Pangea Cafe

My husband and I loved this seaside cafe. The grilled fish was fresh and enough to share for two; the guacamole was a whole big bowl and the pina colada was perfect! Prices are very reasonable, service was great and there was a photo opp with pelicans nearby. The cafe is just next to the Puerto Morelos beach sign and we highly recommend for an excellent dining experience.

Food was delicious and the service was excellent. Great ocean view. There was a sax player in the Plaza near by. Created such a great vibe.

Drop in for a burrito and a beer...awesome and quite place, real Mexican food and (very spicy) sauces...wifi works perfectly and the price is very affordable...if you come near by drop in...the terrace in front of the beach and lighthouse makes the rest of the magic!!!

We only nibbled on some calamari rings (be judicious with the pepper sauces - the yellow one especially has some kick) as an early afternoon snack, but we had several beers, watched the waves, and had an insightful conversation about cenotes and travel with Carles behind the bar. The water was so crystalline blue and vivid that our friends back home thought we photoshopped the background… no, it’s just beautiful and relaxing! If you find yourself in Puerto Morelos, stop in for a beer or three and you won’t be disappointed.

Good bar right overlooking the beach. My favorite spot to go and work while enjoying a few beers and a tostada in the afternoons.

Loved it! We had the best seat with a view of the ocean and the hustle and bustle in the area. 😊

Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely authentic restaurant. This spot gives extraordinary service and yummy meals. The service is unmatched. The staff truly cares about your experience. The food is absolutely amazing – everything we tasted was delicious. Menu is extensive, the meals served rapidly and the rates more than reasonable. Highly recommended!

My girlfriend and I are here while staying in town. If you like root beer this will be your favorite place. I don't think I have had any root beer that tasted as good as this place.

As for the food, I had their House Special pizza. The meat is like a prosciutto and mixing it with the apple was absolutely delicious.

My girlfriend ordered the Pasta Abelonna, and it may sound weird but the curry sauce with shrimp and pasta was a great combination.

The staff was friendly and helpful, easily able to answer questions and very knowledgeable.

When I come back to the area, I will definitely be stopping back by here.

This place is great! We stopped off to get a quick breakfast to go and sip a cocktail while we waited. They were very accommodating and I wish we had more time to spend there! I would definitely go back!

Good drinking spot right by the beach. I love to have afternoon cocktails and people watch here. They often have live music and a lively atmosphere. I've never had the food as it seems a little expensive compared to other menus in the area.

Delicious hibiscus flower tacos, sandwiches & salads with fantastic staff served in casual comfort.

Love their mango smoothies. The best in town. Tasty food, too. Recommend the shrimp skewers. Perfectly grilled. A lovely view and a nice sea breeze.

The live music was great, shrimp kabobs were my favorite from here. Right off the beach.

You cannot beat the location, plus they were very cordial and friendly while we waited out the rain. They have a beyond decent menu, we had some cerviche and a quesadilla, plus cervesa, definitely worth a second visit.
