North Safari Sapporo

There were relatively lots of animals in the zoo. Most animals were well fed and looks in good health. Some areas looked a bit dirty but other than that the zoo was quite well kept. Penguin walk and polar bear was the highlight for us

Nice petting zoo! All can enjoy and not only for small children.
Price is only 1,500¥ and you get to see many animals up close!! (Parking is 500¥ extra and if you want to feed the animals you can donate ¥100 for small food portion)
The safari is quite small, you will probably finished all the walk around within 2 hours or less so its a good short stop attraction if you happen to get around this part by chance.
Animals are very cute and you can feed most of them. Overall experience is very good and I would recommend to anyone

I really enjoyed my time there with my friend. It isn't an ordinary zoo. It was small but I think it was unique and creative. Of course like other zoos here in Japan, it is small. However I feel that it is an interesting place where you can hold and touch the animals. I would go back again. I felt bad for the tiger and the lions as they are in a small cage, but the rest was okay.

Fantastic place for kids to spend time with small creatures like chiks, birds... children's can touch and handle: crocodile, python, rabits.. It is almost 22km from saporro station. It's well connected to Saporro station with too and fro bus service. Travel, Entrance to North Safari saporro and North safari Adventure, all combined they will charge 2300yen, if you pay at saporro station bus counter. Its worth every yen you pay. All the internal travel between North Safari Adventure and North Adventure Sapporo is free. People can feed tiger by entering in to its cage and take pictures and video while you are feeding. Owels are outside the cages, so you can take beautiful pictures with them too. Dangerous zone is one you should visit if you like to do adventurous things. You can see small insects and snakes scrolls in a closed room around. This is a kind of Safari where you can directly touch the Animals around and enjoy like you are in real forest.Over all its best place for a day outing with family or friends even you are with kinds if you are planning some adventure with fun. There is a food court and Ice cream shop available around North Safari saporro. In North Safari Adventure you enjoy adventure activities like climbing through ropes and nets around the canal and trees. There is small ropeway. You can enjoy as many rides you like for free. There are few other rides like huntting and bungie jump which need additional payments.
Over all its best place for a day outing with family or friends even you are with kinds.

Sleigh dog is the best life time experience. Just opposite of that spot , snow playing spot was another attractions with many props.
With kids most recommended.
My kids loved it. Didn’t want to depart from this spot.

Big fan, I will go there in summer... I certainly recommend this place for those families with kids...but definitely not for those of you who might be an animal activist or perhaps an advocate, you could easily find a few cruel facts here and there...

Amazing place with lots of animals you can pet. Kids had an amazing time and had some interesting things to do.

Great place to interact with live animals. The place consists of three corners, make sure to go through them all.

Interacting with a sloth is one of the most fantastic experiences!

We were so happy that we made it to this place, it was a fantastic experiencing!!! The rides for dog sledding is short but we were all satisfied! Snowmobile was good too about 2.5km! You can enjoy the snow tubes unlimited for free!!! Staff were helpful, we reached there a bit late and the driver was already there waiting for us. It stated in the website it took about 50min from Sapporo station to reach Toyotaki Shougakou stop, but according to bus timebale it is about 1 hour and 3min. The bus schedule didn't show Toyotaki Shougakko stop but not to worry, this will be a stop after Toyotaki Stop. For return, the driver will send you to the bus stop which you can take the bus back to Sapporo Station.

This place is wonder to go with all family or with friends. You can see and tough the animals and have a little adventure with the children. That was fun!
