EL Oasis Seafood

Best seafood we've tried in Mexico 🇲🇽. So far, we have been in Mexico D.F, Veracruz, Puebla, Ciudad Juarez and now Cancun, playa del Carmen. This place is well beyond great. They prepare fresh seafood and service is great. Arroz a la Tumbada, fish chicharrones, whole fish, the different coctels were mouthwatering, the list goes on. It is worth the wait and prices are very reasonable. Highly recommended if you, like us, love seafood.

The food was amazing, but as soon as we finished eating, we received the bill and we felt a bit “pressured” to finish our drinks quickly and lesve. Price/performance is good. Nice staff as well.

I come to this place with zero expectation, but the service of Isaac was so good which is not common what I experienced in playa del Carmen, he speaks English very well gave fantastic recommendation, and the food is 10/10 and the prizes also very good

Great food!! Highly recommended!!! We will definitely be coming back before we go back home.

We visited this beautiful traditional Mexican restaurant to have fish and tacos , all the food was very well prepared and presented, also they celebrated the cake ceremony for my Grandson , we do recommend this restaurant strongly and will visit next time when we come to Mexico 🇲🇽 👍

There are a ton of restaurants in Playa, this one is so good we went here twice during our stay.
This is a fresh seafood restaurant, it is not cheap.
However it is way less than eating on 5th
All the staff is quite friendly and attentive, sadly we do not speak Spanish but the waiter the first time spoke perfect English and on our second visit the waiter did not but we were still able to order and had no issues at all.
I had questions about an item I had never heard of before, called Dogfish Bread, the waiter brought over someone who explained the item to me.
They are very nice, this is a real Gem and we will be back the next time we are here!

Such a great location! Amazing food - lobster and coconut shrimp were to die for. They do a HILARIOUS birthday song and treat as well. Amazing service.

Extremely satisfied with the food options, flavors, and customer service. If I could provide more stars I would. I had the camarones al mojo de Ajo as well as the Molcajete and both were Amazing! Desert was outstanding and I will definitely return.

Delicious food and great customer service! We were happy with our dishes. The seafood platter could easily feed 2-3 people. We'll be back!

We had a very warm welcome and enjoyed a nice afternoon lunch. The waiter was extremely helpful and we got an excellent service. It was a lot of fun with them and we got wonderful lobster taco. The variety of sauces is great, too. I had a couple of pacific oysters which were fresh and tasty.

Food is excellent, portion sizes on all the food is good, the atmosphere is romantic in the evening. Prices were fair for the amount of food you get. Make sure you have someone take a picture of you inside the shark!!

Excellent food, good people, even more wonderful service. We’ve seen this place driving thru town and decided to stop and enjoy some drinks and food, we were not disappointed!

Now that we live in Mexico we are on a mission to try the ceviche at every restaurant we go to in order to find the perfect one. We did the mixed option here ( squid, fish etc) and at first I wasn’t sure if the citrus had time to cook the fish but the first bite was met with pure satisfaction. The beers were cold but our server Charley was kind enough to pour them into a cold mug for us. There were fans throughout the open air restaurant but they do little in the heat of Mexico in summer. It’s part of the charm though and should be expected if visiting Quintanaroo in September. As we were leaving a one man band was just beginning to play and we noticed they have speakers posted to poles which is a nice touch. No one area is overwhelmed with live music or in a dead spot. We didn’t get a pic with the fish out front but we will definitely put it on the list when friends and family visit us. Cheers!

Ivan was a great host, our food was fast, delicious, and fresh. Would definitely recommend if you’re in town to stop by and get their tacos or grilled fish!

I picked my own fresh seafood … a large red fish and shrimp, everything was wonderfully prepared and full of flavor. This is my favorite restaurant in PDC.

Excellent place, I loved the food, pulpo a Las brazas and coconut shrimp, the best I have tasted. Prices are decent for what you get, sure I will come back and I can recommend this place to anyone.
