MARUZEN & JUNKUDO Sapporo

This bookstore has been here for years and it still retains the charm before iPads and phones became mainstream.

Great choices of stationery and neatly organize. They have approximately 5-6 floors so I suppose is one of the biggest bookstores in Sapporo if not Hokkaido .

Even if you don’t speak Japanese you should be able to enjoy the stationeries and merchandises at L1 and B1.

Gigantic English Book Section. Much recommended, but honestly it’s a lot of the same propaganda books as anywhere else in Japan when it comes to business, self development.

Wow the best bookshop in sapporo, with coffee place also and from 1f to 4f is also maruzen wow. The one that ill never forget is the very beautiful and very kind bookstore staff named Moriyama san wow a beatiful smile.

Long time customer and have never been disappointed. Large selection, friendly staff, pleasant atmosphere.

It's rare these days that I need/want to go to a book store, but it will always be a Maruzen for me.

Wow, talk about stationary and writing products. One of the best stores for paper products I've ever seen. I got a very nice business card holder. Glad my daughter found it.

Amazon compensates with popular distribution. Maruzen compensates with academic libraries. Junkudo supports to the foreigne books I am interested in with.

2nd floor has a decent English language book selection, including some foreign magazines.

在庫が非常に多く、検索ですばやく見つけられる。置き方にも色々工夫がある様だ

고층까지 서점이 있는 매우 큰 서점입니다.
1층에 아기자기한 굿즈들도 많이 팔아서 일본어 모르시더라도 구경오기 좋아요. 각 층마다 책 검색할 만한 작은 기계가 에스컬레이터 옆에 있습니다.
2층엔 북카페라고 사실상 작은 카페 공간이 있는데 책을 11000엔 정도 사니 공짜 커피 쿠폰을 주더라구요.

本屋が減っている札幌で、街の中の本屋としては最大級。専門書の扱いも良いですが、雑誌のバックナンバーもあるのが良い。
カフェもあるので途中で休憩もできる。
カフェは会計済みの本のみ持ち込み可能ですので気をつけてください。
未会計の本は持ち込まないように。

地下二階、地上三階のフロアが本屋さん。一階と地下二階にレジがあります。
各階にはエスカレーターで移動します。
一階には文房具の丸善さんもあり、ここで書籍類は全部揃うと思います。
とにかく広いし、沢山あるので迷いますね。
本好きにはたまらないでしょう。

市内の街中の書店といえばココです❗
私は地下2階の隅っこにある、温泉、サウナ、入浴有りの宿泊施設の本が置いてあるコーナーが好きで定期的に通ってまーす🤗
温泉施設探すのならココでお気に入りの本を見つけるっきゃない♪
最近はサウナ本も増えましたね〜^ ^

札幌でも少なくなった大型の本屋さんでガンバッテほしいし
