Visiting Makomanai Takino Cemetery was a truly captivating experience. The serene ambiance and breathtaking landscapes make it a must-visit destination. A very quiet place to go and see the monuments. Take it with calm and try to have an introspective reflection. The cocoa in the cafe next to the Budha is great!

Beside the iconic Buddha statue, on entering the gates we are greeted by replica of Easter Island heads (Moai Heads)..not far away is the replica of Stonehenge..a great tourist attractions although its Sapporo largest cemetery.

Went there unplanned, but it turned out to be a healing trip to me. the vast area is full of beautiful views. the park is well-planned. The open space park exhibit a scaled features of Stonehenge and moai scultures. And the Tadao Ando masterpiece gorgeously uplifted the focal point: that is the Buddha.

Photos sometimes do not capture how huge and beautiful the Buddha statue is. Around 30-40 minutes drive from central Sapporo. Worth visiting!

It was never a common choice for a tourist to visit a cemetery, but the Makomanai Takino Cemetery was absolutely an exception.

I came to know this place on a website that concern architecture around the world. There sat the masterpiece of Tadao Ando, which covered the big statue of Buddha with a canopy of lavender field. (See the separate record on google map)

Accessible and lots of parking

Just a extraordinary architecture mixed with Japanese zen and Buddhism, breathtaking, must see. There're several direct bus to reach here from the station.

這次在安排北海道行程的時候，就看到這個位在札幌郊區的靈園有這個超酷的大佛，是由安藤忠雄所設計，現場看到的時候真的是超宏偉，而且大佛前方還有躺椅，可以讓人放鬆心靈的坐在裡面放空！

雖然當天天氣不是很好，但是還是非常的好拍照，除了《頭大佛殿》以外，周圍還有巨石陣以及摩艾像，都是值得來參觀，建議一早來比較沒有人～可以更好的拍照！

景色が抜群に良い！
それに1番嬉しいのは各所にベンチがあって
八角堂のところには灰皿がある。
他のところにもあるかも知れないけど。
知らんけど。
喫煙者にはとても嬉しいです。

霊園と思いの外遠い気持ち、ほぼ公園
季節に桜有り、ラベンダー有り、ストーンヘンジや大仏やらモアイ像や鹿のオブジェ
花と緑に囲まれて安らぎさえ感じる、一度観たならここで終わりたいと思うであろう
しかもまだまだ進行中だ、色々な形のお墓が有り時代を過ぎて行く、見ているのも楽しい、ここは新しいお墓の有り様が進化している
景色も山々が見えて恵庭岳がこんな近くに見える、なんて感激すらある。
最近管理事務所が変わりモアイ像の近くに移転した
とても素晴らしい景観です、また中のオブジェが何ともただただずーと眺めていられるカフェも有りますし
仏花も販売しています

일본 최대 규모의 묘지입니다
그안에 공간에 안도 다다오의 유명 건축물이 있으며 모아이상 엪에 레스토랑도 있습니다
제가 방문 하였을때 흐리고 비가 왔는데 날씨 좋을때 다시 오고싶네요

大雨中續往臨近的真駒内滝野霊園探訪安藤忠雄先生設計的頭大仏殿。門口ㄧ排壯觀的摩艾像，園區裡還仿有英國的巨石陣，在大仏殿的另一側，雨太大懶得走過去。前次欣賞安藤忠雄展時就很想來看這個高達13.5公尺、重1500噸的佛像，佛像藏身於建築物內，頂端是開放的天井，未進入到建物時只看得到佛頭，今天下雨，沒辦法看到陽光順著天井射入，入口設有一片淺淺的池水帶，讓拜訪者無法直達建物，需往兩側方向移動才可走進，這樣迂迴的設計讓人更想探索裡面的空間，或也許安藤是想讓進入者先看著這片水鏡沈靜心靈後，再轉進佛所在之處…這樣的設置很喜歡，佛所在的內室空間簡捷但保有莊嚴唯美的氛圍。夏天7.8月來此，外層建築會堆疊種滿紫色薰衣草，今天天氣很糟糕，只能等到夏天時再來一趟了

モアイ像や大仏など、公園として楽しむ人も多いようです。
事務所が新しく広く綺麗になりました。

Endroit merveilleux, je recommande vraiment d’y faire un détour depuis Sapporo.
L’entrée est gratuite et l’ensemble du parc est assez grand pour y passer 1 heure.

巨大なモアイ像がたくさん並んでいてすごい迫力です。
建物の中にも秦の始皇帝の馬車や木彫りの獅子の像が置いてありました。
