Moon Palace The Grand - Cancun

Amazing all inclusive experience! This is a must try resort! They have absolutely everything! Great for families. My husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary! Tje food was great! They have a karaoke bar, club, speak easy, 24 hour room service and more!

Really great resort overall. Every restaurant had wonderful food and service. Golf cart on resort transportation. Nice amenities. Property was clean and well cared for. One warning though - I highly suggest you not attend the 90 minute meeting to discuss their membership. They’ll offer you money to use at the resort but the meeting lasts for three hours and is a very high pressure sales pitch.

This was my second time there and I'll be back again next month. The service is above and beyond. The beds and pillows are super comfortable. I love the giant double Jacuzzi tub and all the views are nice. The Grand has the best variety of restaurants out of the three resorts there. All the staff are friendly and accommodating. There are golf carts that show up frequently to shuttle you around. So many pools to choose from and the spa was superb. I just wish there were more adult only activities on site, at no extra cost. The beach is underutilized.

Everything was amazing! I loved the restaurants and the experience was good. There were a bunch of children’s activities which was a good thing since I have three kids. But I highly suggest not to get roped up in the 90 minute meeting to discuss their membership. They kept pushing us forward to attend the meeting and the also booked things without our confirmation like 2 manicures and the meeting. This was a great experience and I would love to come back again! Staff members were really kind too.

The hotel is nice and we didn't have any issues getting into restaurants. Room service takes time but if you plan it isn't bad. What makes this a five star stay for me is how amazing the staff at the Grand Water Park are, especially Andre! He has been so kind and fun to my son all week! Seeing my kid so happy and having so many activities planned for him including face painting and water gun fights makes the vacation really special. I would recommend bringing a stroller as there are some long walks. No place is perfect but the staff here do everything to make your stay easy and enjoyable.

My family and I stayed here from February 5th to 14th, and we absolutely loved our stay! 🥰 It was our first all-inclusive, and safe to stay it surpassed our expectations. There were lots of activities for kids, teens, and adults, and we never seemed to run out of things to do. I was worried we wouldn’t have enough options for food because we’re vegetarian, but all of the restaurants and Grand buffet were very accommodating and had great food! The only let-down out of the ones we went to was Circus. The property itself is gorgeous and well-kept, and the staff are super friendly and polite! There’s really something for everyone here, although I feel like it’s definitely more geared towards families. I can’t think of any complaints with this resort, I was so so happy and beyond satisfied the entire time. The only downside was the beach; the water was murky and as bad as everyone says. However, we went to the Beach Palace instead for a day since Moon Palace guests have free access to the amenities there, and I didn’t feel like I missed out on anything afterwards. The beach at Beach Palace is absolutely gorgeous, but the resort itself can’t begin to compare to the Grand.

We stayed at Moon Palace The Grand - Cancun over Thanksgiving this year with 12 people and we absolutely loved it. We have been to several all inclusive resorts with children and this was by far the best experience. The staff was amazing and you could tell that they loved their job. The hotel was very nice and felt safe the entire time. The food and drinks were top notch! I would like to give thanks to Alejandro (lobby bar) on his amazing service the entire week. We would go see him every night because of his overall friendliness and it was a pleasure getting to know him. We also had a great time at the Speakeasy (The Library) where Fernando made the best drinks on the property! Thank you Alejandro and Fernando for making our trip one to remember!

Wonderful resort for a family holiday. I highly recommend it !!! The food options are plenty and each restaurant is amazing! Lots of live shows all around the resort. Large resort suitable for jogging : you can easily do a 10K without exiting the resort. Just book and thank me later

We did not stay at this hotel, we stayed at sunrise but we did tour the rooms and used the water park at the grand and it was awesome. The rooms looked good and the hotel itself was huge and full of marble and granite. The bathrooms were clean and the restaurants were very nice with delicious food. A bit more affordable at sunrise than the grand but if we can get a better deal next for sure will be at the grand. Lots of beautiful pools at the grand with beautiful scenery. Many beautiful iguanas and deer around. But the most interesting part for me was the hidden library bar, beautiful architectural design of the entrance.

