G&C Laundry Service

Very nice lady! She accidentally gave my washbag to someone else. But she drove to the hotel of that person to get it back for me. She did so much effort. Afterwords she dropped us off at our hotel because she felt so sorry. The laundry itself, was ready on time, like she said en was very clean. Definitely recommend!

Very nice lady and great service! Only 24 hours after providing 3kg of laundry, everything was washed and folded. Nothing missing, no new clothes and no noticeable small of laundry detergent. Can highly recommend!

We've used Aunty twice whilst staying in Penang. Very efficient and our clothes smelt great. Our clothes were ready when she said they would be. We would highly recommend this business. Everything folded neatly and in bag.

We used the express service both times which is an approx 6hr turn around. The standard turn around appears to be 24hrs.

Make sure you bring your receipt for collection!

Nice laundry, just RM7/kg and you can even wash just a kg. Around 24 hours waiting time before collecting back the clothes. Everything is good except I found an extra sock there before leaving the shop and gave then back immediately.

We took advantage of this service twice while in Georgetown and cannot fault it. The wash was clean and folded and ready on schedule. The lady who runs the business was friendly. The location is on busy Lebuh Chulia.

We had alot of washing. I handed the lady our bag of washing and they also agreed to washed and dry my small back pack. I was told what time to return and the price was written on docket. Everything was washed, dried and folded in a bag and smelt very fresh. I paid the lady on my return using my docket. We would definitely recommend the service and we would return.

My first to try laundry service. The lady is friendly. We had 4 days clothes including sportswear (golf), ended up 5 kg ! As others shared, laundry came back nicely folded, cleaned and really light fragrance too, sort of warm too. We collected ours the next evening, having dropped the bag in late morning a day before.

Will use again for sure and highly recommended. As lockdown rule is relaxed, it is opened 0930 hour to 1900 hour now. No parking in front of the shop but if one can drop off the laundry while another in car, a quick stop is possible.

Price has gone up slightly to 7 Ringgit per KG and will be rounded up.

Lady works alone all day so theres no need to give her a hard time like the other privileged 1-Star reviewers.

She will wash, dry and fold your clothes neatly, while staying open past closing time to ensure your clothes are done and picked up on the same day if dropped off early.

The auntie that runs this place is wonderful :) she’s spicy and funny and your laundry is always done when she says it be - and done well. Prices are 7 rm per kg. Very reasonable.

Lovely owner, very friendly and efficient. We took and paid for our laundry and it was delivered to our hotel the following day, all very clean and fresh, beautifully folded. Definitely recommend this place

My family used G&C a couple of times during 20-26 Dec 22. George Town was insanely busy and the lovely owner was ran off her feet - working really long hours. Despite this, the service was great.

Excellent same day laundry service. They know what to iron and deliver a same day solution. Good value. I found this service reliable and will be using again. Beware opening times are 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Do not get caught out.

Excellent service, we had our flight moved meaning we were unable to pick up our clothes at the time given. We asked if we could get them sooner and she washed them for us right away, staying passed her closing time for us.

A modest pile of laundry for a backpacker like me was 9RM, which is a pretty good price for convenience.

The laundry was folded and packaged in plastic all neat and tidy.

Dropped the laundry off on a Saturday and was told to pick it up on Monday since they are closed on Sunday. That’s very fair, I showed up before their day off. It was done on Monday morning as per their promise.

The google location on maps is a little off by... 25 or so Meters. Look around that area since it can easily be missed. I originally thought they had closed shop but only later I had stumbled upon them.

The woman is super kind and washed dried and ironed four kg in less than 24 hours... If u need she Keep open the shop extra hours... Great
