Hacienda Encantada Resort & Residences

We are owners here and we truly appreciate this resort. It is to me a 5 star resort. The staff we encounter are friendly and provide great service. Although we don't do All inclusive they offer many restaurants and activities. There are 3 pools, pickleball courts, a 9 hole chipping/putting course and great ocean views from all their buildings . We have learn to appreciate it more and more each visit.

We love it here! Food is delicious, especially the sushi by the pool. So excited to eat sushi the other day. Breakfast buffet was great. Service is fantastic- everyone is super friendly. Lots of great entertainment! They have three pools, all brought their own different fun aspects. We can’t wait to come back with friends and family.

My family stayed at this resort do four nights and five days. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The food was good but not outstanding. Be careful when ordering because you will find not everything is included in the all inclusive. I got stuck for a $170 bottle of wine. Wish the waiter would have told me it was not included. I also booked transportation from the airport to the hotel and paid for four people. My wife and children arrived a day earlier than me but when I arrived the next day the transportation company said I only had paid for three and charged me again. The hotel assured me that they would credit me for the extra charge but never did.
Now I come to the heart of my review. Do not sign up for the presentation that offers you discounted scenic tours. They say it will only be 90 minutes but it will actually go on for three hours. At the end when I chose not to buy the salesperson asked me “then why are you here?” I told him he was being very rude and as I got up to leave he said”just remember you are in a foreign country” which I took as a serious threat. As we walked away one of my kids heard them say “we have their room number” which I took to mean another threat. Didn’t feel comfortable after that. I will never go back

We had such an amazing stay last year, we decided to make a yearly trip to this resort. Although we noticed a few differences (food was better last year, service was faster last year), it was still a delightful trip overall. There were a few things that stood out to us this time that we didn't experience last year - some maintenance in the room was lacking (sink was clogged, fridge was making loud noises, air conditioner was finicky). Hopefully, these were just short-term issues and a moment in time.

The resort and grounds exude authentic Mexican flair and there was no shortage of restaurants/food choices during our 6 day stay.

Worthy 5 stay review for service goes to Alejandro from Maria's buffet. He really brightened our mornings with his attentiveness and enthusiasm for everything he was bringing us. The cappuccino/latte machine miraculously decided to work every time he was helping us and seemed to be out of order when he wasn't. When we thanked him for his wonderful service, his response was "I treat my guests as I would want my family to be treated." Well, we definitely felt that and he made our trip memorable!

This resort’s location is amazing if you want a secluded quiet vacation with impeccable views, which we did. We are not big partiers and like to stay off the beaten path and this was perfect. When we saw our room was right outside of a restaurant and bar we were worried but bars close fairly early so we were fine. The resort is beautiful and very well kept. There were several pool options. We chose the quieter pool and it was perfect for us. The all inclusive option worked for us. We had choices between Hacienda and their sister resort Marina Fiesta. The only thing we probably wouldn’t do would be the premium all inclusive. It was not worth the extra money for us. Our Master Suite was spacious and beautiful. Our only complaint, if we really had one, was that we are early risers because we like to walk the resort and when we showed up to the 7am breakfast opening they were still getting ready for an extra half hour to 45 minutes. We could still eat but they were still putting things out. We were fine sitting and waiting with a beautiful view of the water and chalked it up to Mexican time. The views from this resort were impeccable and we saw whales several times a day. It was an incredible vacation.

We celebrated our 10 year anniversary. The check in process was great. The wait staff is amazing. We love the location which is right on the Pacific. If you come here the sun rise and sun sets are worth taking the time for. There is a variety of food.

The place was beautiful. Views spectacular. Service was wonderful. It was paradise.
Expensive compared to other areas of Mexico. But we thoroughly enjoyed it and did not want to leave.

I have had the best time of my life here, the staff are amazing, friendly accommodating and warm!!! We don’t like to travel to the same places twice but absolutely will be back again!! I can’t recommend this place more!!! The food, service is top notch!!!! Let me recommend taking advantage of all the excursions, the whales tour has to be my personal favorite!! Thank you to all the staff that made my vacation memorable!!

I have never been to a more beautiful place. The service was top notch and the food was nothing short of amazing. The staff was so pleasant fun and attentive. I've already made plans to go back for my birthday and will be bringing more friends!!! A few of the staff members that made a vig impact on our stay, both Gilberto's, Mauricio, Isabella and several others whose name escapes me but all amazing and the entire resort was super clean 👌🏽

We have been impressed with the resort. The service friendliness of staff has been extraordinary. The ability to go to different restaurants is wonderful. We love the food at the different pool sites. And we also like the ability of being able to use the Fiesta Resort downtown at the marina. All of this were great pluses

We have had an excellent time here for a friend's wedding! Miguel was our waitor at one restaurant and it was amazing, and Ariel was great keeping us entertained at a few places! We loved it here and will come back!

