Nice place to hang out and have a cup of coffee. Nice ambience and environment inside the coffee shop, a get away from the hot weather outside. Seems to be quite popular with tourists. Located along Chulia Street, just next door to Rockafellas Bar.

Great Specialty Coffee options. Also medium and darker roasts, not just light. Fantastic service. If you look for something extra in quality. This is it.

Went for hand drip coffee while passing by. The staffs are very friendly and will explain clearly to you. Given different cups for you to taste the coffee,nice service. Chill and relaxing environment,will definitely go back again when I visit Penang.

Perfect place for a coffee. Especially if you are a fan of the drip coffees, like V60. Many beans to choose from and crew is very professional and helpful.
The coffee was very tasty and the price was good - around 18 RM for a drip coffee and 10 RM for a latte).

Been a regular customer to this shop for sometime. Had beans from different roasteries but coffee lane bean is exceptional, so we need to ensure we have the stock regularly to taste their espresso/lattes.

As prosumer espresso POV, this is definitely worth checking and one of the gem place you should try. They have variety bean to cater your preference and will educate you in getting bean that you prefer. I myself learn a lot from the staff. Also, you can ask information on brewing reference for you to do. I love their passion and perspective that educate people to understand the know-hows and aroma profiling. It’s always a good chat with them. And those you outside island, they provide to send your goods via courier.

Ordered pour over coffee and the tasting note could be tasted thanks to the barista.

You can also buy different beans back home to brew.

Good aromatic coffee, quaint little interior. Ordered the classic and aromatic roasted snow black that are both smooth and creamy. Good place to chill and relax and seek refuge from the heat outside.

Really good cafe and they give you the choice of beans. They also have a really good espresso machine.

Have already been back a few times in my short stay in Georgetown.

Coffee Lane is a coffee lover's paradise. Tried the Snow Black and Iced Drop Coffee, both boasting amazing taste and gorgeous flavors. The experience was so good, we couldn't resist buying two bags of beans for takeaway. With medium prices and a definite desire to return, it's an enthusiastic 5 stars from me! ☕🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Ham and cheese toast was ok.

We are here for morning coffee and to try out the beans. We like “New Wave Sweet” beans. We didn’t have any cake so no comments on that. Recommend for the coffee and their friendly service.

My friend and I were searching for a cafe where it serves the sponge cake with ice cream during our visit at Penang (we didn't know the cafe's name as we only saw a photo of it posted in FB). Otw going back to work from lunch, we stumbled this cafe and noticed the background of the cafe is similar to the photo posted in FB. Thus, we went in and ask the cafe's staff.

This cafe indeed served sponge cake with ice cream! However, the pandan cake were only available on Friday. We had the orange sponge cake & cempedak cheesecakes. The cakes were delicious and coffee were aromatic. I think they also sell coffee beans as they got roastery inside the cafe.

We then went back to this cafe on Friday for the pandan sponge cake + ice cream. Didn't disappoint us! Totally come back for its sponge cake & coffee! Cozy yet chill cafe.

The drinks from both coffee and non-coffee were so nice. Coffee doesn’t smell too strong and has a fruity scent. Unfortunately on the day we came, they didn’t have many available options for tea. But the rest of the menu was good enough.
Their homemade cake tasted wonderful and was really cheap 😂.
Service was really quick with friendly staffs, they also know well about coffee beans so as to fulfill any request from coffee-holics. The shop has free water for customers and not very noisy, which makes us feel comfortable not matter how long we stay 🥰.

Food n coffee is great with reasonable price. Open space Parking is available 3-4 min walk. Good to chill up with friends n family for morning or afternoon tea.

I got the flat white (medium roast) and an egg mayo sandwich. The coffee was superb. The roast was strong indeed and I loved the fruity notes in my flat white! The sandwich was double the proportion I expected it to be. The vibes were lovely and honestly so worth the price!! Will come back again defo :)

Was trying to buy some coffee beans to try. Shop assistant was very helpful in selection of coffee beans and even offered to let me try 2 types of beans using espresso. Gave 2 coffee drips to try too Thank you for the kind help.

Update: brewed espresso on my machine and got below results. Beans are fresh as evident from crema and taste is as described by shop assistant.

Good coffee. I ordered the iced cappu classic roasted and mocha. Quench my thirst for sure

I’ve tried 4 different coffee shops so far in George Town (not including Starbucks) and this one by far has the best coffee. Make sure to try their specialty coffee, It’s really good. Probably not the best place for getting work done because of how relatively small it is. However, It’s a perfect place for a quick morning or afternoon coffee fix. The staff are super nice as well and will walk you through the different kinds of coffee they have with patience.

Ordered a filter coffee and ice dripped coffee (this one feels like drinking whiskey) 😂

The coffee is nice and the ambience is great too. Just feel like chilling here with a cup of nice coffee.
