I had a great experience at my dive at Playa del Carmen and at my dives at Cozumel Paradise reef. Amazing colors, fish and a spotted eagle ray came by to wave us goodbye. Good gear and costumer service. I come back.

Great dives with Phocea. Passionate instructors took us to the best Cenotes dives and we also did some great sea dives in Palencar Cozumel. The organization is great, they can manage also hotels, transfers, take care of the diving gears. French speaking.

I never even thought I would try diving because I’m scared of water in general. Thibault and Valentin introduced me to diving in the best way possible by being so professional, knowledgable, skilled, patient and friendly. I only had a few days in Playa del Carmen but it was enough time for me to fall in love with diving. It will be part of my life now, and I will be diving a lot from now on. Thanks for the unforgettable experience!

Went diving with Phocea for the first time and my overall experience was great.

The staff is very friendly, professional and passionate about their job. The team dynamic is great! Thank you to Attilio and Lea for showing me my first Cenotes! I have been diving for over 15 years, and I felt like I was re-discovering scuba diving for the first time.

I did not dive with their gear, as I have my own. But I could tell that it was good quality gear. The kind of rental you hope to get in a dive centre.

When I went diving in Cozumel, Phocea sent me to another dive centre called Dune. They are equally friendly and professional. Overall, the dives were great.

A wonderful diving school. the instructors, Fab, Attilio & Co were super helpful, extreme experienced and absolutely trustworthy. I refreshed my boyance skill and also went deep diving with Thibault to the cenotes. Super recommendable, recommended it to my friends already and will come here whenever I am back. The best dive shop in Playa Del Carmen. I can dive with the Bull Sharks, go to any Cenote or even go to Cozumel with them on the morning ferry. All in one place. They even have a hotel within 10m.

Great shop and Great staff, especially Antoine. He was my instructor for my open water certification and he was extremely patient and professional. He made sure I had learned everything I needed while keeping it light and never getting frustrated, he is a great teacher and couldn’t recommend him enough.

The Phocea family is the best! Thank you so much for a wonderful experience, had an absolute blast on my trip to Playa del Carmen. You may find lots of Dive shops in the are but look no further, you can’t go wrong with Phocea Mexico. Ask for Hugo to make your reservations and Julie who we had as our Dive instructor. They where all very nice and professional.
Can’t wait to be back on my next dive trip.

Passed my OW and then added to that a cenote dive.
Amazing experience, staff helpful, adaptable, fun, and most importantly everyone is extremely passionate about what they do! Sites are well chosen and every dive is simply a new stunning scenery.

Exellent ! I got an amazing time in playa Del carmen because of them !
I did cenotes, was great and fascinating, the guide (Paul) was awesome and very professional , unfortunately I couldn't do more than one day cenotes because I didn't have much time.
I did also diving, my father and my oncle did discover dive, the staff were perfect, they made my family relax and calm before them first dive, and the manager (Freddy) let me go with my father and my oncle for the discover dive.
I recommend that place for sure ! 😀

Made 4 days of diving here. Really responsible diving instructors! Diving in cenotes was incredible. I would recommend it to everyone. I also liked that phocea supports sea shepherd.
