Sedap giler! The level of spiciness is power and I love it. If you are not a spicy food lover or weak at tastebuds skip this. If you can take Indonesian sambals, Thai spicy food and South Korean crazy spicy noodles - this is right for you. And it’s good price for RM3. Recommended!

The Nasi Lemak kiosk at Sri Weld food court is a delectable delight at an affordable RM3, making it a standout in the market.
Despite recent price increases and government service tax, the owner's commitment to offering this flavorful dish at a reasonable cost deserves applause. This budget-friendly gem has rightly earned its place in the Michelin Star, showcasing not only culinary excellence but also a commendable gesture towards patrons who seek authentic, affordable Malaysian cuisine.
Various of choices to choose as combination - traditional anchovies with egg, fish, salted fish with egg, squid, prawn or chicken, all for the same price despite the ingredient.

We bought this Michelin list nasi lemak for take away. The nasi lemak biasa is just RM 3 but packed with a delicious spicy kick. After a while the spiciness settles in the stomach making you want to eat more. The nasi lemak is freshly packed too. Next time we will try to dine in.

One of the best one Michelin star nasi lemak around and it is just RM3 per packet.

There are 6 flavours to choose from and I have tried them all. Beware, the chilli is very spicy but this adds to the flavour. Rice is fragrant and soft, chilli is hot and strong and the ingredients adds the extra layering to it.

Bad thing is portion is small but cheap. So get 2-3 packets to fill your stomach.

We read and watched YouTube videos on this. Although many claimed that the chili is very spicy, we like it this way.

The rice was very fragrant and nice.

The price makes it so much more appealing.

Before visiting the Penang Peranakan Mansion, we tried the Michelin-recognized Nasi Lemak Daun Pisang, just 300 meters away from the mansion.

We had the Nasi Lemak Ikan Bilis & Egg. It was very tasty and a bit spicy. The portion size was quite small, but it was worth the price of only RM 3.5.

Ali Nasi Lemak Daun Pisang is located in a hawker center, and we also ordered some drinks and pancakes, which were quite good. The stall was very busy, with a constant stream of people buying Nasi Lemak in the morning.

The experience was satisfying, and the food was delicious.

Nasi lemak is good but is not recommended for.kids as the spicy level is extreme. Overall good experience

Nice Nasi Lemak. It is a bit more spicy though!

The Michelin-rated Ali Nasi Lemak is nice and of a healthy portion (albeit a tad spicy), and very affordable at RM2.50 a pack, which is why it’s so popular with the office workers at the many banks along Beach Street.

There are many flavors available, including the plain one with half an egg as well as those with Fish, Prawn, and Sotong but I just went for the standard one - which has a sizable serving of rice and condiments, making it very worth it for the price!

Ali Nasi Lemak

Located at the entrance of the Sri Weld Food Court along Lebuh Pantai, George Town, Penang, Malaysia, is the Ali Nasi Lemak Daun Pisang stall. As the name implies, it is Nasi Lemak wrapped in banana leaf.

The stall operates on Mondays to Fridays from 7.00am to 2.00pm, Saturdays from 7.00am to 1.00pm and closed on Sundays. It is a grab and go stall. No worries. There are tables inside the food court. But you need to order a drink. Otherwise, you will be charged RM1 per person for just sitting at the table.

The long queue even before the stall opens at 7.00am every morning is clear testimony of its popularity and success. The stall offers six varieties. Anchovies and half boiled egg, chicken, squid, prawn, fish and salted fish. Do not look for roasted peanuts and sliced cucumbers found in traditional nasi lemak - there are none. The stall specialty is the aromatic and coconutty rice generously capped with very hot and spicy sambal (chili paste). All the six variations of nasi lemak are priced at RM2.50 per pack. Relatively cheap.

According to locals, the stall has been around for decades and has been a must try nasi lemak haven for locals and visitors. The nasi lemak is definitely delicious and exceptional. The portion is not very large. You will finish up the Nasi Lemak after 5 tablespoons. Not a surprise then to see patrons buying more than 1 (I saw one who had 3 Nasi Lemak for himself) to satisfy their appetite. And also, not a surprise that Ali Nasi Lemak Daun Pisang has received a spot in the Michelin Guide quite recently.

The fragrant coconut rice was perfectly cooked, accompanied by rich and spicy sambal. Do note that their nasi lemak is more spicy compared to others. They also have several choices of nasi lemak. Highly recommended to go for anchovies and hard-boiled eggs.

Came in about 1pm and the Ali Nasi Lemak stall was full of Nasi Lemak packets packed in 🍌 🌿 and there was no queue!

For RM2.5 I think this is a great deal and of great taste. Sambal definitely has a kick both immediately and an after taste, but who doesn't like a 🔥 sambal 😋❤?

Located at a Food Court, so other options are available as well 😀.

Small stall with simple banana leaf wrapped nasi lemak. That’s great as a snack! Amazing flavors both the coconut rice and the spicy sambal. There are a few flavors, basically different proteins.

There was a short queue that very quickly came to our turn. At RM 2 it’s such a bargain.

Yum!! We ate so fast that we almost forgot to take a picture :-) We tried their nasi lemak with anchovies & egg, chicken, and salted fish and the one with anchovies & egg was a clear winner! It is full of flavour, spicy and delicious!

Still one of the best nasi lemak in Penang, which sambal is real deal spicy and not sweet. You get to choose to have these nasi lemak with anchovies, fish, squid or shrimp. Just rice, sambal and condiment in one pack but it taste good. Price slightly increased nowadays

It's delicious and cheap! We love the spicy and tangy taste. You can always find a queue lining to buy packets of Nasi Lemak. 🚶🏼‍♀🚶🏼‍♂🚶🏼‍♀

They only sell simple packets of Nasi Lemak, there's no need for any fancy gimmick. It comes in 5 flavours.

Parking Situation: Private parking available at Sri Weld RM3 per hour. Otherwise, hard to find parking.

It's hard to find parking around Beach Street. Drive-thru with DROP instead. Save time when you takeaway.
