"Fantastic experience for families! The kid's club at this resort is unparalleled. My children were enamoured with their teachers; they couldn't stop talking about them! The staff's dedication and warmth truly made our stay memorable. It's rare to find such a well-managed and engaging kids' program. We were able to relax and enjoy our vacation knowing our little ones were in such good hands. Highly recommend this resort for families!" the kid club hours are 9:30 am - 10:00 pm!!wow

We had problems the first day and a half with not being able to get into our room with our card, we had to call maintenance to unlock it with a laptop when we wanted in which was a bit inconvenient. The facilities were well kept and the breakfast buffet was awesome. The other food there was kinda so so, I was excited for some seafood but all of it smelt like bait to me and didn't taste the best either, the drinks were fantastic and the service on the beach was the best. When we were there the whales were passing by and we loved being on the beach watching them.

One of the most stunning and amazing resorts I've ever stayed at. The staff were friendly and there were so many options for meals. My only negative is that the dinner meals at the restaurants are quite small. Lunches (eg. Chicken nachos at Peninsula by the water) were fine and breakfasts were buffet style (all you can eat) - but the two dinners I had here (lasagna at the Italian restaurant and Yellow chicken curry at Peninsula; see attached photos) were disappointingly small. Luckily the dessert was also included (with the all-inclusive package). The gym is great too - with a variety of free weights, benches, 2x smith machines and a range of cardio and pin load machines for every muscle. I just wish there was somewhere selling a protein drink or something at the resort - even a vending machine at the gym selling protein bars, snacks, pre-workout and protein shakes would be fine. I'd happily pay for it! Otherwise, thank you for a great stay!

We went on a group incentive work trip. The food was good and drinks were great. The best part was the service. Noticeable pride and attention to detail. I have been to several resorts in Mexico. This resort sets the bar higher. Thanks for a great experience!

Unfortunately, there is not a higher rating than five stars for the service because this place deserves 10. We have stayed at many all inclusive hotels in Mexico, and this place does not only say they give good service. They actually deliver it. There were a couple of things I would recommend you know before you book here. And much depends on your trip. The main pool and restaurants are all on first- fourth floor (property spread across the side of a hill). Many of the villas are up the side of the mountain, but they provide golf carts that take you up and down, but you may want to ask before you get your room assigned to know your location. Also, there are four different phases of buildings from one to four. Four being the newest of the rooms which are very nice. Just things to consider, I’ve included some pictures of our room in the phase 4, which is the villa room. Love this place.

It's our family's first time in Cabo and we enjoyed it q lot! The resort is all inclusive with quite a few really good restaurants and pools. We like the sushi restaurant a lot. They also offer good entertainment, activities and shows. The kids club is great so we can leave our kid with them during the day for a few hours and enjoy some adult time. All in all a very good vacation spot!

We stayed here for a week in January. Had a great time with the family. The activities manager kept our son entertained with pickle ball. (I think his name was Roberto?...but I'm not sure) the staff is SUPER friendly. Rooms are fine. The beds were too soft and hurt our backs but we had a nice view. There's some excellent food to be had as well. Lots of activities (tequila tasting, karaoke, etc) Overall we had an amazing time here.

The only real complaint is that the hot tubs were not working the entire time we were there.

We just returned from the Grand Fiesta Americana for our honeymoon and we had an absolutely amazing time. We fully enjoyed our stay 100% and can not recommend staying there enough.

Some highlights:
The food:
-We really enjoyed the food options, including the room service options for breakfast and dinner. 98%+ of the food on the resort is included in the all inclusive, it is very clear what would be an additional cost, and for most of the restaurants the entire menu was included
-There is no reservation system- all of the restaurants were first come, first serve. This has been a point of frustration for us in the past at other resorts, where we had to wait at either 6p or 10:30p to eat, but this was not an issue at Grand Fiesta. We only had to wait for a table at the sushi restaurant and they gave us a buzzer so that we could go grab a drink or walk around the resort until our table was ready.

The beach/ocean:
-We were able to watch humpbacks spout, breach, and tail slap throughout our stay.
-Just off the beach, the snorkeling was wonderful. The resort had gear to borrow, but we always bring our own and used them daily.
-The staff on the beach was wonderful and set-us up with an umbrella when needed to protect us from the sun.

The staff:
-Everyone working at Grand Fiesta was wonderful, they took such good care of us throughout our stay and we enjoyed our time with them.

The events:
-We enjoyed the nightly events at the Grand Fiesta during our stay. The Mexican Show was a particular highlight. We also had a great time at the Mario Kart tournament watching the kids compete and even playing ourselves.

We did use the pools, we found that most of them were a bit cold for us, but we travelled in January. If we would have gone in warmer months, they would have been a welcomed relief from the heat.

We are also an LGBTQ+ couple who felt comfortable and welcomed throughout our stay.

Overall, if you are looking to travel with your kids, or without, we'd recommend Grand Fiesta, especially if you enjoy the beach and a variety of food options.

I am editing my original review as it was done after day 1. As our trip comes to an end I am beyond impressed by the hotel and especially its staff. The location was so private and felt remote. Everything was clean and food was really good.

