Aldea Corazón

My husband and I absolutely love this restaurant! It’s located in a cenote and gives off a cool jungle vibe. The service is fantastic and so is the food! Go see Moises and let him take good care of you! Can’t wait to come back!

Great food and atmosphere! Our waiter, Moisés, recommended the Tacos Josper and they were delicious.

It's a great spot if you want to escape the party and have a romantic dinner.

This was a great dining experience and the environment was surely out of the ordinary, with vibes of jungle, waterfalls, trees, etc. all around.
I had the fish dish and it was really good.
And I must mention my waiter Moises, who was so polite and kind and ensured that my visit was a nice and a memorable one. He spoke to me about other foods & cultures that he knows and also is willing to learn.

We had our wedding dinner here. We searched through a LOT of restaurants and settled on Aldea Corazon. We are SO happy we did. The ambience and atmosphere was amazing, the food was over the top and beautifully prepared. The staff Javier and Emmanuel were very attentive. It sits over top of a natural cenote. In our opinion, this is the best restaurant in Playa del Carmen, you HAVE to have a meal here.

We had an outstanding experience at this restaurant. Our server, Moises, was extremely friendly and welcoming and he made sure we were taken care of. The food and hookah was amazing and the atmosphere of the restaurant added to overall enjoyment.

A little oasis tucked away on the busy strip. You HAVE to sit in the back. So many trees and plants, and a small cenote! The food and service was great.

I went there for breakfast. The menu looked great, lots of choice. Unfortunately I’d been ill a few days before so my appetite wasn’t its’ usual self. I only got some French toast, a camomile tea and some green juice. Nothing as exciting as I would’ve liked. However that french toast was GOOD! The setting was stunning and the staff were lovely too. 5/5!

Great find on 5th Ave with seating tucked in the back amongst a natural setting away from the usual noise you find on 5th. We spent about 1,900 pesos for dinner for four (drinks and mains). Service was excellent fast efficient and very friendly. The food was wonderful, three of us ordered the Skirt Steak and it was cooked exactly as we asked and was a good portion and delicious. Definitely worth checking out and we plan to come back.

Great spot for real Mexican food and not the typical tourist Mexican food! I totally recommend you stopping by here and eat a great quality meal. The place is beautiful as well in the middle of q forest garden inspired look. Please go and enjoy a great meal. We went for dinner and breakfast. Both were impressive

Really good. The ambiance is everything here. Great for all kind of occasions, but mainly for a date night. It is a little bit pricy but the place is worth it without a doubt. Thanks again and we will be back soon.

What a wonderful hidden gem in Playa! We were very pleasantly surprised by the food quality and impeccable service at Aldea corazón. Restaurant is beautiful, food is delicious and we had a great overall experience. Hopefully will have time to go at least one more time before leaving. Highly recommend this place.

One of my favorite places to eat in Playa. What i love about it Aldea Corazón is that it's never busy. I recommend the outside dining area, it's like dining in in the forest. The food is amazing, and the staff is very friendly.

Amazing place we found on our trip. From the street it looks like any other restaurant but my curiosity kept me going in further than I went WOW what a place! It’s warm and muggy in there and we only had a couple beers and maybe some nachos, but I will go here each time I go down or eventually move there and make Playa one of many goto places in Mexico. I absolutely love Mexico over Canada!

The BEST Taste ! Great option on food at anytime. we got the share plate with chicken and steak and it was DELICIOUS! Comes with beans, tortillas, nopales plus the salsas.
The atmosphere is AMAZING!! You’ll see some friends around but they are friendly.

One of the most beautiful restaurants to enjoy. I can't say enough about this place. The food was delicious. The staff was wonderful. And the atmosphere was amazing. I came for breakfast and stayed for lunch! The smell of the smoked chicken and smoked cauliflower was heavenly. Next time maybe the pumpkin flour tamales! For brunch I had the pork with tortillas, beans and rice

Stopped in for a late lunch while in Playa del Carmen. Several of us split the mixed grilled meats platter, and were not disappointed! Well constructed cocktails and can't say enough about the chill nature ambiance of the outdoor garden...great place to while away an afternoon.

Amazing atmosphere. The meat was DELICIOUS. It was SuperBowl night so a bit too loud for us, but still, then jungle vibe inside is inspiring, and the food is even better!

Amazing hidden gem. Like in the jungle. Music choice was good, not too loud. Food was good, though I got a surprise with very spicy souse :-). Had also delicious and huge margarita. Service was very friendly. They have as well wifi. Definitely recommend. Price was as well not expensive. Margarita 180pesos, quasidillas 120pesos.

Perfect place for a drink in the evening. It’s a magical garden with lights and a cenote inside!

We sat down the whole evening and enjoyed the calmness and the nice cocktails with an amazing view!

This restaurant looks like you're in middle of the jungle with its own little (almost dry) Cenote. But the food was delicious. We had fish of the day (Sea Bass) and oh my gosh... delish!