Phenomenal staff and service!! We had been to another Cancun resorts but this beats all. It has something for everyone. There are so many activities that days will be smaller.

Rooms - they are big size room with built in hot tubs. Not much of a view. I seriously don’t care about the view cause there is so much to do on resort you want get time to sit in the balcony.

Food 20/10. None of the restaurants disappointed us. Food was just awesome. You won’t go wrong with any one of them

Waterpark - it was a huge hit with my kids

Pools- there are so many pools on premises and the drinks are amazing.

Play area- they have 1 big kids play area inside the waterpark and one for bigger kids and teenagers near lobby called wired. Its free and has fun games

Boulangerie- coffee, cake and ice cream shop. Open 24hr. They have crepes too.

Spa - very relaxing and you can use your resort credit here

There are many more activities to do like bowling , night and day clubs, biking and so on. We just didnt get time to do everything and planing to go here again end of this year.

Last but not least, my huge thanks to the staff. They are amazing and made our experience here so unforgettable.

The Grand is in a great location for relaxing.
It is away from the busy hotel district and has so much to do, you don't need to go anywhere else.
All of the restaurant were great and the staff does Well with taking care of the clients.
Also the staffs attentiveness to cleaning is above most. They will go out of their way to make sure the things are clean, and picked up.
Would definitely recommend for anyone that wants a relaxing getaway.

We’re still here and I got scared reading the reviews prior to coming on our trip but I dont know what the heck people are complaining about; this place has been absolutely amazing. The staff have all been so kind to us! From the wait staff, maintenance people, cleaners, to the bus/cart drivers (shout out to Edwin!). The staff have been so good with our kids who are 2 under 2 and it’s made our trip so much better.
Tons of activities and entertainment. No issues getting into restaurants! Food was amazing at Jade.

Me and my family we stayed at moon palace the grand for a week and we loved it,the food was delicious the place was clean,they workers were very nice with us,the room that we stayed at was very clean. we love the the place so much and we bought a vacation page so that we can come back anytime. LOVE MEXICO and see you guys in August 2024.

A one spot resort for all the fun activities and luxury too. Options for Multi cuisine and themed restaurants, Spa,water park and arcade games and many more. Best destination to spend your vacation for all ages. Just plan ahead and book the activities as they get booked fast.

A fantastic all inclusive resort , good was good , very clean room , they do your room twice a day , easy to walk around , and very friendly staff , our room was 3 minutes walk from the beach. , and we loved it , golf course was in very good shape …. And the Jungle course lives to its name , a small mistake and your call is gone ,

Luxury resort. Huge property with so much to offer on a star level.. very nice touch giving a rose to ladies on arrival . And of course scented cold towels. The place is wicked hot and humidity tense. Excellent night club. Good food , service and amenities so great choice for a luxury vacation. Didn't get to take many photos this time.

20 mins away from the airport... And you will be pampered taken care of like a true vacation. Hospitality is awesome, staff are always friendly and smiling. 1 star deducted due to our 2 adjoining rooms kept having small issues.. But weren't deal breakers... Small little ants were persistent on our washroom counters in both bathrooms... And the remote power button for one tv wasn't working, took a while to figure out, and then the battery crapped out of the other. Oh welps, small things... We had requested a few times for the batteries and remote issue, but only came once... Hence one star off. Food overall, good, sometimes just a bit salty.. But overall, no one got sick and majority of food was fresh. BTW, towels were an issue at pools, almost everyday if you didn't get towels by 11am, you weren't going to... Good lucks with that! Golf carts were frequent and always willing to pick u up as you are walking. Spa was amazing.... Go there an hour early before your appointment to maximize your time inside.

This is incredible vacation, I can’t say what we don’t like, because it’s nothing to say ! This resort absolutely best of the best!
My kids is so happy, I don’t have any issues with food here, my kids busy all the time!
Kid’s club is perfect! We found warm pool and jacuzzi in Cusco area. We definitely be back

Amazing vacation or beach wedding destination! Stayed 6 days - no regrets! The staff were all amazing - Very good food, too! Several pools to enjoy! Highly recommend!
