Medan Selera Sri Tambang Mee Udang

A must visit place for prawn mee lover. Big premium prawn, thick gravy smokey sauce. We are lucky to be served by the relative of the owner himself, Tuan Haji Safri. A distinct difference between other prawn mee outlets is mee goreng kuah udang. They will first fry the mee and serve as fried mee. Then, they will serve prawn soup. Next, you have to mix the soup onto the fried mee. Some prefer to add in lime juice to balance the flavour. We were told that this outlet was established in 1985. There are enough parking space around.

Quite Alright overall. Please be more polite. Food is good and price is fair. Love the atmosphere, I like the food. And away from hustle and bustle. You can eat peacefully here. I wish this court stand tall with the test of Time. More diversification needed.

I've been eating here since at least 20 years ago. For me, this is the best Mee Udang that I enjoy eating. You can choose fresh prawn and can enjoy it with their signature Mee Kuah, or Nasi Goreng. Fast service too. However there is always room for improvement, I'm hoping for the best for this establishment to grow while maintaining their service quality at the same time.

I've been to this place several times. Mee udang is a must and it tastes remained the same from the 1st time I visited 10 years ago 'fresh and tasteful'. Another meal to try is nasi goreng udang which I tasted during my recent visit and it exceeded my expectations n tastefully delicious. No doubt, will continue going there for Mee udang n nasi goreng udang.

Had lunch here with family. Place open at 12pm and the mee udang is delicious with fresh prawns on site.

The shrimps are big with vein removed. Overall taste acceptable deliciousness.

Definitely the best mee udang location in Sg Dua, Penang. Big and juicy fresh prawns, plus nicely cooked based on what you prefer. We always love their mee hoon goreng as it is naturally sweet from the prawn broth that they use. Wash it down with air kelapa and it is perfect 👌

One of the better place for Mee Udang Penang. My mandatory stop on my way up or returning from the north. The Mee Udang and fried crabs is good. Always enjoy our meals. The prawns are usually greasy for the day. Prices are reasonable. Ample parking.

It is a must visit place for me everytime I came to Penang since 6 years ago. The best mee udang.

All about food with 'udang'. Coconut shake also available. The famous one is Mee Udang. Best! No proper parking lot, just park around the restaurant. Beware of the amount of udang taken. The more/bigger udang taken will result in the higher total price 😅 (just dont take too many udang). Generally, Mee Udang is the must try menu and the other menu still recommended. Service is good and fast.

Here's a trick. Order both the mee goreng udang and mee udang kuah. Pour some of the kuah onto the mee goreng for that saucier mee goreng taste. Oh, and I think the price here is pretty reasonable as you choose your price based on the number and size of prawns.