We needed a warm and quiet getaway in winter. We'd been the previous year and fell in love. The staff is extraordinary, every room has a view of the ocean. They're are events many nights and activities during the day. I came to Cabo to escape a week of cold and snow and shake off the stress of the holidays. This place is an oasis.

We were there in 2021. Going back in October this year. Very nice complex with 7 resturants on site, and 5 more located down at the marina were included in the all inclusive package. Beautiful grounds and infinity pools. Great food.

I come to relax in a safe resort and have fun… Isabel at the Ilforno Bar will keep your favorite drink full… serve you the best lunch cuisine…Manuel will take you on a safe horseback ride in the scenic countryside. Ariel and Nadia will get you moving in the pool every morning with over the top aerobic exercise and provide your favorite karaoke song on Wednesday nights… Adrian will take you on tour Thursday nights to the Art fair in San Jose losCabo and get you a seat at the Baja brewery for a glass of great beer… keeps you coming back

My husband and I are owners at the Hacienda Encantada since January 2023. We were given 5 free days in a studio (and we added two extra days to make it a full week) and we absolutely LOVE this resort and the staff. Louis, at check in, goes above and beyond. Jose, from check in, is already helping us with our March trip! The rooms are gorgeous with a spectacular view! Cesar Solis from housekeeping did a magnificent job cleaning our room and he was so friendly, sweet and helpful.
The Il Forno staff, along with El Eden staff are always amazing.
We spend our days at Pool 1, the staff is top notch! Edwing was our waiter in the VIP area and he is fantastic with a great sense of humor. During past visits, Juan de Dion, Juan Ramos and Gustavo have helped us at the pool and they are incredible too! We really enjoy the drinks and the food...some people complain, we love it! Moises, the concierge at Pool 1 is friendly and joined us on a tour of Todo Santos...WHAT A BLAST!!

There is a nice man and his family, Santos, at Pool 2 who makes gorgeous jewelry, pottery and MUCH MORE! Reasonable prices and a lot to choose from! I don't know why he is not promoted by the resort! We have bought so many things from him and everything is beautiful and well made! I personally know other guests that purchase items from him every time they visit the resort too! Please patronize Santos!!

We can't wait to bring our daughters and their boyfriends in March!

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at Hacienda Encantada. This is a perfect location. The view from the pool couldn't be more perfect. I especially appreciate Ariel and the rest of the entertainment team.

What an amazing experience. Everyday there was something to be apart of. This is a great place to be with your friends and experience a great view, restaurants, trips, and activities to partake it. Big shout out to Ariel on the activity team for bringing a good time to the resort. He's most definitely a hardworking staff who engages the guest. He makes the resort feel and look 10xs better. This place was damn luxurious. Hacienda Encantada is the most beautiful resort in Cabo, Mexico. You can eat sushi in a damn pool, do whatever you desire, & the staff is amazingly friendly. I went there with 2 other family friends and we all had a blast. Its an all inclusive meaning you can have as many california sushi rolls and pina coladas as you want while sitting in a pool. All in all this resort was really fun, exotic, and beautiful. The food is also amazing.

We went to Hasienda encantada in December, and we did it through Interval International. It's been a very long time since we have been to cabo and had no idea what to expect. Magical, life changing. The people at the hotel do everything to make your stay that much better, our driver felipe was simply the best, friendly always ther for us to pick us up and take us anywhere we needed. He was there. He actually went to town for me and got binoculars so we could see the whales from our deck jumping out of the water amazing. When you're there, make sure you meet felipe and tell him Tim said hi. Mauricio was the jefe at the front when you pulled up to check in right of the bat he helped in any way he could. He helped with Uber rides. Any time I called the front, he answered with a posative attitude, which made our stay that much better. Gustavo was our pool waiter. That man worked hard ran circles around everyone, always making sure you had what you need, always smiling and making your pool experience that much better.

Tip these people, they work hard for you, they say that with the all-inclusive tips are included. But it's a very small amount to the individuals, and their hourly pay is not anything. They support their famalia. Please take care of them.

The Hasienda would not be the Hasienda without the incredible people working there. There are so many more people to mention.

You have to go and experience this place. it's beautiful. The food is amazing, the rooms are huge, and the housekeepers clean every day. Make sure you leave a tip in their envelope every day. The pictures I added should sell this place to you.
