Just came back last night from our week stay at this resort and I'm already looking forward to booking our return trip. Resort is absolutely perfect for our family. Everything is super clean, comfortable, and all amenities are in close proximity. This is the first all inclusive that we have not gotten bored with the food. Every meal was delicious and flavorful. I actually preferred the buffet over the restaurants and next time will not even bother with them. The service was extremely friendly and accommodating at every request instantaneously and with no language barrier. Pool and Beaches were beautiful. Can not wait to come back, but this time staying for 10 days instead of 7 that's how much we enjoyed it and never got bored with the food, which usually isn't our experience with other resort (usually over it after 5 days). Honestly I am shocked at others negative reviews because I too am picky and I think we found our go to family resort.
Great Smoothie Bar
Great Coffee Shop
Great Gym - beautifully located on the property.
Room Service was decent
*Glad I found this all inclusive hotel

This was my first all inclusive experience. So this maybe a bias review. But regardless the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were nice. Not the best hotel room I've stayed in though. You can hear noise pretty easily from inside your room if people are in the halls.

Food and drinks were all good.

We were there Feb 2024 and had a fantastic time. The activity staff was amazing. Mar, Mertha, Ritchie, Fabio, Janet, Hannah also getting people involved, smiling , talking to people and super, super friendly!!
Gabriella took great care of at at the pool with our drinks and always had time to chat or help me with a Spanish word or two. The food by the pool was fantastic!!
At the buffet Franchesco and Eduardo took care of us everyday. They knew our coffee orders, were extremely attentive to our every need and super friendly and funny. Our rooms were clean and well stocked. We did have issues with our safe but they promptly came when we requested and ended up changing the entire safe. We will be back for sure as we had such great service and fun!!
Thanks to all staff members who made our stay memorable and made us feel welcome and at home. We miss you all!! I’m surprised at any negatives comments.

We had an amazing week at this resort
Everything was perfect.
Richi was so much fun he kept us entertained all week long and had such a great sense of humour.
Edwardo in the World Cafe was very attentive to us when all 10 of us would show up.
The pictures of this resort do not do it justice , everything about this resort was perfect from the room , food, service.
It was clean and the staff are very friendly.
Thank you Dreams Sapphire for making our family vacation so fun.

Getting here was a bit of a bumpy ride, but the customer service is above and beyond. Breakfast buffet was a feast and the pools are very pretty. We're at day one, and everything is how I expected it. The friendly and incredibly welcoming staff makes it so much enjoyable. And the view of the ocean is stunning!

Had a 4 day vacation at this resort. Nice and cozy. Not very big resort but nicely maintained. They believe in quality rather than quantity when it comes to food. Not many options in buffet but quality food. Make sure to visit French and Italian restaurants in the resort. Excellent food and fine dine experience. Pool area is nicely maintained. Evenings are very relaxing. Music and other activities every night. Room service is good.Tropical feeling every where. Beach is nice. Over all nice experience.

Dania at Revive Bar is wonderful. Super friendly! She went above and beyond every time I stopped by for sorbet and fruit. Highly recommend that spot for a nice treat and fantastic service!

Just came back from a week long stay and had such a great time! The reviews for this resort are so mixed so I figured I’d include some details. Will definitely be visiting again!

Vibe: Very family friendly. We traveled with our baby Charlie and everything went smoothly. They have a small kids water park and waterslides (for all). The grounds are gorgeous - lots of space for beautiful walks. There are also several bars and nighttime entertainment so I’d say something for everyone!

Rooms: Booked a Jr Deluxe with jungle view. Since we have a baby, we spent a lot of time in the room / on the balcony. The room has plenty of space for a pack n play or crib. Balcony was super private - could use fresh paint out there. On first day, we saw the shower was clogged so we made a request and they fixed it that same day. Landy in housekeeping was great and gave us extra towels and waters when asked. Didn’t really hear other guests at all but we also brought a white noise machine. Overall great condition and very clean!

Food: Overall it was way better than we expected based on other reviews. It is an all inclusive resort so of course I think some people need to adjust their expectations. The coffee shop was excellent - we went everyday for lattes. Did not grab the baristas name but she was very consistent and quick! We went to a different restaurant every night (right around 6 pm) and never had an issue getting in. We did the buffet almost everyday for lunch and breakfast - Francisco, Gamaliel(?) and rest of staff are very friendly and attentive. They have a grill at the buffet that makes fresh salmon, chicken etc. upon request. El Patio was great for dinner - Juancarlito (?) was an excellent server. Hibachi was delicious and entertaining - Miguel and Marcos were great. You book a spot in the Hyatt Ap. There was a ton of availability - we did hibachi twice! Portofino and Bordeaux were okay. My only complaint is that a lot of the restaurants don’t have changing tables in the bathrooms which is surprising for a family friendly resort. We also did room service a couple of times and they were super prompt and came in about 30 mins!

