Service is attentive and good. Nice location as the restaurant is on the beach, best to start dinner at around 630 and watch the sun go down. Very smart of them not to out price themselves compared to nearby seafood restaurants.

Amazing sea food specially the fresh dishes (grilled sea bass , lobster, prawns..). Didn't like the fried dishes that much.. Loved the water melon juice.. Nice lively area for kids

Good variety of dishes, some dishes not available in Singapore. Priced reasonably. Waiting time was decent, given there were many patrons at dinnertime. Service staff was polite and attentive to our requests.

Dine in only if you are comfortable that the restaurant is not certified halal and beer is served. Staff assured that the food is halal though.

Food here are so fresh and delicious. We was served in 15mins after ordered, so quick. Clean and relaxing environment with music and singing. Shout out to their cocktail too!

You do not have to be staying at Lotus Resort to eat here. We came from elsewhere a tad early, 5:20 for dinner. Salad, appetiser, 2 fancy non alcoholic drinks, then a large main, a small main, and a side. All of it well presented and very good. Price was acceptable. You could not pick but the entire food package and service was superior. Seeing the people and the water was great while eating. The seats and layout could be updated but serviceable.

Lotus Seafood Restaurant is situated within the Lotus resort, together with other restaurants within the Lotus brand.

As the restaurant name suggests, wide variety of seafood dishes, with the signatures being lobsters and crabs. They sell both local and Australian lobsters, but the price points are pretty similar (2 MYR difference per kg). Overall, the dishes taste good, and can be considered our favourite eatery in our Desaru trip.

Gets crowded towards the evening, especially with a beautiful view beside the restaurant, so head over early to get the best seats!

Beautiful sea facing restaurant, with the freshest seafood and good value. The kam heong crab and chuchi prawns were delicious. The tom yum and pandam chicken were good too.

Great seafood with seaside view! The service is really fast. Waiters will run to bring collect and bring the dishes to you during peak hours. Good to come early. Seafood is fresh! All the dishes are really good!! Will be back to try their lobsters.

Very nice food and good service. Would definitely come back again. All the seafood are very fresh. Price is so good too. One crab is like 85RM only… I love the breeze in the evening, and the huge grass playground for babies to run and play. There are even an uncle spread the bubbles for babies to play. Good experience in Desaru.

Great view and very clean restaurant. Ample room parking space and very well secured by security.
Live lobsters are small so we opted for a bigger one at 600g each but its not live. Turned out to be really fresh and delicious.

My little girl took alot of the fried rice, so I guess it is good as well. Staffs are very well mannered and went thru with me the price before we ordered. I'm usually careful when menu is written "market price".

Decent taste of the food, not fantastic but portion is big! All dishes is small size, lobster around 550grams cost RM181.50. The vibe is good, very windy.

First time dine-in experience here. Very impressive. As soon as we arrived, we were greeted by the receptionist at the counter and escorted to our seats.

Menu was handed over and orders taken. Dishes were served on our table within 10 minutes.

The view of the sea was breathtaking from where we were seated. They surprised us with delicious meal.

Great seafood at reasonable price. I am not a tom yam fan, but I like theirs, all flavours are well mixed and balanced. Many non-hotel guests from outside come for dinner. Arrived late, most likely you need to wait to get seat.

Food was unexpectedly amazing! Decent price with generous portion. We ordered mostly the small ones to feed about 6 of us.

Arrived for dinner, the restaurant is pretty deep in, we have to cut through the lobby follow by a cafe then a field then only we reached the restaurant.

Nice environment, nice ambient, dine by the beach and there’s a live band soloist singing and playing his guitar.

Although it’s outdoor, unlike certain restaurant I dine at in Desaru, there’s no flies buzzing around during our dinner.

Very fresh, we can taste the caramelised butter and garlic in it. It comes with fries. Enjoyed this dish.

salted egg yolk crab 5 ⭐
Very fresh as well, goes well with the salted egg yolk sauce. Eventually we dipped the calamari with the sauce as well

Chicken fried rice 5⭐
My son enjoyed the fried rice, he’s very picky eater. As much as he enjoyed something and finishes it, it practically means it’s very yummy.

The batter isn’t what I expected, but overall it’s still nice and fresh.

Sambal kang kong 5⭐

Overall, most importantly it’s the freshness of the seafood that determines the overall rating.

Highly recommends the FooYong Egg and Fried Seafood Bee Hoon! The sweet sour chicken and claypot bean curd were also good. Steam rice was basmati rice.
Nice beach view. Entrance is not facing the beach, need to walk over grass. Food didn't took long to be served.

Their tomyam is always very nice. We ordered hokkien mee , although it doesn't taste like hokkien mee, but it's a very delicious fried noodle. Food & ambience all 👍

Wide variety for menu. Nice breezy ambience by the beach. Tasty food. Must order the satay!

Good food and super good price. Portion is huge and a solid Seaview. Love it.

The food is very good. Highly recommend to try the Tom Yum, the flavor is rich in coconut milk.
