any bit of negligence .

I am very thankful to you for giving the best care to my mother and bringing a smile to my face . I would recommend about your concern if any elderly needs care . With that note I wish you continue your good work and help people who require your the most at the time of need .

We decided to get my elderly Dad help in regaining his strength and mobility through physio intervention after a period of hospitalization due to dengue. We were worried that if he did not get any physio intervention, his muscles especially his legs muscles will further detoriate after a prolonged stay at the hospital because he would have probably spent most of his time lying down, resting on his bed at home with minimal movement.

Today, after 2 weeks at GeriaMed, he is discharged. We are amazed with his recovery. My Dad is much more mobile and his legs strength is evidently much stronger, even compared to prior his dengue episode.

Thanks to all at GeriaMed, namely his physiotherapist and nurses who cared for him and made his recovery possible.

My 88 yo FIL was admitted to Geriamed Subacute Hospital Care center on 30/11/2023 with stroke and post-hip surgery.
After one month of rehabilitation there, his mobility has improved and able to participate in certain daily activities independently.
I am very grateful to the team of proficient physiotherapists for their dedication and expertise guidance throughout the therapy program that made a significant impact on his speedy recovery.
Also very thankful to Dr Heng and Dr Jolene who had given us their professional advises and collaborated well with the specialist doctors from hospital that treated my FIL.
Last but not least, my greatest
appreciation to Yee Von who handled all the administrative works so efficiently and never fail to fulfill all our requests.
I will not hesitate to recommend Geriamed to anyone.

My mom is just frail elderly who can walk and do her own bathing/toileting, etc. Just that I need to travel outstation for work sometimes. So I will leave mom at Geriamed. Nice place. Clean and cozy. Thumbs up.

Good physiotherapy treatment helping mild stroke patient to regain mobility in 2 months time. Overall good service for stroke patient who needs speedy recovery especially on regaining mobility and speech capability.

My dad had stay in this center for 4 months and passed away peacefully on 8/11/2023 due to various health complication like diabetic and etc . We were from the Jalan Brown Branch which eventually merge to this Center. Overall service was good ,Improvement could make was early detection of the patient wellbeing in terms of swelling, or abnormal response towards nurses and inform to family member immediately .Family of late Chan Kam Loy

Words are not enough for me to express our gratitude and gratefulness to all at Geriamed Stroke Rehabilitation Centre.
We were looking for patient centered, transition place when my mother was down with stroke. It has been weeks since my mother passed away but I just want to say a big thank you for the care and love you all (especially doctors, pharmacists, nurses and physiotherapists) showed until her last breath. A special thanks to Sean for his patience, prompt attention and understanding not forgetting Dr Ng for his empathy and patient centre care given.

My mother stayed there for about 3 months, recover and discharged few days ago. The setup there is something like a mini hospital. They have doctors, nurses, physiotherapist, pharmacist and etc. I would like to say thank you to the whole team there for taking care of my mother during the 3 months. Special thanks to Sean, and physiotherapist Rossane. Sean is a very patient guy, he always explain very details and also very prompt in replying queries even mid night. Rossane is a very patient lady, she always explain the condition of my mother and propose some small thing to buy which help my mother recovery.

My dad was staying there more a month due to half body stroke. My dad able to recover quickly due to intensive physiotherapy and the team care at Geriamed. From not able to stand more than 10 seconds with assist at first to able to climb 5 levels of stairs daily in 3 mths period. Would like to thanks Sean, Moon, Lily and her physiotherapist team and all the nurses at Geriamed for their dedicated services and care. Sean is very patient to explain in details and meet our arrangement request and also very prompt in replying queries.

My dad was admited to Geriamed after he had mild stroke. The nurses, doctors, therapist, the management team are very helpful and attentive to our needs. My dad regained back his mobility in less than a month after diligently followed the exercise program set by the physiotherapist team. Many thanks to everyone in Geriamed!

Although the charges is higher compared to other nursing homes, but it do provide the same standard with the hospital. Overall my father is satisfied with the 2-week stay.

In Pulau Tikus. Opposite of Looking Good. Patient and caring nurses and the manager. My dad had a wonderful recuperating duration with them. Able to walk after 2 months. Worth sending to them though the price is slightly high. However, it's better than getting a maid or sending to nursing home if you want the patient to recover soon. Very good!

Good place and good service from GeriaMed nurse. They've been very helpful.

Sharing my personal experiences for my post surgical rehabilitation at this subacute care home, GeriaMed, which has been my temporary comfort home for two weeks... took a picture with some of the staffs who were on duty before I left.. The staffs are very friendly that provide a very comfortable and pleasant experience during my stay.. Not only they performed their duty professionally, I also find solace in talking to some of them, such as Sister Regala, Sister Joanne,
nurse Akirah in helping me cope with my emotional management due to a mastectomy.. and also the staff nurses who checked on the patients from time to time..What an amazing team of hardworking medical and general staffs in taking care of the patients at a smaller friction of the cost compared to the charges by private hospitals... And not to forget, Sean, the GM who is a very humble and soft spoken person full of empathy in helping the patients cope with cost.. Highly recommended if you're looking for a post hospitalization care...or any health care for your loved ones..

Highly recommended for those people who looking for recovery frm injuries or stroke.My aunty was there for 18 days due to fracture of arm and leg.She wasn't able to walk and not even able to sit up from bed when she first admit into Geriamed.But after 18 days of physio therapist,now she is able to walk with walking stick and manage daily activities by herself with minimum supervision.We truely grateful that we made the right choice.We also wish to thanks all the nurses, physiotherapist Christine, Philip and Mr Sean.Thanks for their efforts, patience and hard work.