Gym: Pretty good equipment and clean. Would be helpful if they opened earlier.

Pool: Like most people said, spots by the shade fill up by 8am or so. There is some construction next to the pool area but they play music so it is easy to tune out. Staff had Zumba and other programs throughout the day. Towels came out periodically and were taken quickly but we still got fresh towels every morning - I don’t think there is a need to hoard like people mentioned.

Beach: Beautiful with a ton of seating. Seats under shade may be taken by 10/11 but you can almost always grab a spot in the sun. Very relaxing. A little windy but it’s the beach. There is a machine they run every day along the shore to grab excess seaweed so that was never an issue.

Service: I saw a lot of people mention in reviews that service was not great but literally everyone we met was nice and attentive. Check in and checkout were smooth. We were able to swap out our large bill pesos for smaller bills and made sure to tip everyone. I think this goes a long way and seemed to be appreciated.

Entertainment: Since we have a baby we did not get the chance to do the night activities. For kids they seemed to have a ton going on throughout the day!

Bars / Drinks: We are not big drinkers but ordered a few Mojitos and Old Fashioned and they better than expected! Not watered down like we’ve experienced at other all inclusives.

Excellent Service, spacious rooms, felt safe, kids friendly and they treat you like a king with all inclusive. Location is decent with some unpaved roads. Resort in itself is beautiful with tons of entertainment. We are strictly Vegan, so the options were limited. I suggest management to add more vegan food.

We stayed at the Dreams Sapphire in late August and really enjoyed the resort. We had a room with a walk out pool overlooking the ocean and it was spacious, modern and clean. It was a good size for our family of 4.

The service of the maids, concierge, restaurant and entertainment teams was excellent. Very friendly, attentive and hard working.

The resort is about 30 minutes from the airport, but an hour or so from downtown Cancun and excursions.

The pool was the best feature of the resort (very large, clean and never felt too crowded). The beach was nice, but full of sea-weed and nobody really used it (more to do with time of year I hear). They have a kids and teen club and the kids club had activities all day long for younger children 4-12. (arts & crafts, camping, movie night, bike rides, baking cookies and pizza, etc.)

The food was pretty good to average with some cuisines being better than others - we stuck mainly with the buffet as that has a lot more options for kids under 6.

The nightly entertainment was fine and usually lasted an hour (rock show, fire show, karaoke, circus theme, etc). After that you could dance and party for a little also.

Overall, we really liked this Dreams and think most people would be happy with the staff, resort ambiance & activities offered.

Beautiful facilities 🤩 we got the swim up room and enjoy the preferred pool and perks. The food could improve but hibachi was outstanding. Carlos in the Asian restaurant is really great and I want to acknowledge the performers in the Urban Show - the best entertainment I’ve ever had at a resort. Incredible strength and skill for those performers WOW. We purchased tour and massage on the beach and were happy to support local entrepreneurs- those experiences were also excellent!

We just returned from our 1 week stay at Dreams Sapphire in preffered club from February 9-16 and it was great!
(Ocean front room in building 1)

Food:
The food was good, and is what we expect when going to the level of resorts that we always do in this area.
We ate most of our lunches at the blue water grill and absolutely loved the chicken wings, the chicken sandwich and the fish tacos!
We also ate our breakfast at that same restaurant (Actually named Bordeaux) everyday as preferred members. We stuck to the basic breakfast and omelettes there and they were good!
Huge shout out to our server for breakfast and lunch almost everyday - VICTOR!
Victor was amazing, fast and knew our orders and modifications within a day and was so friendly.

We only checked out the buffet for lunch twice and it was good with lots of selection! FRANCISCO served us both times and was very fun and energetic and attentive!

We ate dinner at Bordeaux twice and really liked this menu - we sat outside and had amazing service by IVAN. He was friendly, attentive and very professional.

Special shoutout to DIANA who was the host at the buffet and I think another restaurant as well. She greeted us by name and made us feel so welcomed right from the start.

Pools:
We didn’t spend any time at the main pool as we prefer a slower and quieter pace at the pool. The preferred pool was a slice of heaven! It’s nestled into the jungle which shelters you from the wind and is just a beautiful pool.
We REALLY enjoyed not having to worry about getting up at 6am to get chairs at the preferred pool.

