I have to say, this is one of the nicest co-working spaces I have seen in Sri Lanka. The food is a bit on the pricey side, but the quality is excellent!

The staff is great and provides wonderful service, and the room we stayed in had a unique interior design, and felt very comfortable.

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here. We stayed in the Ocean suite room, and for the price, I think it's a great place.

Best WiFi connection in the entire area, you can have high quality video calls without any problems. We went here for coworking and it was a great experience. Quiet area to focus, plus you can book a phone booth if you need to make calls. The food is also nice, and the staff is super kind and helpful ☺

This is one of the nicest co-working spaces in the south, with absolutely amazing food!

The staff and the service is great as well. Their dorms are perfect for a solo traveler and the Rez is great for a group.

We came here for food and drinks and had a great time. Amazing vibe and ambience accompanied by a super friendly staff.

Verse collective is a wonderful place to stay, eat, work, and chill. We spent a very nice week there. The staff was so kind. Charlie is one of the kindest person we met in Sri Lanka. He and the team made everything in order to make our stay pleasant and enjoyable. We strongly recommend this place 10/10.

After 7 weeks of being in south Sri Lanka I’m going to say this is the best food I’ve had here. This is my 3rd visit and I haven’t had a bad mouthful yet, it’s insane.
Mahi mahi burger is outrageous and the granola and the cookies and everything basically.

Great vibe and Ona quoter stretch of Hiriketiya which has the more relaxed and empty beach.

Great staff and fantastic chef. Their new Korean BBQ and Chinese menu is fantastic. Very special and delicious.

Yo, this place is rad! I had a wicked mahi mahi burger that was so fresh and juicy. The place has a chill vibe and a cool style. It's like a surfer's paradise, with a cafe, a cowork space, a hostel, and a shop. The only bummer is that they charge for WiFi, which is kind of lame. But hey, who needs WiFi when you have waves, right? No bad days

Stayed in one of their studio hostel rooms which was beautifully set up and designed and great value for money! Also ate at their cafe which was great and the coworking space was also really nicely set up. Would absolutely recommend and stay here again

Located on a quiet beach, it was a great place to work. Wifi speed is amazing I measured 100Mbit download and upload. Also we ate here three times and everytime thr food was delicious.

Loved it here! Perfect for solo travelers. Amazing vibes, cosy rooms and an awesome staff. Made me feel right at home. The beach is right across. Cannot wait to visit again. Special thanks to Charlie for his help and support. ☺

I loved staying at Verse. The location is perfect for spending the entire day at the beach, as it is only across a small street. At the same time you have the co-working space if you want to get some things done. The Wifi is fast enough for it.
A room for one person is rather small and they are all open to the outside as well as the other inside rooms. I like to hear the rain and sleep with these sounds. Others might see that differently. Be aware of it before booking this accomodation.
The shared showers and toilets were clean for the number of people using them.
Also I loved the food at the café. I tried something different every day and I can recommend it all.
Finally, the staff was super friendly. Always helpful if something was needed and open for a joke or a little chat. Check In was super flexible as well, as I arrive earlier than expected. I felt very welcome and would come back anytime.

Verse Collective is great place to chill in beautiful, modern, loft style interior with beach villa vibe. I have stayed there for two nights, loved the open air studio, place is very clean and well designed. There is enough spaces to work inside, but you can also take your computer outside and work with sea view. Beach is few steps away!

Restaurant have very good food! I ate Mashi Mashi Burger, Bennys Burger and Toast with Avocado, Lemon Tarte and all of it was exceptional! And this is also the only one place in Sri Lanka where I got good coffee!

Prices in restaurant are higher than in other places, thats for sure, but you are paying for tasty, beautifully served food, great service, nice staff, beautifull design of restaurant and cool vibes :) It is just worth it :)

Two things that might be improved:
- I would rather have already higher prices in the menu than adding 10% for service when paying, its so confusing
- The code for wifi for limited GB needs to be written in the browser on the page that open after connecting to not secured wifi. Unfortunately due to my work security settings I couldnt use that wifi, because the page was restricted/or couldnt open it without connecting to VPN first etc. I need normal, secured WiFi to be able to work.

Overall great experience! Recommend everyone!

Verse Collective is a not-to-miss spot in the Hiriketiya area! The food is absolutely amazing: the butter chick pea and the jaffna pork tacos are some of my favorites. Besides their regular menu, they also just launched an asian fusion teppanyaki menu and I highly recommend it! It is reasonably priced, such a fun experience and just like all the other food options, simply delicious. This all comes with a beautiful ocean view and a lovely sea breeze.

HARI BUNG - I ate at Verse for the launch night of their new asian fusion teppanyaki dining experience - deserves the 5 star review, it was fun, it was interactive, it was DELICIOUS, and very reasonably priced for a three course menu. Something new and unique for Hiri and the south coast, I loved it and can't wait to go again! The fortune cookies are a nice touch. Well done guys.

Went there for a coffee which was really good. Loved the atmosphere and vibe there. I just went for a coffee with my book.

This place is amazing!! Best coffee, cocktails, food and service anywhere around. We loved the ambiance, music, and the menu. Child friendly and an awesome date night, breakfast spot or lunch/ cold
drinks right off the beach. It has it all and really gives back to the community as well. Kept going back because the food and service was just so good and inspiring. You can feel the love and heart they have put in to create something truly special.
