What an amazing place! My partner and I visited twice. If we hadn’t left Hiriketiya we would have visited even more times. We tried the deep tissue massage and the traditional Sri Lankan massage in the couple’s room. The therapists are very professional and skillful. I was drawn into Tonic Spa originally by its beautiful design and setting. I went inside and was greeted so warmly by the team. We got talking about pain I had been experiencing after my recent ankle surgery and was given some great recommendations on which treatments would be most beneficial for me. I had the traditional massage with additional heat press with focus on my ankle and the entire experience was so fantastic that I ended up returning to the spa 3 more times during my trip and never left disappointed!

Thanku Ray Pardeep and Sitesh for serving us while holidayed for 4 weeks in the area! We had many treatments including facial, herbal bath, full body massage, head neck and shoulders, reflexology, we even saw the ajurvedic doctor, we were treated to an extra treatment (I got foot massage and my husband got neck and shoulders). The guys who work here are so lovely and very thorough and experienced. My massages were so therapeutic, I often drifted off and fell asleep. If u get 5 treatments u get a herbal bath free, and the herbal bath is also outside so u get to see monkeys and birds overhead. U do need a couple of hours notice for the herbal bath as it is hot!
The herbal tea u get at the end is absolutely delightful.
I would highly recommend these guys for the experience, the price and the company!

The best massage I’ve ever had! I went for the 60 minute full body treatment and the male masseuse was incredible.

The staff were very friendly, helped me when I needed to change the time of my appointment, and also offered free tea at the end.

Do not hesitate to contact these guys and book yourself a treatment!

Best facial I have ever had! Such a lovely staff and Chameera was professional and very skilled at his job. My skin feels soft and I left refreshed and happy.

Amazing place and absolutely unique experience 🫶 we had the “relieve package” and we felt super relaxed afterwards. The massages were great and the herbal bath was truly amazing. They take local herbs for it 🙌🏼we can highly recommend it :)

I had the best neck/shoulder/back massage in Sri Lanka! Finally, a place with the right amount of pressure. Also a very nice and attentive owner. I had a nice chat with him, too.

We stumbled upon this beautiful day spa and were welcomed inside where we could view their extensive menu with a range of services (mani/pedi, relaxation and deep tissue massage and much more). They found a slot for me to get a deep tissue massage and within 10 minutes I was taken into a airconditioned treatment room where a lovely lady gave me the best massage of my life!!! I had to 60 minute deep tissue massage and it was worth every dollar. After the massage I was shown the beautiful outdoor shower where I could wash my hair. My partner didn’t get a massage though he was welcomed inside out of the heat and offered a nice cup of tea while he and the owner chatted away. Could not recommend this place more!! :)

I had a package of a scrub, a massage and herbal bath. The treatments were absolutely wonderful and the staff very profesionál. after the package tea was served. Best spa in sri lanka i visited so far. Thank u tonic

I had a great deep tissue massage after tearing/overstretching my chest muscle while surfing. The service was amazing, I felt very comfortable and well taken care of. My muscles were treated with hot steam, Ayurvedic oil and herbs and of course a massage. I was even invited back the next day for a second treatment with the Ayurvedic oil and herbs and even got a little bottle to use it for the next days. I really appreciated the treatment and I am very thankful, as it has helped the healing immensely 🙏🏼 Thank you! 🙏🏼

When I saw the logo and the Tonic building for the first time, I was very intrigued. I decided to enter after two weeks (don't make this mistake!). I took a package offering massage and scrub with Madhu. The treatment takes place in a cool room, and then you take a shower under the palm trees. Madhu knew after a few moments where in my body I had a problem, after the massage I felt so relieved! Moreover, the cosmetics used during the treatment are natural and smell beautiful. Tonic Spa employees took care of me in a very friendly and professional way, which is very important and make me want to come back.

I got a deep tissue massage from Pardeep. It was sensational (this isn't for the faint hearted) he really digs into all your muscles and finds knots you didn't know were there! I was offered a shower after to wash the oil from my hair but I was heading back to the hotel and had a hat to disguise the mad hair!

I went for the 1 hour full body deep tissue massage and it was amazing. Deepest massage I’ve had here in Sri Lanka, perfect to work the knots out my back and tight calves. The masseuse asked lots of questions to cater to my needs and worked the target areas I asked for as well as avoiding the areas I dislike being massaged! Definitely recommend :)

Had a facial with Chameera who was fantastic! All natural products. Really refreshing in the Sri Lankan sun.

i had a great full body massage by a male therapist. very professional and beautiful ambience. warm water showers and a wonderful cup of herbal tea at the end. thank u.

We had excellent treatments here. Professional service by the highly qualified male therapists. The owner is passionate about delivering meaningful, quality experiences. Hopefully we’ll be back again before leaving Hireketiya. Thanks!

Trendy design, pleasant atmosphere,
good post-treatment tea, and most importantly – real deep tissue massage.
The price is almost twice as high as the average for the island, but the value costs the money.

The only thing I would like to improve is to turn on some relaxing/meditative music during the massage.

Lovely well run spa in the village of Hiri. The owner is super communicative and informative of the different treatments and benefits of each and the staff are all super kind and respectful. Their scrubs are excellent and the massages are perfect to balance out days in the water. Excellent prices for the south west coast too!
