Penang-Hat Yai
Sunday 8:30
After reading the other reviews I was worried about the upcoming trip.
But everything worked well. They send me a text the night before departure, containing the number plate of the van, the name of the driver and a confirmation of the booking. The picked me up from the hotel at 8:15 and by 8:30 sharp we left Penang. Would book with A.G. Express again, 100% recommended.

We got our bus to Cameron Highlands fine, it was quick, easy and efficient and I think a better price online . The staff here are yet to master 'service with a smile' and came across quite blunt and rude. Bus was very comfy although missing some seatbelts. All round, not too bad.

This company is a freakin joke (I won't apologise for my language here). Bought a ticket from Penang to Melaka. Told us that the bus leaves at 8:30am but the actual timing was 10:30am. 8:30am is their office time departure but 10:30am is the departure from main terminal across the island which is only 15 mins drive away. Bus was KPG express which was ok!! It took us 12 hours to reach Melaka and the man told us it takes around 7 hours. He gave us ticket for KPG express 5RM more per person than the actual price (which is ok as he is an agent). We got picked up at 8:30am from their office, first took us to another bus terminal via city express bus to change the bus and then another main terminal across the island where the original stop is. For more than 2 hours we were just roaming around Penang. I would recommend to book the ticket from the main terminal across the island or book online and go straight their via Grab. These guys give you no information and useless and their attitude is sky high. Our whole day was wasted due to these clown agents who have no information at all.

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS.
My friend and I used this company to book a bus from Penang back to Kuala Lumpur on the 9/06/16. When booking the bus the ladies at the desk reassured us we could leave our luggage (two cabin sized bags) whilst we purchased some food from within the shopping centre. Thankfully we took our valuables with us, as we soon found out items out of our bags were weirdly missing, we traced it back to this shop. There is no other way it could of happened anywhere else. After searching about this company online we found someone else's similar experience... funny isn't? This is a message to everyone, not to trust this company and hopefully we can all learn from this unpleasant experience.

Resells tickets for other companies at higher prices. Can just walk down the lane to the other shop. Tells you what you want to hear (re:buses leaving at certain times) so that you just come and wait.