The BEST part of our stay was JOSE and ROSENDO at the preferred pool! Jose worked his butt off running around serving everyone all day long and went WAY above and beyond for us to make us feel special. My birthday was on the 14th and he made us special drinks in a pineapple followed by a birthday cake! Greeted us by name everyday and he always knew exactly what we wanted for drinks. Thank you so much to these two in particular for making our trip so special and relaxing!

The main pool was VERY loud and full of entertainment all day - so if that’s your thing then it would be a great spot. I know a lot of people said the pool entertainment was awesome.

General & Room:
The concierges were all very helpful throughout our stay, ANDREA in particular was lovely and remembered our names and my birthday despite only having a brief conversation with her to start.

The room was beautiful and fridge worked to keep drinks cold inside. Nice bathroom and balcony.

There is construction at this resort which has been going on for months and is definitely going to continue for a few more months it appears. It is loud and disruptive all day if you’re at the main pool but I think they have the music loud enough to drown most of it out. It will be beautiful when the construction is done! It looks like a new wing on the hotel with jacuzzi rooms and I believe that’s where the Blue water grill restaurant will be.

Extras:
Blue water Grill was not available for dinner which was upsetting as it was the menu we were most excited for when we booked the trip.
Its very confusing to try to figure out which restaurants are open and when since they basically only have “Bordeaux”, “portofino” and “Himitsu” open but those 3 rooms host 4/5 restaurants right now due to the construction.

There’s no reservations for any of the normal restaurants which I was a bit worried about but actually it was very easy and worked out great. We RARELY had to wait at all for a table or sometimes 15-30 minutes.

We found the evening entertainment lacking at this resort - and most of it was confined to the theatre which is indoors.

In summary:
I think there’s something here for everyone from partiers to retired folks to families with kids. The property is beautiful and it’ll be even better once the construction is done. The staff were all extremely nice and helpful!

We came here for an Indian wedding. I will say I was concerned about our trip to this place after reading the reviews. But now after experiencing this place I'm going to chalk it up to spoiled Americans who just have to find something to complain about. Everything was absolutely beautiful the rooms were nice, the staff were some of the hardest working people I've ever seen in my life. Everyone was super friendly and would do anything I mean anything to make your experience better, even if it wasn't in their job description. The wedding was one of the most spectacular thing I culd have ever imagined, I could write a novel about that. They had constant nonstop 5 star entertainment and kept people always engaged. The buffet food selection was one of the largest I've ever seen and constantly rotating. Not to mention the superbowl party they threw. It was the most spectacular customized event I could ever imagine, the set up and food alone must have costs thousands of dollars. Turn down service every night in our room. I could go on and on, but I won't. Well done y'all!

We stayed here this December 2023
It was FANTASTIC! We booked a swim out room with our two kiddos for 10 days! ( infant and 4 years) and it was just amazing.

The food was exceptional. You could even get shrimp, mussels, steak, chicken, etc cooked right in front of you at the buffet. Hands down the best food I have ever had at a resort. Unreal. Lots of options for our kids as well. We even requested certain things to order for my infant and toddler like plain butter noodles, asked for certain plates of fruit etc and they made them for us no problem.

ARCHI AND MARDO were the best! They remembered us by name, and went above and beyond for us during every meal. Also room service was fantastic during our stay especially for when the baby was napping. We also ordered coffee to our room every morning and drank it on the patio looking at the ocean. A M A Z I N G

Entertainment was excellent, I did the morning Zumba and loved the beach volleyball as well. Lots of activities during the day to do. The entertainment team was excellent and so much fun!

We also dropped our son off at the kids club the last couple days which I didn’t think I would ever feel comfortable doing.. however the staff was excellent, I never was worried about anything. The girls there were amazing. Wish I would have taken advantage of it from the beginning.

Adult only pool- we went here a couple times while gramma babysat and the drinks were fantastic and it gets HOT!

Spa- we did the hydrotherapy. It was 40 USD best money ever spent. Amazing experience. My husband also got a Massage — it was very expensive but great.

CAFE- they had a full coffee bar and would make any drink, also had snacks desserts, etc. all included

Downfalls- there was lots of seaweed on the beach ( however tractor cleaned it often)
- my son wasn’t tall enough to use the water slides so he was pretty disappointed

Overall it was the best resort I have ever stayed at. We would 100% come again!

