I'm very particular for CKT and having tasted many CKT before, CKT wasn't my main food to look for this time round, I'm glad to have this CKT and I must say it's awesome, better than before.

Great wok hey and hot, nice chilli (not so spicy, just nice), not too dry nor wet, egg cooked at good timing, siham (cockles) and prawn may be small/tiny in size but blended well.

I'm sure the uncle is a CKT master with enough kungfu 👍🙂

Went to Kimberly St wanting to try the famous duck kway chap but it wasn't opened even though they were supposed to open that day. Then good fortune came when we decided to eat dinner at this unassuming coffeeshop. The oyster omelette was out of the world and reversed out any expectation that I had from eating this dish. The perfect balance of egg and starch. Every bite of the oyster came with depth, unlikely the scattered texture that we know. Best I ever eaten.
The satay was standard except that the satay sauce was good and elevate the whole experience to the next level.
Bualonglong is good with the right balance of savoring the fruit and sweetness.

Staff from all the stalls are friendly regardless of whether you order from them.

Coffee shop decor is very old school. Dont expect too much.

The char kway teow in front of this shop taste very good, better than the tiger one. Long queue after 6pm, come earlier to avoid waiting. Tried the fried oysters as well, taste standard with reasonable price.

99 Penang Laksa one of the stalls at this coffee shop. The laksa was very good. The cook took his time to prep and ready the laksa noodles. The noodles were springy! The laksa soup was a bit on the salty side but still good. Garnishing also generous. Served with prawn paste. Very happy with my meal.

Stumbled upon this coffee shop near our accommodation and decided to give it a try. Turned out to be a great decision as the food was delicious and satisfying.

The coffee shop offered a wide variety of traditional Penang and Malaysian cuisine, including char kway teow, oyster omelette, satays, bak kut teh, penang laksa, chicken rice, hokkien mee, porridge and popiah. We tried several dishes and they all tasted yummy.

Aside from the food, the green apple juice that we ordered was too sweet for our taste as it contained added sugar.

Overall, this coffee shop was a great start to our Penang trip, and we were pleased to have tried the dishes. The stalls and dishes offered were diverse and catered to different tastes, making it a perfect stop for any foodie

Just ordered the penang laksa. Way different from the traditional laksa I used to eat which to me is spicy. Here, there is a unique taste, most significantly the ingredients I found surprising, pineapple slices, and cucumber. Literally, sweet and sour, but once tasted, gets you at right balance. Never had this type before, and for some could be a hit or miss, but definitely worth one to try for yourself. Also ordered the spring roll, but was premade on display only ok for me.

The chee cheong fun is the star during the day. The prawn paste and the chili paste is just right. You'd know it's popular when locals come and order packs to takeaway.
