Friendly Market

I was surprised by the selection for a small covenience store. They even have an extensive supply of pharmacy items. The prices were slightly higher than those. Of a supermercado but, then, it is not where you do a major shopping trip. The store was very clean and the shelves and displays very attractive. Many small markets have produce that looks to be less than fresh but all of the vegetables looked very nice. As you might expect from the name, the people are indeed friendly.

The market is great for a quick stop for essentials. What really sets this little market apart is the restaurant in the C-train outside. Try the Arroz con Leche. It is superb!

Great little place … always there when you need something

Great locally owned neighborhood market. They have alcohol which the Oxxo across the street does not.
