Food was good but not super extraordinary.
Wantan noodles was superb 👍🏽, Char Kuey Teow was okay 👌🏽 , but Dim sum was bit dry.

Overall not a bad place to hang out with family and friends.

Suttera Restaurant was an absolute delight! Every dish was incredibly delicious, especially the spring rolls and dim sums!The service and ambiance were fantastic too. I can’t wait for another visit!

I opted for the Dry Chilli Chicken accompanied by rice, a dish that tantalized the taste buds with its fiery zest, balanced harmoniously by the sweet undertones of mango chutney. My spouse chose the Masak Lemak Cili Api, which she found to be utterly delectable. Additionally, the Spaghetti Meatballs we ordered were cooked to perfection, showcasing a delightful blend of flavors.

A minor caveat to note is the limited parking availability, a common scenario on Penang Island. Alternative parking may necessitate a brief walk to the restaurant.

Despite this, the restaurant stands out as a sterling choice for a fine dining experience, promising both culinary satisfaction and a charming atmosphere.

Sutera Restaurant in Penang is a fantastic choice! Located in the heart of George Town, Sutera offers a delightful blend of Malaysian and Chinese cuisine. We tried Char Kuey Teow, Mac and Cheese, Buttermilk Chicken with rice and Buttermilk clam with mantao. Everything taste so delicious, and the portion is indeed generous, worth the price. Sutera provides a cozy ambiance and friendly staff make it a perfect spot for both locals and tourists. Will come again next time we visit Penang

This is one of the best fusion food places in Georgetown. Apart from the delicious meals, the ambiance and decor are truly delightful.

The atmosphere feels cozy, the meals are reasonably priced (although slightly on the higher side), and the staff are warm and friendly.

When it comes to getting there, I prefer using an e-hailing service as parking can be challenging.

Superb delicious Halal restaurant!! Variety of choice from Local, Western, even includes Dim Sum!!! Now become my pocket restaurant! We orders Sutera Western platters and Masak Lemak Cili Api Chicken. Both taste excellent! Will come back!

This restaurant did not disappoint! All the food is so yummy and I definitely recommend the buttermilk with mantou, chicken chop and the ayam masak lemak! Service and atmosphere is great as well. Will definitely come here again~

Salmon fried rice, dimsum, kwetiauw, passionfruit lemon, and teh tarik, all good. Recommended for lunch n dinner.

My sister and i decided to dine here because of their food selection, since they have quite a variety of local foods menu and we are very satisfied with our ordered food.

Their wantan noodles is perfectly balanced, and their noodles still retain the qq’ness. I also ordered buttermilk clam with mantou and jiu hiu char spring rolls.

Mantou are crisp on the outside and soft in the inside. It goes really well with buttermilk clam. Although i preferred if the buttermilk gravy can be much thicker, but the taste is already delicious and spicy.

Spring rolls with jiu hiu char is unique. Never thought that dried cuttlefish with jicama would be a very good filling for spring rolls. I usually have it with rice.

Do visit Sutera and try their food. There will be something for everyone.

Seriously good food here. The ginger steam sea bass comes with sides tt u hv to eat together. The flavour blends well. Drink with lemongrass tea.. So shiok ah

One of the best fusion food place that we frequent. Apart from the delicious meals, the ambience and decor are really pleasant.

Always opt for the spicy seafood carbonara here, cant go wrong. The gravy is tasty, the portions are huge, more of seafood galore!

The smoked duck pasta is pretty amazing too! They are chunky yet succulent.

The best food in Penang. You must try it! Poetry, refined in every detail. The service is very nice and talking to the cook made us feel very special. We will definitely come back here again and thank you very much.

Firstly, the service was really good! The staff served us right when we walked in and made sure we each had our own menus. Secondly, the food was served really fast and of course delicious. The portions were also bug so we were all very full and satisfied in the end. Thirdly, the atmosphere is pleasant and very peaceful. There were many aesthetic decorations that fit the atmosphere. I definitely will recommend this restaurant for thise that want a fusion of malay, western and chinese food.

Walked into this place via its back door. (Got 'lost' at Lebuh Armenian) Sutera...hmmm... Ms Afaf directed us to a quaint 4 seater by the main door. She explained to me patiently their speciality. Ok, we ordered Prawn Masak Lemak Cili Api (rice), Chicken Aglio Olio Pasta and Chilli Beef Corn Pasta. Drinks: Passionate Sour Ice Tea, Mix Berries Fizz and The Phoenix Dream (Watermelon Lychee with Peach Syrup). VERDICT:
For the VERY first time, my youngest man child gave me one word 'WAIT!' when I asked to taste her aglio olio after she continously taunted us with how good it tasted.
I would not do the 3 dishes we ordered any justice by writing about how good they tasted. YOU HAVE TO EXPERIENCE IT YOURSELF!

Great place to eat while in George Town!

We ordered the butter milk chicken, Dim Sum platter and Wan Tan Mee, which were very flavourful. Food was served at an appropriate pace; and service was all-round really good.