I liked the resort. It was our first time in Cancun and I am happy that I decided to come here. Yes there were a couple of minor things that could have been better but nothing is perfect. I want to say about those people who put bad reviews. I don’t know what you expect. I also noticed the things you that they mentioned but that doesn’t overshadow other awesome things this place has to offer. To the people who are reading this review, please don’t pay too much attention to the bad review just below to mine.

I had the incredible opportunity to experience the breathtaking beauty of Dreams Sapphire Resort, and let me tell you, it's nothing short of fabulous! From the moment you step in, you're greeted with a genuine warmth that sets the tone for an unforgettable stay. Unlike those rehearsed welcomes, here it feels like a sincere embrace.

Upon arrival, we were promptly taken care of, and our room boasted a fabulous view of the beach. Now, a word of caution – the resort is beachside, but timing is key to avoid seaweed during certain seasons. No worries, though; they offer plenty of cool retreats. My personal recommendation? Go VIP for exclusive access to a private pool, allowing you to relax with fewer people around compared to the main pool.

Let's talk about the food – it's simply divine! Dinner time is a culinary delight with an array of choices that go above and beyond. From Japanese cuisine to mouthwatering filet mignon by the beach, or perhaps a simple Italian dish to exquisite fine dining – they've got it all.

The spa is an oasis of relaxation, quickly becoming one of my favorite aspects of the resort. Every moment spent there felt special, thanks to the attentive and caring staff. And, oh, don't forget the evening show! It's both entertaining and educational, adding an extra layer of enjoyment to your stay.

I wholeheartedly recommend Vista Sapphire Resort for an amazing getaway. It's a place where genuine hospitality, delicious cuisine, and rejuvenating experiences come together to create memories that will last a lifetime. Don't miss out on this incredible destination!

I took my daughter for her 25th birthday. It was magical from the entrance to the room. I love the hospitality of the employees saying welcome home and they actually treat you better than home lol. The food , accommodations , pools , beach , golf carts available to get you around the resort. I’m definitely going to come back

Me and my partner had a 12 night stay at this hotel. We had a good time and we would like to share some of our experience with other people who want to come here.

Pros:
The staff is excellent and I could say they are the best I ever seen so far and I used to work in a hotel.
The breakfast was amazing, good options and the omelette and crepe stations have been fantastic but even the buffer had plenty of amazing options.
The dinner we tried all the options several times and we think the Himitsu was the best of all of them but also Bordeaux was nice however make sure you bring long trousers elegant shirt and good shows otherwise you won't be able to get in, we have seen several people being sent back because they were not dressed accordingly.
The location itself it's really nice with a lot of nature, animals but the beach was small but we still enjoyed it as most of the people would be next to the pools.
We paid prefered club for the adults only pool and the higher quality alcohol. I would say it's worth it if you are looking for peace and quiet as the main pool is full of activities, very noisy, which was not what we were looking for as we were on our honeymoon. Great for families and parties though.
The cleaners did a good job, we got our room cleaned every day and our beds made almost every evening apart from a couple of Saturdays but I expect that's because the hotel was considerably more busy at night.
The mini fridge got refilled almost every day, however we didn't abuse it just the occasional beer or water as we were not sitting in our room too much.
The room service food was quite good and we definetly recommend the fajitas and the tacos of the room service menu.

Cons:

The rooms are not really 5 star standard, they might've been in 2001 when they were build but ours was in desperate need of refurbishment. The sink was cracked, they definitely painted it this year because we would see the paint was still on the blinds. It was a disappointment when we arrived because we paid a lot of money and we were expecting 5 star details in the room, but once we adjusted our mindset it didn't bother us, because the bed was extremely comfortable and we didn't spend a lot of time in the room and at night with low light you won't notice much!
The AC was slightly noisy but we got used to it because the other option was sleep in extreme heat and we tried a couple of nights and it's not possible to sleep with the AC off.
We wish the hotel would have made us aware in advance that part of the hotel restaurants were being refurbished/built, where the World Cafe and Mexican restaurant used to be, they tried to make it work by making a Mexican night at Bordeaux on Wednesday, but we wanted the option of having lunch/breakfast with the beach view at world cafe as from the pictures that looked amazing. We also wanted to eat mexican cuisine more often than 1 night a week but we sometimes found some of the Mexican food ingredients at the evening buffet.

Also be aware, when they give you vouchers they will also try to send you to a presentation at another Dreams hotel, this is a timeshare scheme.

After writing this I would like to say we had an amazing time there and we enjoyed it very much! The staff was amazing and I think it made our stay so much better! The nature was amazing and I definitely think that the hotel has huge potential once they refurbish the rooms. We were sad to leave!
