First of all this cafe is spacious! My friend and I just walked in and we are being shown to a seat right away. The server is polite and attentive. This is more of a drinks and desserts cafe. Snacks are served but there is limited main courses.

We ordered nachos with cheese dip, fruits jelly cake, iced rose latte, chocolate shake. The fruits jelly cake is very refreshing and has a variety of fruits. Nachos are crispy too. I like my iced rose latte. The chocolate shake is quite rich and creamy: perfect for those looking for a thicker taste.

We saw the interesting Melon cake but didn't try. We didn't see the watermelon cake being served though just now around 4pm. Last time here I like the watermelon cake as well.

Overall a nice and chill cafe. Would be back to try their other items.

Nice place to chill, good to have a drink. I like the environment with unique design. Gula Melaka waffle is slightly too sweet. Cafe Latte with rose which I not use to it the taste.

The moment I pushed open the old heavy wooden door, I thought I travelled back in time with the traditional Chinese architecture that features solid wood handcraft furniture and rustic interior.
Good vibe, cold air cond, spacious and cosy dining atmosphere.

Ordered a latte that came in jumbo cup size and a decent taufu cake.

An unique heritage cafe in Georgetown. For cafe lovers and Instagrammers this is a spot you need to check out. They serve good coffee and cakes. A place worth check out and chill out in Georgetown. Highly recommended.

The Carnarvon Street area in Penang has undergone huge changes from the old days when it was a street known for getting three things - School books, School uniforms, items relating to the afterlife (coffins, praying materials etc.) Today, some of the old bookshops are still in existence. The praying materials are still there (albeit the casket shops have all disappeared), and newer coffee retreats are popping up as well.

One such hidden retreat is located in Prangin Lane, just about 100m off from Carnarvon Street. Offering modern coffee creations and snacks in a remodelled heritage house, you might not even notice it unless you are searching for it along Prangin Lane.

There is parking along Prangin Lane and the surrounding streets, but it can be laborious searching for it sometimes, especially during weekdays.

I am truly impressed by the owners of this cafe, not wanting to rid the house of its heritage feel, by keeping the original front doors and various building facades. The air well, however, has been covered, but more for keeping the rain out.

I must say that the cafe offers many opportunities for social media junkies to take their photos there, and while I was there, I did see a few groups of young men and women going in and out, taking photos at various points in the cafe.

The food and drinks offered is reasonably priced, and, though I did not sample the food, the drinks are meticulously prepared.

I liked the ambience, and it was a good afternoon spent with old friends, chatting over a cuppa while the air-conditioning provided a respite to the heat outside.

It's a nice place to hang out, surrounded by at least a hundred years of history. But be prepared to walk a bit should parking prove elusive.

All Staffs are very excellent service and super friendly. The fruits jelly cake super refreshing and tea smell so good.

Nice ambience cafe with a wide selection of drinks (coffee etc), sliders are superb 👍🏻 love the internal deco and view. Can be a chilling afternoon snack or good catch up location. Only downside is difficult to find parking.

Hawaiian Pizza is very worthy, good portion with cheap price and lots of toppings. Waffles are good too, but it's not crispy. Rose Latte taste good too, the aroma of coffee and the smell of rose blended very well.
Nice ambient. Good for gossiping lol.

Highly recommended and very satisfied with the dessert here... looking for dessert after dinner and found this Cafe on Facebook. The environment, the ambience, the food, the drink.. everything is just perfect..the price also reasonable and worth the quality!

Beautiful ambience and super insta worthy! We were torn between our drinks and taking photos! A definite must go for coffee lovers, foodies and insta-glam seekers!

I am in love with the iced cappuccino!! I've never tasted one that's as good in Penang. I've been looking all over for a great iced cappuccino. And the cakes? No words. Great great great!!!

The cakes are quite expensive but worth every penny. We ordered a few slices of fruit jelly cakes just now. The sweetness is just nice and the fruits are very fresh.

Cooling and shaded from heat! Recommended specialty dimsum is good 👍🏼 and flavourful.

Some of the best dimsum I have ever eaten. Veggie spring rolls are amazing too. You are missing out if you don’t come here! 5 stars all round. 💚

Their tables are spaced out enough for proper social distancing. Great waffles and pizza!
