For my first malaysian meal, I was not disappointed at all. The restaurant is very cosy, the waitress was delicate and helpful and most important, food was incredible. Very good value for money !

Fantastic service, good ambiance. The staffs are always attentive and accommodating if you have any special requests. Foods are good, nothing special about the taste but they have a good presentation on their cuisines.

Professional staff, 30 min wait time during peak hour and full house. All of our main dishes tasted amazing. Probably the best chicken satay I ever had in my life. Overall, the best dining experience for authentic Malaysian cuisine in Penang

Got there at around 8pm, was crowded but got a table super fast.

Ordered pasta which I craved for a long time and it was amazing!
Fresh, perfectly cooked, the portion was huge.
Wanted to get desert but was sooo full after the dinner.
And the prices are super good. Paid 9€ for pasta and an iced tea.

Would come again!

Eating delicious food while listening to P Ramlee songs is a unique experience. Feels like in the 90ies when our parents were watching tv playing P Ramlee movies. We ordered ayam percik madu tiga and prawn lemak pineapple. Wow love it! Teh tarik is also nice. Flavourful. Will be back for sure.

My first day in Penang and I chose to come here with my bestfriend for early dinner. We chose the Ayam percik, Pan Fried Salmon and Ice Lemon tea, and I’d easily recommend it to anyone planning a visit.

1. Ayam Percik — The size of the chicken is extremely generous and the percik gravy is absolutely delicious along with the yellow rice.

2. Pan Fried Salmon — MY ABSOLUTE FAVOURITE. So so good, the salmon was cooked to perfection. Crispy on the outside and juicy and glistening on the inside. The cream sauce was extremely delicious, along with the buttered vegetables. Absolutely stellar. Also, very well priced for a salmon dish, as this would go for RM 40++ in KL.

3. Ice Lemon Tea — So light and refreshing, doesn’t taste like normal ice lemon tea, quite fragrant tasting and good level of sweetness.

This was a beautiful cafe. The decor was stunning and it maintained a cultural vibe. The food was delicious and staff so warm and obliging. Definitely a 'must visit' place!!

Very satisfied dining at Lagenda House & Cafe! I’m really impressed by the food plating. It tastes as good as it looks! We definitely enjoyed our ikan bakar and satay. My favourite would be their brownies, its really good! Place feels warm and inviting. A good place to celebrate birthdays too. Staffs were friendly and gave fair recommendations. Price was reasonable and many foods to choose from, even western food is available. Would definitely come again!

Foods are awesome! Every single dish we ordered but very pricey because of the very small portion. I won’t say the food is authentic but more of a fusion, very delicious nonetheless. Desserts are really great too! The place is a bit too packed and tight. Air circulation can be a bit of a concern.

Very nice location for a meal and a refreshing mocktail.
The waiters are very friendly and the whole atmosphere is nice.

Love their Salmon Asam Pedas - a must try, presentation is always pretty, portions are huge and I love love love the condiments that elavates the dining experience! A top choice for fusion cuisin in Penang Island.

We didn't do reservation but a staff help us until there is seat available. Ordered chicken satay and baked chicken roulade. The satay is a bit sweet but the peanut sauce is good. Chicken roulade with mashed potato was a perfect closure, great job !

Went at 5pm for early dinner. Food served was really good, dad said that it's the best indo food he's had. Do note that the servings are quite big. Staff were very warm and hospitable. Just a little noisy from above when we were dining there.

The food here is absolutely delicious totally fresh, great portions, and the staff are lovely. No alcohol so we had fresh juices.

Really great restaurant. Mainly local food with some western fusion dishes mixed in. Nothing is better than trying a fantastic dish with new flavors. Great service and presentation. Beautiful, air conditioned space, too. Even the prices were reasonable, especially for the quality of the food. Overall a perfect experience.

This is one of the best cafe in Penang. In love with everything we ordered. The pineapple masak lemak is the most delicious and special taste I've ever tasted. No regret ordering it. Highly recommended. Just for your info, the restaurant do serve plain ice water. So it's not necessary to order for drinks 😍. Overall great dining experience with nice P Ramlee song, good food and good vibes!! I will definitely return.

Great restaurant, we went in by chance and had one of the best meals we have had whilst visiting Malaysia

Delicious food, it was very fresh, hot and the wait was not too long, waiting staff were very good and focused on the guests in a busy service.

Two main meals, a side order and some dips, plus two drinks for 80 RM - I think this was very reasonable considering the great service, standard of food and the very nice atmosphere

Service and ambience was also great.
