Corinthian tomb

This tomb is a little different from others because of the slight Roman touch. It is huge and beautiful. Inside the tomb, the exposed carved rock has bands of amazing colors that make it seem out of this world. It's a little ahead of the Royal tombs but worth the walk.

The upper part of this tomb is similar to that of the Treasury, but it is several eroded. The tomb combines various elements of both Nabataean and classical architectural styles.

It's upper section reminds a bit of the Treasury. Archeologists say it's been built in the same time.

La facciata della tomba corinzia ricorda in parte quella del Tesoro, in particolare nella sua parte superiore. Come per la tomba della seta, anche qui ritroviamo venature particolarmente colorate nella roccia. Purtoppo evidenti sono i segni del tempo e dei terremoti del passato. Comunque fantastica!

Die ganzen Bauten auf diesem Trail waren für mich sehr schön und unfassbar magisch.

La Tomba Corinzia facente parte del gruppo delle Tombe Reali, ricorda nella parte superiore esterna el Khasneh. A seguito di terremoti l'edificio ha subito molti danni.

La Tomba Corinzia differisce dalle altre per il suo stile ibrido. La parte inferiore è un portico di chiara ispirazione nabatea, mentre gli elementi decorativi del livello superiore risentono degli influssi dell'arte ellenistica, che presenta capitelli corinzi che danno il nome alla tomba. Veramente un capolavoro di arte antica.
