Parking rate is ridiculous given that this is a public transportation hub for Penang mainland.

Rate is RM1 per hour. 1 day means RM24.
No special rate if you park more than a day. I parked here for 3 days to use public transportation. I ended up paying RM72 for 3 days.

How to encourage people to use public transportation when you introduce such rates.

Don't get me wrong, Penang Sentral is a wonderful project, it's the bloodsucking parking rates. For public transport services, these facilities should be made affordable for low to medium income commuters.
