Superb resort. The staff couldn't have been nicer, more attentive, and courteous. Great location right on the water. Food was delicious, if a little overpriced. But if you just forget how to convert pesos to dollars, you'll enjoy the food even more! Just excellent from start to finish.

This was the best experience I have had at a hotel. Service was amazing, staff was extremely friendly, resort was beautiful and clean and food was great. They did not say no to us the entire time we were there and were so accommodating. Everyone was so kind to my 3 children and made their experience one of the best they have had. I can’t wait to go back! My personal concierge Sebastian and Rafael were both phenomenal and made my stay sooooo much better! Amazing experience over all!

Amazing Birthday Bash at Esperanza!

Just got back from Esperanza and, wow, what a trip! Big shoutout to Lupita and Sebastian for the email magic that made planning this trip a breeze. They hooked us up with all the right stuff, making sure our stay was spot on from the get-go.

Our driver, Santiago, was the best welcome committee, giving us the lowdown on all things Cabo during our rides. And Jose, our butler? Absolute legend for keeping us sorted day and night.

Mornings were a blast with Edgar at the pickleball courts - dude knows how to pick tunes and play! And when Patricia, the property manager, swung by with free tequila shots during our cabana chill, it just added to the birthday vibes.

Speaking of cabanas, Alfredo made sure we were never without a drink or shade, making our day of lounging perfect.

The highlight? Cooking with Chef Juan Carlos. We whipped up the best empanadas and guac, then enjoyed them with a view. Doesn’t get better than that.

Honestly, if you’re thinking about Cabo, Esperanza is where it’s at. Great vibes, amazing people, and unforgettable experiences. Already planning our next trip back!

We went to the restaurant Cocina Del Mar and it was off the hook. Every dish was amazing and I will be dreaming about the churros for years! Service was the best - they even brought blankets when it became a little chilly. This is a can not miss spot for a special meal

Just returned from a week at The Villas at Esperanza through Exclusive Resorts and had a fabulous trip! The accommodations, dining, ocean views and service were spectacular! Our concierge Manuel Tamayo was attentive to our every need and always with a smile! From our greeting to making dinner reservations And letting us know about the special events at the property each day/night, as well as shopping and local attractions. It was truly a magical experience! Our daily maid service was lively and Valerie even surprised us with a vase of flowers she arranged from the beautiful flowers outside - so thoughtful!!! Will definitely go back. Thank you all for such a wonderful vacation!

Great for kids. There are multiple pools that allow kids so make sure you ask for a property map. We made the mistake of thinking there was only one small pool for kids and missed out on spending more time at the other pools

This review is for Cocina Del Mar Esperanza Restaurant!

Service: Our waiter was Pablo! Lovely gentleman. Very knowledgeable of the menu and was professional and attentive.

Location: This was about a 20 minute drive from our resort which was Viceroy. It’s also about 2 - 5 minutes away from Rosa Negra.

Located just by the sea with high terrain views and a nice cool breeze. They offered a blanket upon request if it gets chilly which was clean and cozy.

Ambiance: Gorgeous, Romantic, Calming. The architecture, decor and lighting sets the perfect mood for a wonderful dinner and night out.

Meal: The meal was delicious. My favorite was the Tres Leches. Best I’ve ever had. I also enjoyed the chicken with mashed potatoes. It was juicy and tasty.

The property of which this restaurant is located is huge, dreamy and feels like something from a movie.

High recommended!

Staying at the Esperanza couldn't be a better way to spend your time in Cabo. The amenities, the pools, the staff, the food and the drinks are second to none.....and the accommodations are 5 star all the way!

Truly in a class of its own, with every detail taken care of, and memories that will last a lifetime.

You can't start without raving about service. For one, you get a personal concierge (Cuate aka your buddy), who is available at anytime with just a quick text, whatsapp message or call. Talk about 5+ star service!

Rooms: Modern, large and stunning...go for one with its own pool!

Food: Everything is delicious and I implore you to try it all (and go to COMAL as well!)

Pools: Never have I ever seen such amazing and infinite, infinity pools! Everyone of them has their own style, vibe and amazing location/views...be sure to take a dip in them all.

On top of that anytime you leave your room, you come back to everything immaculately clean (and organized), with incredible amenities left for your enjoyment (and each one better than the last!). You would swore there is magic in the air at Esperanza...and don't forget to check out their sister property next door for even more amazing-ness!

I could go on, but instead I am just going to go back! There was too much to do and see for a single trip.

We recently stayed at Esperanza for 6 nights in an ocean-view room for our anniversary. I’m not sure how anyone could write a negative review about anything at this resort. Every single thing at this place is 5 star. The room was incredible, the views and amenities are 5*, the customer service was perfect and the food was some of the best I’ve ever had at a resort. This is one of the best places we’ve ever stayed. Book with confidence, this place is legit.

One of most wonderful places I have yet to be. 2nd time there in 3 years.. Incredible staff, exceptional service, over the top rooms with great views, attention to details and personal butler, incredible experience. Awesome beach, infinity pool and additional pools for families, Cocina Del Mar restaurant is absolutely amazing. Not one thing went wrong. I Am 100% coming back. The grounds and pools are exquisite. The service has been impeccable and the staff is so helpful and nice! This hotel definitely has all the qualities of a five-star resort. I will definitely be coming back to this place. It’s a perfect place to relax. Rooms are freshly remodeled and very cozy.

Got a beachfront view from the room. Service was damn near perfect!! They tell you 24 hour text concierge service, I found that I wasn't getting responses Monday I was there. The front desk wasn't opened until the afternoon. I was still able to ask anyone, so many staff everywhere, any questions and they quickly fixed any issues that arose. I can't recommend this place enough!!!

Wow! This is an amazing resort! We just spent four nights here and I really cannot express how amazing this place is. You will pay a lot for it, but it is worth it.

I recommend you get a junior suite oceanfront room with a spa. You will literally be right on the beach and when you shower you can open the windows for an amazing experience. The food was fantastic! Wednesday night is a taco bar with fireworks. Cocina Del Mar has great food and I recommend the Blue Fin Tuna appetizer and any of the fish main courses. I would stay away from the pasta. Service was also as good as any luxury property I have stayed at. Hector our concierge was a big help in procuring a car for trips to the city and for moving our reservations. I was also impressed that they are undergoing a renovation, but you never saw or heard any of the construction. And because the spa was closed, they did our massages in our room which was awesome!

There were a couple things that I should call out as not being great. We did lose power several times during the trip, but it didn’t negatively impact us except that WiFi was down for two days and we couldn’t FaceTime with our kids. Not a big deal, but could be for some people especially if you are working during your trip. I also recommend that you stick with the Infiniti pools that are on the south side of the property. That two level, adults only pool was quieter and had a better view. The other pools had an odd group of people getting drunk and aggressively hitting on teenage girls. The guest who said he was the “King of Cabo” was particularly creepy and seemed very out of place.

All in all, if you got the money and want to impress your loved one, go to Esperanza in Cabo. It is about as good as it gets!

My stay at the Golden Star Hotel was simply exceptional. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with unparalleled warmth and kindness by the staff. The hotel facilities are dazzling, from the impressive lobby to the elegant rooms that offer a spectacular view.

Elegant and breathtaking resort made special by the amazing people who work there. No detail is overlooked and no request too large. The views never disappoint and there’s really no bad seat at the Cocina del Mar restaurant. The ocean is too rocky for swimming but was usually calm enough to float in the surf close to shore. Prices are very reasonable for the amazing experience you will receive in return. Good to know: this is a popular spot for weddings— 2 during our 4 night stay.
