Very nice staffs, the owners (sweet couple) are very accommodative. My daughter walked in with no prior appointment. They did her hair till almost past 10pm. We are really satisfied with their skills and hospitality. They also recommended hair care methods.

My husband and I got both of our hair cut by Yuka san while we were visiting Sapporo for the Autumn Festival. She was super sweet and did an awesome job with our hair. We went to 2-3 salons prior to that and were turned away since we didn't have reservations and/or couldn't speak any Japanese. We walked into her salon after reading an online post about foreigner- friendly hair salons, and luckily, Yuka san had an opening on the same day. My husband had his hair cut first, and then we booked another appointment a few days later for mine. The price was super reasonable, less than $50 for each person. We wanted to tip her, but she wouldn't accept it. Her husband and the staff were very sweet as well. I will definitely come back for another haircut when I have a chance to visit Sapporo in the future. Arigatou gozaimashita Yuka san!!!! Matane

I was visiting Sapporo and wanted a haircut and style. I didn't have an appointment as it was a last minute decision. I had read about how Equal was a nice salon to go to for foreigners because they were able to speak some English. I'm glad I went. I'm very happy with my haircut from Hideto, and Yuka was very nice and welcoming. They did their best to help me even though my Japanese is so bad. They were both very nice and very skilled. I will go again if I'm back in Sapporo.

Excellent experience of hair cut and colour in Sapporo with Yuka. Super nice and friendly. I let her decided how to go on with my hair style, she didn't disappointed me haha. Never had this satisfaction on my hair colour. Amazing work 👏 🫶

Dropped by on my last day of my trip in Sapporo on a whim to get my hair cut and coloured. Yuka was really sweet and conversed with me in English. She was absolutely delightful to talk to, and clearly skilled at what she does. I showed her a few inspiration photos, but trusted her completely with the final colour choice as well as haircut. I was absolutely delighted by how it turned out!

The atmosphere of the salon was calming and I almost fell asleep during the hair wash. ❤ Makes me wish I lived in Sapporo so I can be a regular customer! Thank you again for a wonderful and memorable last night of my trip!

All the staff are really nice people. My wife and I have been using them for 20 years. In particular, the president, Shiraki san, is also interested in English conversation. They are very trustworthy. Their cutting skills are also excellent, and they always try to keep up with the latest trends. It is a salon that I can absolutely recommend with confidence.
