One of our favourite Korean places in Penang. The drinks are amazing, especially the Negroni and the Hanjan Sling. The meat platter is a must try, the kkomak muchim cockles are amazing and this place has one of the best japchae in town as well.

Just happened to come across Hanjan during our first night in George Town. Amazing place!!

Cocktails are absolutely delicious. We very much enjoyed the Lychee soju mojito and Korean yuzu sour. Besides the cocktails, also amazing dishes (try the donkatsu)and bites to complement the drinks.

We came here for drinks and were blown away by the flavors! We had never had soju (Korean rice liquor), and we loved our cocktails made with them. My lychee mojito was beautifully balanced between the lime tartness and lychee sweetness. Other cocktails were very inventive, especially the Hanjan Negroni, made with soju and finished with a smoking cinnamon stick. Prices are great, especially compared to the speakeasies we tried in the last several days. Only a block away from Campbell House, on Lebuh Campbell.

2 pax set dinner is quite big portion. Taste good and staff are super helpful and friendly. Good place for dinner. Definitely will come again. =)

A former goldsmith shop that has been turned into an eatery and a bar,with beautiful decorative walls ,good food ,good drinks,good for get togethers on a Friday after a long day at work,before the weekend,accompanied by a 2 piece band performed music

Must visit bar. Found this gem because we wanted to drink Makgeolli. And without doubt is the best I could find in Georgetown. Owner and staffs are nice and friendly. Food wise, the ones we ordered were delicious. The buldak is a must have.

Good experience on the cocktail especially the whiskey sour

My companion and I decided to give it a try, and we certainly have no regrets! From the moment we stepped inside, we were captivated by the delightful ambiance and warm hospitality.

The highlight of our dining experience was undoubtedly the Jogae Clams. The clams were cooked to perfection, and the broth was incredibly rich and flavorful. Each spoonful was a burst of satisfaction, leaving us with no choice but to savor every last drop. It was truly a treat for our taste buds.

Beyond the exquisite food, this place boasts an impressive selection of cocktails. We were delighted by the variety and creativity of the drink menu. Whether you prefer something classic or enjoy exploring unique concoctions, there is something to suit every palate. The mixologists here certainly know their craft.

During our visit, we had the pleasure of chatting with the owner, William, who exuded an infectious passion for his establishment. It was evident that William takes immense pride in his establishment, and his dedication reflects in every aspect.

One of the best food experiences we've had. Also a superb ambience. A must do while in Penang. Have recommended to all family and friends who travel there and they all have loved it!
