I recently had the pleasure of visiting a tea shop located in Tanukikoji Street in Sapporo. While I'm not usually a fan of bubble tea, this place introduced me to a truly special and unique variation. Their signature bubble tea was made with matcha, giving it a distinct and delightful flavor. What made it even more interesting was the layer of cheese foam on top, making it an extraordinary beverage.

The cheese foam was light and frothy, creating a creamy and slightly salty contrast to the sweetness of the tea. It added a unique depth of flavor and a velvety texture to each sip. The combination of the matcha-infused tea, the chewy pearls, and the creamy cheese foam created a harmonious balance of flavors that I had never encountered before.

If you happen to find yourself in Sapporo, I highly recommend visiting this shop and trying their matcha pearl milk tea.

Located on the first and second floor. We were in search of a good shave ice as it was very hot at the time. The selection here hit the spot. Tasty and affordable. Cute vibe as well.

The Hokkaido milk ice cream is one of the best but the crepe was alright. Come here for that ice cream. Pretty cramped spot too so get here when not busy.

Menu inside has English on it. Easy to point, order and pay. Delicious crepes and bubble tea.

I ordered a crepe and a cafe latte. You can choose between two types of crêpe batter: chewy with crispy or just chewy. The chewy with crispy was exactly what it sounded like! The interior is clean and they have a Japanese style eat-in area! And the prices are average!

Matcha Cafe & Sweets RIQ (Rikyuu) - after the almost-blow-my-stomach lunch at Fugetsu, we walked around while shopping at their pharmacy and capsule ball surprise egg just to kill some time. Then the princess with sweet tooth spotted this cafe. Putting her Bambi eyes mode, we relented and went inside. A compact and tight space for limited dine-in but managed to find a table that can fit 5 of us. Notable desserts include matcha parfait and their various crepe desserts.

Recommends this restaurant for soft serve ice cream

- there is an English menu but the staff does not speak English. They will try to help you.
- They use original Hokkaido milk, Blue Ribbon
- they have an area to sit down.

Blue Ribbon Hokkaido milk is said to be one of the finest and most delicious milk in the world. Coming from the Netherlands, which is also known for its milk, I was determined to try. The Blue Ribbon Hokkaido milk soft serve is absolutely delicious! Most try if you are in Hokkaido.

Amazing cheese foam drinks! Yes, that’s right: cheese drinks. They mix cheese foam with your late or tea, it sounds heavy but it is surprisingly delicious and a different experience. They have other drinks and sweets in case you are lactose-intolerant. Right on the way of Tanukikoji (the avenue with a roof) in the West 6 block.

Very good uji matcha with cheese on top! The Okinawa brown sugar bubble tea also a good option if u like diary products ...

I came here on an impulse and was not expecting much, but I had to try a boba tea in Hokkaido at least once. Surprisingly, the Okinawa brown sugar bubble milk tea was probably the best black milk tea I have ever had.

Must order matcha mochi with matcha icecream, taste awesome!

Expensive treat but worth the queue and Yen ... smooth, very well made sweets and not overly sweet, just right ... Citrus Soba was delightfully fresh too ...