First time in Mexico & WOW can’t say enough about this place!!!! My boyfriend and I came here for a wedding that I was in along with many other people in the wedding party, and all I can say is they did an amazing job serving every single guest. The rooms were so very nice, pool bars, ocean in view, very clean, food was amazing!!!! Would most definitely recommend to families or people of any age really! There are sooooo many things they offer to do there. Deep sea fishing, snorkeling, rent out jet skis, dinner boat rides with bars, kayaking, parasailing & so much more!!! We did the all inclusive option so when we came we didn’t pay for anything other than tipping and any extra activities we wanted. They had kids swimming lessons/activities in the pool in the mornings, along with paddle boarding yoga. They had volleyball nets in the big pool. Every single employee was 10/10 🩵

We had a great experience over the New Year week with our three young adult children. Rooms were clean and well appointed. Our housekeeper Elizabet did a fantastic job. Bar service at the pools was great (top shelf brands were included). Great variety of restaurants. We especially liked the pizza at Peninsula during lunch and La Bodega & Blu for dinner. Our waiter at Blu (Oscar) did an outstanding job. We enjoyed countless whale sightings as well as great entertainment at the Black Lemon.

They could ease up on the pressure to attend the timeshare presentation during check-in. After a long day of traveling, that wasn’t appreciated. Overall a very nice resort.

Victor at Gran Fiesta Americana Los Cabos totally nailed it with his top-notch service. Super friendly and attentive. Solid 5-star vibes for sure! After hearing about this being our honeymoon he made it his mission to make it an amazing experience.

Great hotel, attentive friendly staff cares about your experience, part of a wedding party, our part was flawless, constant amenity stocking in room if desired, coffee and gift shops, many restaurants. It's all inclusive, but we tipped well, they really deserve it, hard workers.
Pools nice, rooms great, and the buffet breakfast we had every day was fantastic, thanks Hiromy for the crepes every day! Will visit again!

In the night late 1990s, this is one of the few resorts along the highway going into Cabo San Lucas. They were a 5 star resort then. In my opinion, as the property aged and they work to keep it up, they struggled with some of the growth and competition around them. Since then, time passed, and COVID-19 hit and knocked everyone's business down in the area. Since 2020, they have been working to rebuild their staff, which is multilingual, and have improved the property and offerings. Cabo has become the new tourist area with many travelers arriving by air, thank goodness for a newer airport, and via cruise ships.

The room I stayed in was a 3 bedroom plus, and had a nice balcony/patio, with a table and hot tub. The maid service occurs daily, and this staff is the heart and soul of the resort, along with the team that services guests arriving, departing, and ferrying them around the resort.

It's a little bit of a walk from our room to the pools, but there are nice walkways and some elevators to make your walk easier. You will definitely get your exercise if you stay in what is referred to as phase 4 of the property, vs. phase 1, or one of the early phases built.

I like to visit in January, which is a time when the weather is nice and you can do some whale watching, with binoculars. These majestic mamals are not too far off the resort beach line. The weather is normally high in the mid-70s and lows in the upper 50s. It rarely rains during this time.

Back to the property, there are 5 restaurants on the property and numerous other little shops. Such as an ice cream shop, spa, and several pools. There are some cabanas for rent and places to sit out on the beach. I'm not really a fan of the sand on the Pacific side of the US because it's kind of coarse. It is typical Pacific Coast sand, and my opinion, my compared to gulf coast sand or the sandy beaches of the Florida pan handle.

The resort does offer shuttles to and from Cabo San Lucas and the airport. Overall, I can not say how much it is nice to see this resort recapture its level of service and place in the Cabo area.

There was one downside to my visit. I was looking forward to playing golf at the Jack Nicholas Ocean course and looked forward to playing a round about once every 5 years, mostly because the green price of green fees was high. However, on this visit, I could not play it because the course and its property have been purchased by another large resort, which has limited its play to members only. This is a sad thing for the area as it is a beautiful course to play. It's my understanding they tore up a couple of its marquee holes along the water and sold the property for building villas. Sad.

I've added some pictures of the room, resort, and view.

I hope you enjoy this property as much as I have. If you are not happy about something, bring it to someone's attention, and I'm sure the staff will do their best to address your request within reason.

We had an amazing stay at this wonderful property. We generally don't stay at all inclusive hotels but we're so inspired by the friendliness of the staff and beautiful facilities. A personal shout-out to Alicia Romero, Howard Vasquez, Roberto and his team at the pool activities, kids club staff, and rodrigo at peninsula for going above and beyond to make us comfortable.

Had a great time. Food was great, service was phenomenal, drinks were everywhere, Black Lemon was disappointing, gym has enough equipment, great view everywhere, pool is kept clean. Would definitely go back in a heartbeat.

The only draw back is the beach, it looks s good for the area but we love a floater softer sand. Otherwise an exceptional location and experience.
I would return.

There's so many wonderful things to say about our stay at Fiesta Americana Los Cabos. We've been to several all inclusive resorts before and have had good food but the food here was amazing. So good! So fresh! And so consistent at any restaurant we went to. Salvador and Cesar at Peninsula went above and beyond at lunch everyday and every restaurant ensured my gluten allergy was addressed and even adjusted recipes for me. Edwardo at the beach ran his butt off and took great care of everyone out there. The service was amazing at every turn!
The whole place is so clean! Not a speck of dust or dirt missed. The shows at the Black Lemon were well done and fun to watch. The gym was really hot, only having fans to keep cool but it appears to be partially under construction so hopefully when complete there will be air conditioning in there. It's large, has a lot of high quality equipment and a dedicated housekeeper that keeps everything spotless.
The activities coordinators at the pools are super sweet and do a great job. I would suggest some music at the pools though. It's only on for a short period when they're doing activities at the pool. It's a little maze like to navigate from 1 side of the pool to the other with lots of stairs which is hard for me due to a hip injury but we made it work. Overall we had an amazing time, enjoyed some absolutely delicious food and enjoyed the views so, so much. Highly recommend!!!
